My routine has been off lately because I been avoiding Kookie. I wake up earlier than normal to get ready and leave by the time he gets up. I didn't have to avoid him at night because he would get home at 3am anyways.

After five days of this he noticed that he hasn't seen me and somehow got my number and texted me. He said he was making sure I was alive. I told him I been waking up early to get in a workout.

I think he bought the lie because he left it alone. I feel bad for lying but Kookie and I have a complicated situation. When we are around one another, we get into an argument, then end up kissing and at the end I run away more confuse than before.

Doesn't that sound complicated?

So avoid this, I avoid him.

I been doing this routine for about two weeks now and even though I hate the idea waking up at 5 am, I'm starting to get use to it. By the time I get off of work or school, I'm ready for bed.

Which is what I'm ready to do right now so it's 7:30pm and I just got done teaching three classes at the ballet studio. I walk I the corridor of our apartment and I notice the lights were on.

I hesitantly walk up the door and I hear music and people inside.

Why are there people in there?

I inset my key and open the door. I saw all of my Kookie friends along with my three friends.

What the hell?

"Lisa!" A happy Jisoo yell my name.

I gave everybody an awkward smile. "Hey... what's going on?" I ask Jisoo as she ran towards me.

Rose and Jennie walk behind Jisoo.

"We are having dinner.. didn't Kookie tell you?" Rose answer my question.

My eyes went toward Kookie and he was leaning on the kitchen island with a drink in his right hand smirking at me.

"I didn't get the chance to tell her." He says out loud. His smirk widens. "We haven't seen each other in two weeks, Lalisa been up before sunrise to work out." He elaborates.

"You work out?" Jennie ask.

My eyes automatically went to Kookie. His eyes lit up, it was like he was happy that I was caught in a lie.

"Umm.. kind of." I stutter out.

"You must be dedicated as well. At 5 am when you work and have school." Kookie continues.

"That's strange.. You hate working out, that's why dance is good for you."This time Rose spoke up.

I stood there frozen, not knowing what to say. Everybody eyes were on me.

"Umm... a lot has been going on.. I'm sure I been working out but also at school." I saw Kookie was ready to say something else. "But who cares about my whereabouts. What's for dinner?"

Everybody seems to shrug off the topic. "Jin is cooking steak for everyone." Jennie tells me.

I look over at Jennie surprise. "Jin is here?"

"Yeah he is. He's on the roof."

I turn my body to face the deep voice. Kookie stood there with two drinks in his hands. He reach one cup toward me. He had a smile on his face but it didn't reach his eyes.

"Go talk to him." He tells me.

I took the drink from him. I look down at the drink nervously. "Have you two spoke?"

"Yeah.. and I think it's your time to talk to him." He turns and walks away.

I took a deep breath and I hear someone clearing their throat. I turn and see a confuse Jennie.

"What's going on?" She ask.

"I'm not sure. I'll explain later." I tell her.

Before she could say a word, Suga came in my view and wrap his arms around Jennie's waist.

"Hey babe, V and J hope wants play poker. You in?"

"Oh.. I love playing a game where I can deceive people." Suga and I chuckle at Jennie's playful tone. Jennie turn to me. "You will explain right?" I nod my head to answer her question. She gives a wink before walking away.

I look around and I see Rose and Jimin sitting in the couch watching something on his phone. Jisoo and RM were by the kitchen talking and drinking.

I see Kookie eying me. I know he's waiting for me to go talk to Jin.

I went to the staircase that led to the roof top. I took each step up the roof with a shaky hand. I don't even understand why I'm nervous.

I made it to the top of the stairs and Jin is by the grill flipping meat.

"Hey, where the hell is the spice-" he stop talking when he sees it's me. "Hey." He breaths out.

"Hey."

"How have  you been?" He ask as he went back to the meat on the grill.

"Good. And you?" I ask back.

"Good." He replies.

I stayed silent for a moment. "What have you been up to lately?" I ask hoping to get rid of this awkward silence.

"Nothing much." He puts down the tongs. "And you? Are you with Kookie now?"

His question took me by surprise. "Wh.. wha what?" I scoff at his question. "Not at all. Why would you think that?"

He furrow his brows. "Kookie said that he wants you."

"And..." I ask gesture for him to elaborate.

"Well usually what Kookie wants, Kookie gets."

I roll my eyes at his words. "Kookie can kiss my ass." I mumble out. Jin raise an eye brow. "Your friend is a pain in the ass." I tell Jin. He continues to stay quiet. "And quite cocky if you ask me. Just because he get easy girls, does that mean he can get every girl. Well he has to understand that I'm not one of them.. and just because he had a little chit chat with you, doesn't mean I'm his." I continue to ramble, forgetting that I was actually talking to Jin. "Like seriously who the hell does he think is? He seriously needs he- "

My ramble was stop with Jin laughter. I stood there watching Jin with wide eyes.  After a few moments, Jin laughter calm down.

"He really gets under your skin doesn't he?" I didn't have to answer, my face gave him the answer. "This will be interesting." I hear him mumbles.

"Excuse me?"

"Huh.. oh nothing." He tells me. He looks me in the eye with more seriousness. "I know that Kookie's game isn't a typical way to woo a girl, but he hasn't really actually have the need to woo a girl."

"I don't understand..."

"I know. If it helps, I've never seen like this." Hi voice came out distant.

"Like ho-"

"Hey is the food almost ready?" Jin and I turn to the source of the voice.

Kookie.

He was at the door way watching us two. He didn't show any emotions just stare at us.

"Yeah, it's almost done." I turn to see Jin going back to the grill smirking.

I hear footsteps and Kookie was walking toward me.
He gently put his right palm on the back of my waist.

"Let's have him finish cooking, we have a very angry V downstairs wanting food." Kookie tells me guiding me towards the door.

Before we step down the stairs I peak out at Jin who was already looking at us.

"Are we okay?" I ask him.

Jin eyes turn to Kookie, after a second his lips were smirking again.

"We are okay Lisa." He replies.

With that Kookie guided me downstairs to the rest of the group.

Hey everybody.. I know my updates been slow and I'm hoping that it will get better from here. I just finish class and I pass the semester. I only took one class this semester, so it was easy .. anyways.. I hope your holiday are going well.
