Roses Are Overrated

Everyone talks about roses and how
they compare to people's beauty,
but I personally think that
they're just overrated.

Have you seen the marigolds
residing in her who feels ignored,
longing to be seen?

Have you seen the daisies twisted into her hair?
She doesn't need roses to make her desirable
Just the kind heart that she already has.

Have you seen the sunflowers that live in her bones as
she desperately tries to maintain her happiness as
she watches everyone leave her for a single Rose?
