Attention. We all need and seek attention at some point, some more than others.

But the type of people I absolutely cannot stand, are the toxic attention seekers. The type who won't allow you to live your life normally and will start drama because you were "hanging around with other people" and apparently "don't like them".

I am an attention seeker myself, but I have accepted the fact that it's impossible to be the only person in someone's life. I've never forbid anyone to have other friends except me. But being in a friend group is often very hard for me.

I don't like the fact that I'm often the third wheel in a friend group.

I'm often the youngest, the silliest.

I don't know how to keep people interested in me, so I'm not the one people will first start a conversation with. If you think about it, I'm a pretty basic person. Personally, I have no problem with basic people but others do. They often get bored from a simple and basic person. I don't think that's right.

Everyone is trying to be special and cool, and being basic is already something rare now.

Please don't change your personality completely, it's one of the worst poisons for your mental health.
