Jake heard his parents talking about this law one day. He hadn't known about it yet. All he knew was that a rumor of a law was going around. This was the first time Jake had heard about this. His parents were talking about how they knew that the government was going to start this. It was like this, nobody else in the world knew about this but the people who lived in the wilderness. (I do not mean the law. Tons of people knew about the law. I mean the government shutting down lots of humanity.) 

Jake couldn't believe this! He had wanted to leave for so long but had no good reason... But now he had a slightly better reason. But still not enough to leave his brothers and sisters. He loved most of his brothers and sisters. He loved all of his sisters and all of the brothers, except the oldest two. They always bullied him. Always. He had no way out of it. He would be beaten up and his parents wouldn't know! Even if they did know, they wouldn't care.  

Jake just had to stick with his family until they came for him. And that was all he could do. Wait. Just Wait.
