A sixteen year old girl and her boyfriend went out on a frozen lake to ice skate. The water was completely covered in a thick layer of ice. They had been out on the lake for almost an hour when a figure appeared a fee feet away. The figure was covered an ice and wore a captains hat. The couple started skating back to safety when the ice started cracking in a perfect circle around them. The couple screamed as the ice broke and they were standing on the ring. The boyfriend tried to jump to the other side but ended up tipping the circle and falling into the ice cold water dragging his girlfriend with him. They tried to stay above water but the ice had been put back in place and was to heavy to lift. The couple drowned in a matter of minutes and froze. When the water thawed out in the spring they were brought back to shore where they too thawed. They were bloated and blue. Many people reported seeing the ice man the next winter and many more were killed the same way. Captain Dylan Ranbsy had died trying to steer his boat to shore the year before the couple had died.
