[Myst or (y/n) pov]

Once I came across this city, I knew it was going to cool. Judging by how many lights there were in the city, I could also tell that it was quite the bustling place. I quickly learned that the city was called Ebott. The mountain was called Mt. Ebott.

After wandering around for a little while, a bar came into view. The sign on the bar said Grillby's. It looked lively and warm inside, so of course I went in. Not to mention the fact that I was hungry. 

Once inside, I noticed that many people had turned their heads to stare at me. It was creepy, but I was used to it due to the fact of me having extremely dirty and slightly torn clothes on. Many had faces of sympathy on. They quickly returned to what they were doing though. Probably to not seem quite as rude as they already have.

I walked up to the counter to finally notice the flame monster in front of me. After looking over the menu, I noticed the burger that was sitting in front of me. " Um, I haven't ordered yet and I dont think that I actually even have enough money to pay for it," I quickly said to the flame monster, who I assumed is Grillby.

"Just eat it. I'm not worried about you not having enough money. I'm worried about you surviving. You're practically skin and bones, you know. By the way, You're probably going to want to know my name. It's Grillby, What's yours?"

"Well, thank you for being so kind to me. My name is [Myst or (y/n)]. No one else has ever been this kind to me," I muttered the last bit. Grillby looked sympathetic until his face suddenly LIT UP. (Hehe, welp back to the story).

"Well, [Myst or (y/n)], It looks like you need a place to stay. I can also give you a job. After all its just me running this place. You won't need to pay a rent or anything like that since I can tell you're not doing so well on your own," Grillby said as he gestured to my clothes.

"Oh my gosh. You're really willing to give me a job and a place to stay?!" Grillby nodded as a response to my question. " I am literally forever in your debt, Grillby. You have no idea how much this means to me,"

Grillby closed the bar since it was getting pretty late and led me to what I assumed was the basement. Once we got into the basement, he led me to a room with a double full sized bed that had some simple light blue covers on it. There was also a small vanity and a chest at the end of the bed. Next to the bed was a nightstand with a simple white lamp. Atop the chest was a uniform similar to Grillby's. There was also what appeared to be a key on it.

"I still can't believe that you're doing this for me. What's the key for though?" I asked Grillby while gesturing to the chest. "That key is so that if I close the bar, you will still be able to get in. Considering the fact that you're a teen, I'd imagine that you will be out kind of late from time to time,"

"I will never be able to say thank you enough times, Grillby. Also, how did you get my size for the uniform already?" I said as I gestured to the chest yet again.

"Let's just say a little spider told me," I was confused by this but just brushed it off. (Ooh, Muffet references!)

"Well, I should probably get to bed. Is there a certain time that you want me up by?" I said as turned to settle into the homey bedroom. "If you could wake up at any time before nine o' clock, that would be great," Grillby responded after thinking about it for a bit.

"Ok, g' night, Grillby!" I said a little too cheerfully as I set an alarm for eight in the morning. Grillby left the room and I plugged my phone cord into the outlet. After plugging in my phone and ipad, I quickly went to bed and soon fell asleep.
