CreativeLeaf !

For those who don't know, CreativeLeaf is a romance author, as well as a poet.

Over her three years on Wattpad, she's written a total of 14 books, her most popular at the moment being her lyrical collection, Makeout Monday Lyrics. Despite this being her most popular work, I would highly suggest checking out her romance novel, Who You Are - you'll be hooked by the first chapter.

Upon getting to know CreativeLeaf a little better, I can tell you that she is not only incredibly dedicated and passionate about what she does, but she has patience and persistence to boot. She see's creativity as one of the greatest aspects of life, and she definitely knows what to do with it. Along with this creativity that drives her writing further and further, CreativeLeaf is an emotional writer - meaning she loves conveying true, and deep emotions. If any of you have the chance, make sure to read a few of her stories.

How long have you been on Wattpad?
I have been on Wattpad for three years now.

How long have you been writing?
I've been writing since I was nine - so eight years now.

When did you first realize you wanted to write?
I realized I wanted to write when I got a brand new English book back in the fourth grade. You could say a blank page amused me.

What do you like to do when you're not writing?
I love to listen to deeply emotional music - songs that you don't have to sing to love, you just rest and listen.

Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say when you do?
Yes, I hear from all of my readers (thanks you guys!). They talk about how they like my unique writing style and how much emotion I put into my work.

What do you think makes a good story?What I think makes a great story is when you feel like you can surrender yourself to the characters in the book. You have to become the character and see through their eyes, just for the time being. You should be sad to end that book.

How do you go about writing a chapter?
I have a method of listening to songs before I write a chapter. I pull from the lyrics and I put together a scene where that song would apply.

What gives you inspiration?
What gives me inspiration is nature. I love how diverse the weather is as a whole. It switches timelessly and you must adjust to its every whim or in the end you will be sorry. It can be the best thing, or the worst thing.

Who influences your writing?
The universes' reactions influence me to write. Literally everything around me. How the universe reacts to its surroundings; all the emotions of people, movies, stories, songs, ect. They all play a big role in my writing style.

How would you describe yourself as a writer?
I would describe myself as... a devoted writer - devoted or determined, it could go either way. I will write until I finish what I've started. I will stay up late to update and I will revise my chapters constantly. Nothing takes my drive to write away - absolutely nothing.

What's your favorite genre to write under?
My favorite genre to write under is romance; The reason being is with the concept of love, you can break, bend, twist, or murder the rules however you please. Love is boundless. Everyone's perception of love is. It's all unique.

What's one of your favorite stories on Wattpad?
One of my favorite stories on Wattpad is '99 days Without You' by @EdwardSheeran. But I have several more.

And finally, what's one of your favorite stories you've written on Wattpad?
My favorite story that I've written on Wattpad is 'Who You Are'. I feel like I am accomplishing a huge portion on my bucket list every time I finish a chapter, edit a part, or get reads.
