Morty had to go to town. Apparently, Eusine needed him for something. Falkner wanted to go with Morty because he was scared of being alone. Morty decided to let Falkner come wth him. Morty then put a hood on Falkner so his father would not find him. "Are you sure you want to come along?" Morty asked to Falkner in concern.

"Of course, Morty. I'm scared of being left alone." Falkner replied to Morty. Morty nodded and they headed out. Morty's Gengar following Morty while Falkner's Pidgeot was following Falkner. Falkner looked around and saw his father. "Morty...I see my father." Falkner said. Morty looked and saw the father. "Quick, hide behind me." Morty said and Falkner complied. Falkner's father noticed Norty and started walking towards him. Falkner was scared. He was scared of being found by his father.

He doesn't want to go back to his father. He wanted to stay with Morty.

Falkner's fsther asked Morty if he found Falkner and Morty told the faher he didn't. The father nodded and left them.

Falkner's father approched them. "So you hid him from me?!" The father replied angrily. "Well, you treated him badly when you shouldn't!" Morty replied back angrily. Falkner watched and attempted to run but his father grabbed him by the arm.

"Let me go! Let me go!" Falkner yelled and struggled only to get slapped by the cae by his father. Right in front of Morty. "You....You pathetic monster!" Morty yelled in anger and commanded Gengar to use Shadow Ball. Gengar complied and blasted one. Falkner's father smirked and used Falkner as a shield and Falkner got hit instead, knocking him out. "Falkner!" Morty yelled.

"I'll be taking back my son now." Falkner's father replied and left with a knocked out Falkner. Morty just stood there. With emotionless eyes and fell on his knees. A rain drop poured down and it began to rain. Morty just sat there, doing nothing. His Gengar attempted to comfort him but it didn't work.

Morty knew he failed to protect Falkner. His only precious one. He just sat there in the rain. He got up and went to his house and got into bed. He thought of nothing. He felt nothing at all.
