So, this isn't a poem but...At my choir concert last night. They sang religious (Christian) songs. Now I know that you are thinking..."so what?". Well in public schools and their public choirs with students of different regions shouldn't have to sing Christian songs about Jesus. For example, I am Wiccan and I have friends who are atheist and Pastafarian. (both are in the same choir) yet we went to a concert where two other choirs sang religious songs. Which would be fine except for the fact that there were kids in those choirs who weren't Christian. And that it is a public school where kids can have their own opinions/relations with and about God (and a Goddess in my case (and a flying spaghetti monster for my friend)). There for being forced to sing Christian songs isn't fair just because you want to be in choir. Also all the Altos in my group sung really loudly and annoyingly at inappropriate times in the bleachers. So yeah.
