It's been 8 months since I joined the school. It's the last day of school on Friday and currently it's Monday, and this is the last year of school, so we're having our prom tomorrow as well.

Lucy still hasn't talked once. She's still the silent girl, but I see her and Lisanna hand out a lot. I got told by Lisanna that Lucy fears love...

which sucks because...

I Like Lucy.

I know what you're thinking, "How could you possibly like a mute?". Well, the answer to that is: I love her personality.

I want to ask her to prom...but she fears love. If I ask her to prom she'll reject me.

I walk into school holding flowers, looking for Lucy.

I walk up to Mirajane,Gray,Erza,Jellal and Juvia.

"Hey guys..Where's Gajeel and Levy?" I ask as I walk up to them.

"Making out." Mira squeals like a fangirl.

"Have you seen Luce anywhere? I really need to talk to her." I say, hiding my blush under my scale-like scarf.

"Oooo~! Natsu likes Lucy?" Mira fangirls again. Erza looks at me suspiciously.

"He's blushing. He obviously likes her." Erza squeals along with Mira.

"Fine. We're great friends now....I-I like Lucy, okay?" I confess. Their eyes widen at my confession.

"Wait..why are we shocked? We've all known of ages." Gray says.

"True." They agree

I saw Lucy by her locker. "See ya guys later! I'm asking someone special to prom!" I ran off, hearing faint 'Goodbyes' and 'Goodlucks'.

"Luce!" I yell to her. She turns around. She smiles and waves at me.

"I have...something important to ask you." I blush. She looks at me curiously.

I take the roses from behind my back out. I hold her hand as I get on one knee.

"Will you go to prom with me?"

Lucy's P.O.V

"Will you go to prom with me?"

I don't know what to say.....

My eyes widen at his question.

I release my hand from his gentle grab.

I get my notebook and write: "I...I can't...I'm sorry!". I give him the peace of paper.

Tears run down my face, so I decide to run away.

"Lucy!" I hear Mira,Erza and Juvia yell as they enter the girl's toilets.

"Are....Are you okay?" Mira says.

I shake my head a sign of 'No'

"We saw everything...Can you tell us why you said no?" Erza asks softly.

I look at her and point to my lips.

"Oh yeah...You don't speak.." Mira frowns.

"Lucy?!" I hear Lisanna yell as she enters. She sees me crying, so she hugs me.

"It's okay Lucy, you can talk to us all. You can trust Mira-nee,Erza and Juvia." Lisanna assures.

I sigh. "...Hi" I squeak.

Mira,Erza and Juvia gasp.

"OH MY GOD YOU SPOKE!" They yell in unision.

"Yes..I spoke. The reason why I don't talk is because I fear love....I'm sorry." I whisper.

"But, don't you like Natsu?" Mira asks.

"That's the thing....I like him...but I fear love...I don't know what path to take." I confess.

"Well, we'll leave you alone to think about it." Erza says.

"Juvia wishes you luck, Lucy-san." Juvia pats my shoulder.

They all leave the bathroom. I grab my bag, and get a pen and a piece of paper out of it.

I write a letter to Natsu.

I'll place it in his Locker..

I walk over to my locker. I open my locker and a piece of paper falls out of it.

Paper?

I look at it. My eyes widen. I know who's hand writing this is.

Dear Natsu,

I'm sorry. I really am. I like you too...I really do. But the point is..I fear love...and I don't know what to do about it.

You would never like me....I might change myself. Not for you, but for myself. I'm sorry. I can't go to prom with you until I think it over....

My phone rings.

"Hello?" I ask who it is, since it was an un-known number.

"Natsu! This is Lisanna. Lucy told me everything- including the letter." Lisanna informs.

"Yea.....I need a plan onto how to make her mine." I sigh.

"Well..I actually have an idea! I'll get Mira-nee,Erza,Jellal,Juvia,Gray,Levy and Gajeel. We'll be round your house in 10!" Lisanna hangs up..

10 Minutes Later

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

I hear to door knock. I get up and open the door revealing Lisanna,Mira,Erza,Jellal,Gray,Juvia,Gajeel and Levy.

"So, Lisanna. What's your idea? You didn't even tell us." Gajeel complains as we sit on the sofa in my house.

"Well, Lucy loves to sing and loves music. Maybe, we could write a song together and sing it in school tomorrow? - Natsu being the lead" Lisanna suggests.

"That's a good idea!" we say in unision.

We stay up all night writing the song.

"Now, before we go, let's plan on how we'll get Lu-chan there." Levy says.

"How about since Erza,Mira and Juvia are the back ground singers, Gray is the pianist, Gajeel is the guitarist and Jellal is the drummer, Lisanna and Levy go get Lucy into the Main Hall where we're having it." I suggest.

"Yes! Let's do it!"

It's lunch..Which means, time to go find Lu-chan.

Me and Lisanna go search for her. We find her next to get locker, playing with her hair.

"Lu-chan~~! Follow us!" I say.

"What? Why?" She whispers while questioning.

"You'll see!" Lisanna winks teasingly.

"Alright.." Lucy whispers again, confused.
