The night was cold despite the large flames coming from the village not so far from the woods where a woman stood; covered in ash and blood. She could still hear the screams of the children running around to find their families. She almost broke down into tears again but she didn't want to show fear or sadness when she had to persevere through the terrain to find a place to call home.
Alice was her name, the woman in the woods, her short Raven black hair perfectly shaping her rounded face; her piercing green eyes scanned the trees until she saw a faint flicker of a flame. She ran to it, her stomach growling. Alice was prepared to fight if it meant she got to eat something. But when Alice got to the camp ground all she saw was a flame and a small silver fox; now Alice was a sweet woman so she picked up the fox and wrapped it up in her cloak so it stayed warm durning the cold autumn night.

When Alice had finally found something to eat she gave half of it to the small fox pup, "should we set up camp here?" She asked the Animal; she chuckled to herself and laid down, using her arms as a pillow, her small frame shivering as the breeze hit her but that soon became tolerable as she lulled off to sleep for the first time in three days.

When Alice awoke she found the fox still at her side, "cute." She smiled before sitting up, "let's go... Shadow." She said. Shadows hopped up and walked with Alice as they made their way to a small kingdom with a beautiful castle and a nice village.
