Tour del Infierno (Hazbin Hotel-Part 3)

-Location: The Happy Hotel
[No One's POV]

James is seen sleeping peacefully on his new bed when a sudden knocking on his room door is heard. James' eyes slowly open up as he groans in annoyance and slowly sits up. He rubs his eyes and gets out of his bed, making his way to his room's door. Once there he grips the door knob and it can be seen glowing a slight red as he grips it in annoyance. He hates it when people interrupt his sleep. He turns the knob violently and opens the door.

"WHO THE FUCK IS WAKING ME UP?!" James shouts as he looks around, but then looks down to see a slightly taken back Vagatha due to his unexpected angry outburst.

"Er..." the Moth Demon says as her eyes lie on James' physique.

A dust of red spreads on her face as she gazes at the well-built muscles of James' body. Then Vagatha snaps out of her strange trance and shakes her head.

"Ch-Charlie sent m-me up h-here to get y-you," Vagatha tells James. "She th-thought that since y-you're new here th-that you should be g-given a tour of H-Hell."

James looks at Vagatha with sleep still ridden on his face before speaking.

"What time is it?"

"Uh, seven o'clock?" Vagatha guesses.

James stares at Vagatha before closing the door amd going back to bed. This makes Vagatha VERY angry.

"Hey! Come on out!" she orders. "Charlie is trying to be nice and you're just doing this?! How rude can you get?!"

Vagatha is answered by a snoring noise coming from behind James' door and she grits her teeth.

"Oh, come on!" Vagatha says as her X-eye glows in anger.

She kicks the human's door and stomps away back to the lobby. As she nears the bar, Charlie, who is talking with Alastor, sees her friend and notices the irritated look on her face.

"Uh... what happened?" Charlie asks as Vaggie walks up to her.

"That human went back to sleep," Vaggie tells Charlie. "It's not even a day and he's getting on my nerves."

"Well, it IS only seven in the morning!" Alastor declares. "Not everyone is an early bird like others, darling."

Vaggie only rolls her eye and grumbles something about men.

"It's okay, Vag," Charlie tells the Happy Hotel's manager. "We'll just give him a tour when he wakes up. I mean, really, how long will that take?"

-Timeskip-
-3 Hours Later...-

After another three hours of sleep, James is seen walking around his room as he puts on his clothes.

"Did you have to act like that toward Vagatha? She was only doing what she was asked."

"At that ungodly hour?" James questions as he zips up his jacket to its normal position. "Yeah. No. I don't like the morning."

"You should still apologize. It wasn't very nice."

"Zarathos, we're the goddamn Ghost Rider," James tells Zarathos. "Nice isn't what we do."

"I don't care. Apologize to her. Now!"

"Okay! Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! I'll apologize!" James tells the Spirit of Vengeance. "Happy?"

"Yes."

James grumbles unhappily and exits his room, walking down the hallway and to the lobby. As he walks, he walks pass the Spider Demon that was running away from Vaggie yesterday.

"Hmm?" the Spider Demon questions as he looks at James and a grin forms on his face. "Oh! So YOU'RE the human Charlie told me about! I do say, you are quite handsome~"

James does nothing in response to the greeting due to him still being upset about being up this early. As James walks away, Angel Dust just looks in surprise.

"Did he... did he just ignore me?"

As Angel is trying to figure out what just happened, James is seen walking into the lobby and looks around. It's as empty as it was yesterday which wasn't really a surprise. It wouldn't really make any sense for a demon to want to be redeemed when they can do whatever sin they want without much punishment for it.

As James walks, Vaggie sees him and becomes a mixture of flustered and angry. She then marches up to him angrily and raises her hand to slap him for how he acted earlier, only for it to be grabbed by James.

"Can I at least speak before you hit me for being an ass?" the human asks the Moth Demon.

Vaggie, who still looks irritated, scoffs and pulls her hand from James' grasp.

"Thank you," James says and goes to apologize. "I'm sorry for how I acted towards you. I'm just not the best person to be around when I wake up."

To say Vaggie was surprised was an understatement. She was completely shocked that James, who was a man, apologized to her. From all her experiences men were nothing but greedy and prideful pigs who didn't care about who they hurt, yet James went right up and apologized for his earlier behavior. Vaggie was actually speechless for a moment before speaking.

"I... accept your apology."

"Great," James says and smirks. "Cuz I wouldn't know what I would do if a lady as lovely as you stays mad at me."

"I take it back," Vaggie says. "You're an asshole."

Before James can respond, Charlie butts in with her usual happy smile.

"James! You're awake! Great!" she says, quickly getting rid of the hostile aura coming from the area. "How'd you sleep?"

"Meh," James says. "Could've been better if you two didn't decide to wake me up at seven. I already have trouble sleeping sometimes. I don't need to be woken up at seven every moring."

"Yeah, sorry about that," Charlie says. "Just got excited to have a guest and have them be new to Hell, so I just thought why not just give you a tour? You know, so you know what places to avoid in case you do ever take some time to go somewhere."

"And the idea is very thoughtful of you Charlie," James says. "But next time, wait to ask me something after I have breakfast at least? I'm am NOT a morning person."

"Obviously."

"Shut it, Zarathos," James whispers to Zarathos and goes back to Charlie and Vaggie. "So may I have some breakfast? I'm starving."

"Of course!" Charlie says. "Alastor made some breakfast not too long ago and there should be some left. C'mon. I'll show you."

As Charlie leads James to the food, he and Vaggie are walking next to each other in silence before James speaks.

"I really am sorry, y'know."

"I don't care if you're the goddamn greatest person to exist!" Vaggie whisper-shouts at the human. "I know men, and it's only a matter of time you do something that's gonna get everyone here hurt. Once it happens, I'm killing you."

"Okay," James says like Vaggie's threat didn't even faze him, which it didn't.

"'Okay'?" Vaggie questions. "I threaten to kill you and you say okay?"

"You aren't the first to want me dead and you won't be the last," James says. "And, in all honesty, from what I've done killing me is mercy. So hate me all you want, I'm here and you'll have to accept that."

Vaggie stops walking as she watches James and Charlie walk to the bar. What James said echoed through her head.

"From what I've done killing me is mercy."

What makes James think he deserves more than death? And what was it that he did to not fear death anymore and what did he think he deserves? Though Vaggie didn't care much for men, she feels like she knows James and wants to help him for some reason. Was it because Charlie's kindness has rubbed off on her, or something else?

-Timeskip-

After another hour, James, Charlie, and Vaggie are all riding in the Magne Family Limo and driving through Pentagram City. As they pass by multiple places that Charlie talks about and even places that James shouldn't visit when he does venture out of the hotel, James has become silent as he stares out the car window and looks at everything. Charlie noticed this.

"James? Are you okay?" she asks.

"Hm?" James questions as he looks from the window and to Charlie. "Oh. Yeah, I'm fine. Just still can't believe Hell looks THIS similar to Earth."

"Hey, what IS Earth like anyway?" Charlie asks James. "I mean, Vaggie told me about it but it wouldn't hurt to hear from another, right?"

"True," the human says and smiles. "Earth is beautiful. Filled with an amazing blue sky, soft green pastures, and full of life. Well, in some places there are. Others are what people call a concrete jungle which makes it hard for animals to live in the area since there is very few places of forest and whatnot. There are also places that are a lot like Hell from what I've seen of it. There's Las Vegas which is basically called Sin City, and then there's Chicago. Not the best place to grow up."

"You seem to know what you're talking about," Vaggie says, finally speaking after the long car ride.

"So she finally graces us with her voice! Wonderful!" James says playfully. "But yes, I do know what I'm talking about because I was born and raised in Chicago. Trust me, not the place you wanna live at."

"Oh. I'm sorry," Charlie tells me.

"Maybe that explains your behavior then," Vaggie says in distaste.

"Not really," James says. "Juvie is what kinda shaped my personality a bit. Chicago was what made want to become a law enforcer. But not everyone gets what they want, so I did the only other thing I could think of. I became an unofficial bounty hunter that hunted the guilty and fought for the innocent."

"Fight for the innocent?" Vaggie questioned. "What do you mean by that?"

"It's difficult to explain that part," James states. "Maybe I'll be able to explain without problem some other time."

Vaggie looks at James with a raised brow and thinks to herself.

What's so hard to explain about that?  Shouldn't it be easy? Unless he's hiding something, which he probably is. But what could it be?

The limo goes quiet again as James looks out the window to gaze upon the passing areas. James then gets a headache and grits his teeth in teeth.

"James? Are you okay?" Charlie asks, noticing James gritting his teeth.

"I'm f-fine," the young adult states and then widens his eyes. "Stop the car!"

"What?" Charlie questions. "Why? We still have so many places to go and-"

"Nevermind!" James says and goes to speak in Irish. "Déanfaidh mé é féin!"

[Translation: I'll do it myself!]

James lifts both his feet up and slams them into the limo's floor, ripping through it and slamming his feet into the ground. They tear through the ground as well as making the limo slow down.

"James! What are you-" Vaggie starts to ask before an explosion is made in front of the limo and it makes the car turn out of control amd flip over a few times.

After the car settles, it's seen to be flipped onto its roof and James is then seen on the inside roof of the car and he shakes his head. He then searches for his two companions and sees them still on thier seats due to them having their seatbelts on.

"Charlie! Vagatha!" James shouts at them, trying to get their attention. "Are you alright?!"

Vagatha and Charlie then stir back to consciousness and look around in a daze.

"What... what happened?" Charlie asks.

"Something hit the limo," James informs the two. "Hold on you two. I'm gonna get you outta here."

James crawls over to Vaggie and Charlie and grabs at Charlie's seatbelt. He pulls at it but it doesn't budge, so he makes sure that the two females can't see his fingers and lights one on fire. He slices at the seatbelt and Charlie is released from her seat. James then does the same thing with Vaggie but Vaggie ends up falling on top of James.

"GAH!" the human says as Vaggie falls on him and they fall to the ground. "Eh?!"

As James gets his bearings back, he looks to see that he's looking right at Vaggie's ass and his face becomes as red as a tomato. What makes it worse was that he could also see part of her underwear as well. Before anything else could happen James grabs Vaggie's legs and moves them off him so he can crawl away.

"Hey! What's with the sudden roughness?!" Vaggie asks as she gets herself in a sitting position and sees James with a pure red face. "What's with the face?"

"Eeeeeeer..." is all that James can say as he tries to speak. "A-ass... in... f-face."

Vaggie looks at James in confusion but quickly realizes what the human meant and blushes as red as James.

"N-no speaking of this!" Vaggie tells James and turns to Charlie. "Ever!"

James nods his head quickly and Charlie only looks in confusion.

"What's going on?" she asks.

"Nothing!" Vaggie and James says at the same time.

Before Charlie can question anything, a large hand suddenly tears through the car and grabs Charlie's hair. She yelps in pain as she gets pulled of the limo..

"Charlie!" both the human and Moth Demon says at the same time again with fear on their faces. Not for themselves, but for their friend.

James quickly gets another headache but pushes through it as he gets to the door and kicks it off, causing it to fly some feet away from the limo. He then crawls through the door and Vaggie follows him with her spear in hand. When they get to their feet they see a large amount of demons around them and see that about three of them are messing with Charlie. Not enough that violates her but still making her extremely uncomfortable.

"Hey!" both James and Vaggie says which grabs the attention of the demons.

"You even try to THINK of touching her..." Vaggie says and James finishes.

"I'll kill you bastards myself."

The biggest demon, who seemed to be messing Charlie the most, only smirked in amusement and chuckled.

"Really now?" he asks. "How are you gonna do that...."

He snaps his fingers.

"... when you can't even get close?"

A male demon then grabs Vaggie, immobilizing her and makes her drop her spear and another two grab James.

"You even touch her and you die," the human tells the man.

"That a threat, humie?" the male demon asks.

"No," James says and his eyes glow a bright a fiery red as his voice contorts. "A promise."

The man only chuckles at this pathetic human's attempt to scare him and walks away from them.

"Then let's test that promise," he says and goes over to Charlie.

"If he does what I think he's thinking to do... I will personally burn his soul and make him witness eternal torment."

He then grabs her arm and pulls her away from the other men. He them gropes the girl and James' anger rises to its peak.

"THEIR ALL GUILTY! KILL! BURN! ANNIHILATE!"

James' anger gets the better of him and he headbutts one of the men holding him back and sees Vaggie's spear near him. He kicks it high into the air and turns to face his other holder. He places both of his feet on the demon's chest and pushes off, leaping through the air while tearing the sinner's arm clean off as it still gripped James' arm. As he's in the air, James grabs the spear and throws it at the man holding Vaggie back. It goes right into the man's head and kills him immediately, making him let go of Vaggie and fall to the ground with blood spilling from the hole in his head. James lands on the ground and grips the hooked chains around his body as he glares at the demons around him. Vaggie grabs her spear from the dead demon's head and readies herself for a fight, but widens her eyes as she sees James toss his chains at the Charlie. The chains wrap around her and James pulls her away from the man holding her. Charlie gets pulled and swung over to Vaggie, slamming into her and they fall onto the ground. When the two get their senses back the look to see James pulling off the arm and throwing it to the ground.

"James, what're you-" Charlie starts to ask but is cutoff when James speaks to Vaggie.

"Keep Charlie away from this fight," James says as he seemed to be struggling to control himself.

"Amd let you get killed?" Vaggie asks. "Yeah, no."

Although she didn't want to admit it, she doesn't want James to die. He's only human and needs protection from the forces of Hell or he'll die.

Then how did he do all those moves? a small thought asks, making its presence known in Vaggie's mind.

Again another thing Vaggie won't admit. She was impressed by James' moves and actions to free himself and her. REALLY impressed.

"I'm helping you kill these bastards," Vaggie says and stands up to be only stopped by James.

"Vagatha, no," James says. "Voy a sacarnos de esto. Solo confía en mi."

[Translation: I'm going to get us outta this. Just trust me.]

Vaggie just stares at James in shock. He knew Spanish? And... why did what he said remind her of something? Or someone?

Before Vaggie can say anything, a demon comes behind James and he only smiles crazily. Then another comes up at James and tackles the human to the ground. More demons join the dog pile and even beat on the human, only for James to not even feel a thing as he only laughs as he seems to be enjoying the pain. Then a bright light shows through the spaces between the men dog piling James and not even a second later the demons are blown back by a strong force and an explosion of fire. Vaggie, being momentarily blinded by the bright flash of light that followed the explosion, covered her eye before she becomes blind in both of them. When she uncovers her eye, she sees a familiar but terrifying face. Or should it be called a skull?

"All... GUILTY!"
