Too Many Tears
"ROCKY!"
Tennis Ball weeped out as he buried his face into the ground.
His small little friend, the most innocent one out of the group..
Was dead.
Murdered.
In the most painful way possible.
Beside him, Coiny was patting his back in consolement; trying to comfort the grieving ball to the best of his abilities. Fries was covering up Rocky with plaided sheet he no longer used, to save the evidence for Golfball when she came to (whenever that. would be.).
As for Golfball...
She was out, out Like a light.
Needle and Book we're trying their best to wake her up, but Golfball rammed into the pole at such an alarming speed, that she completely knocked herself out.
Chaos was erupting from the group, one side is sobbing, the other, with begs and pleas, trying to wake someone who was out.
Chaos.
Pin liked that.
She stood far off behind the scene, hidden in a large cluster of bushes. A smile crept on her face as she watched it all unfold, with other objects quickly arriving to the scene after the yells began to reverberate through the city.
"We have to take her back to her lab! Maybe she has something there to help?!" Needle cried out, her soft voice filled with panic.
Book shook her head. "She knocked herself out Needle; I don't think there's any cure for that. All we have to do is keep a sharp eye on her, and keep a lot of patience." She sighed, before shooting a glance towards Tennis Ball, who was still erupting with sobs.
"A Lot. Of patience."
Pencil looked at Rocky's corpse and shuddered a bit. Sure, she was glad that there would be no more vomit.
No more messes to clean up..
But she didn't want for it to stop THIS way.
Her eyes glanced down to black stubs, which were still gushing out blood.
The monster who did this took his legs.
What kind of sick, fucking joke IS this?!
She shuddered more before looking away, trying her best to not let a tear slip down her cheek.
As she watched, Pin chuckled softly. She slowly opened her dark, tattered garden bag to reveal that..
Inside, we're two, tiny legs.
Legs that formerly belonged to a small, childlike rock.
———————————————————————————————
"Guys! Guys!"
"What, like, is it NOW Book?"
"She's finally coming to!!"
Golf Ball's legs gently shifted, as she began to squirm a bit. Her eyes tightly shut in pain for a quick moment, as she felt a wave of pain and dizziness come over her. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open, daze and confusion filling them as much as the questions that began to flood her mind. Her eyes adjusted to the room and soon, she saw a few objects surrounding her.
Tennis Ball's face was lit up with relief and joy as he let out a sigh.
"You're finally awake...we thought you were gonna slip into a coma or something." He chuckled.
Golf Ball rolled her eyes as she looked around.
Wait..
Wasn't she just outside...?
"W-..Where am I...?" She mumbled out, rubbing her eyes sleepily.
Book quickly scribbled down some notes before looking up.
"You're in your lab GB. We figured that it would be the best place to leave you rest until you awoke..." she smiled, "..And We were right."
Golf Ball grunted and sank back into her sheets.
"What the hell- how..was I even knocked out? All I remember was..seeing Rocky, and...." her voice began to soften as she mentioned Rocky.
"R-..Rocky.." her voice cracked out. She looked up.
"He's...He's Okay, right? Based off of my c-..calculations, he only had a 50.1% chance of making it, he...he...."
Everyone glanced at each other nervously, before Book cleared her throat.
"He..was long gone when we found him."
Golf Ball's eyes widened. She looked over to Tennis Ball, a small scoff escaping her lips.
"Tennis Ball- C-..Cmon, this is a joke right? Y-You saved him, right?" She chuckled out, a nervous grin on her face.
Tennis Ball's eyes darkened as he gave her a blank stare.
"He was murdered, GB."
Golf Ball's face turned pale.
"Wh-...."
Tennis Ball looked down.
"I found him not long after I found you. He was-...he..." He shook his head before clearing his throat, trying his best not to let out a cry.
Golf Ball put her head down as she began to breathe heavily.
"We don't have much evidence GB, but...the best we can do is at least warn everyone and lay low-"
"Lay low?" She rasped out, her small body trembling.
"Lay LOW?! IS THAT ALL WE HAVE LEFT TO DO IN THIS SITUATION?!"
She stood up, a few tears now rolling down her pale cheeks.
"WE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATING! LOOKING! FINDING OUT WHO DID THIS, DAMNIT! FINDING OUT WHO DID THIS AND MAKING THEM PAY!" She screeched out angrily.
Tennis Ball panicked and tried to sit her back down.
"G-GB, calm down-"
"NO! I DON'T NEED TO!"
Golf Ball turned and faced the objects towards her.
"THERE IS A MURDERER ON THE LOOSE. THIS WASN'T A FOOLISH "ACCIDENT", WHOEVER IS DOING THIS WANTS US ALL DEAD! AND THEY WILL NOT STOP, UNTIL WE ARE ALL DEAD!"
She suddenly collapsed onto her knees, more tears pouring out of her eyes.
"Someone. Murdered Rocky." Her voice began to wobble.
"Someone....took him away..." she began to shake her head.
Everyone exchanged glances of concern and pain.
"For gardens sake, there's too much goddamn tears in this room; I've never seen you like this, GB."
Everyone turned towards Flower, who had her arms crossed and her eyes shut.
"How would YOU feel if someone close was murdered this way, Flower?!" TB snapped back at her.
Her eyes opened, and to everyone's surprise, her eyes were shining with tears.
"I don't even want to think about how I would feel."
A heavy silence filled the air, except for the broken sighs and sniffles that were coming from GB.
"But who could've done such a thing..? Rocky hasn't had any negatives with anyone here! Not even Snowball! Well..he's in the TLC.." Pencil exclaimed.
Book shrugged. "I don't know. For all I know anyone could be suspects..."
"But what kind of person cuts off the legs of a object they just murdered and takes them away?!" Tennis Ball looked up, after sitting Golfball down and handing her a small box of tissues.
"I don't know. But we have to find out sooner or later..." Book said.
Woody, who was standing anxiously nearby, tapped Fries's shoulder. Fries looked towards him, and Woody leaned in to whisper a few words into his ear. Fries nodded, and looked towards Book.
"Woody asked, what are we going to do until the culprit is found?"
Book looked over at Golfball, who was hunched over and still, crying. Tennis Ball gave her a few pats to console her, before looking up.
"We investigate. Find anything that could be clues for us. Find anything that could lead us closer to the object behind all of this." Her eyes narrowed.
"But be. Careful. Like Golfball said, whoever's out there wants us dead. Stay in groups, and, towards the night, make sure everything is locked down."
Pin frowned a bit. She's going to have to think of a different strategy...
"Pff, screw all of this. There is a MURDERER out there!" Flower pointed towards the doorway.
"And you expect us to stay, "in groups"?! I'm sorry, but I'm staying inside for now. You guys JUST let me out of the TLC, and I come back to THIS disaster!" She pouted and crossed her arms.
Ruby nervously took her hand and rubbed it gently.
"Flower, please..." she nervously mumbled. She noticed dirty glances from the group, directed towards her and Flower.
She was the one who asked if Flower could come back first...
Book sighed and looked up.
"Alright. Do as you, like, want. I'm going to keep our alliance meetings going, whether we like it or not!" Pencil snapped, turning around and beginning to walk out of the room.
"Come, Match!"
Soon, Match, Bubble, and the rest of the alliance quickly followed behind her. Book looked towards TB.
"Keep an eye on her." She whispered. TB nodded, and turned back to his friend, who was not leaning on him and staring off into space.
Book then ran out, trying to catch up with the rest of the alliance.

"Coiny!"
"What, what?"
"You're such a cheater!"
Pin laughed before playfully smacking. Coiny's arm, and slamming her cards down on her desk.
"You're just a sore loser, aren't ya?" He smirked, and gently pushed her arm away.
The two had decided to return to Coiny's place and do something to keep their mind off of the fiasco that had happened earlier.
And boy was it working.
Pin laughed before shuffling the cards once again, but Coiny placed a hand on hers.
"How about we just chill? I think I'm all worn out from winning.." he smiled.
Pin rolled her eyes and placed the cards back on his desk.
"Oh screw you."
"What? It isn't my fault I'm the b-"
Coiny's face soon dropped, as he slowly put his hand down.
"You're what now?" She turned around and saw his expression, and her chest soon filled with worry.
"Hey..what's the matter?" Her voice softened a bit. Coiny looked up at her, before grunting and falling backwards, covering his face. Pin frowned before laying down as well, and poking him.
"Coiny?"
No response.
She sighed, before rolling on to her side.
"Hey, Co-Captain, we have a problem."
Muffled words escaped Coiny's mouth, as he refused to take his hands off of his face.
"Someone's tryin to switch teams here. We got team Winner and team Loser. One of the winners is crawling off towards the Losers, so I need backup." She smirked.
Coiny stayed silent for a moment, before he began to chuckle. Pin smiled and sat up, crossing her legs.
"Aw, cmon? Where's that smile of that W.O.A.H Bunch co-captain?"
Coiny sighed before he removed his hands from his face, and looked up at her, smiling.
His eyes were red, as tears were filling his saddened eyes.
"Woah woah woah, what's-"
"I miss him."
Pin stopped talking. She gave him a confused look.
"Miss who?"
Coiny looked at the ceiling.
"I miss Firey."
Pin's eyes widened as she nearly fell backwards from shock.
"You-You MISS Firey? Am I hearing this correctly?" She spat out. Coiny shot her a dirty look, as she giggled nervously.
"I don't know why-I'm used to him always fighting me, and I'm used to fighting him, but..." he stayed quiet for a moment, "I wanted to just, fix it. I didn't really want to fight anymore, I just wanted to, yknow..talk with him. Get to know him. Be a pal, a friend, and just...not slap each other."
He let out a broken sigh.
"Now I missed my chance."
He shut his eyes, and laid on the floor, grief suddenly overbearing him. He couldn't move; he didn't know why, but he felt like this was all his fault.
Maybe he did decide to jump out of the cage.
Was it something he said?
Was it the slapping.
Was it-
A pair of hands yanked Coiny up as he snapped out of his thoughts. Pin wrapped his arms around him gently as she gave him a warm, comforting hug.
"Listen to me. None of this..is your fault." Her voice faltered as she mentioned that it wasn't his fault.
It was no one's fault.
It was hers.
"But I want you to understand this. As Co-Captain, you must understand this. I'm sure Firey wanted to be on good terms with you too. I'm sure he didn't want to fight with you, too." She paused.
"But don't you dare say that this was your fault. Something happened up there. Firey was killed. He didn't kill himself. He was..killed."
Silence.
"But know, that he's resting now. And I'm sure he can hear us; and I'm very sure..he forgives you, too."
By this point, Coiny was silently sobbing into Pin's shoulder. He hugged her tightly as his arms slightly trembled. Pin smiled a bit.
"Hasn't there been too many tears for today Coiny..?" She quietly giggled
Coiny let out a muffled laugh, and Pin held him tightly as she rubbed his back comfortingly.
"It's okay..you're okay.."
She closed her eyes, a tear slipping out of her eye.
"We're going to be okay."
I promise I won't hurt you Coiny.
I love you.
