Knock Knock..

(Warning: gore will be told in this chapter. Read with caution?? I guess? Just be careful or don't read if your squeamish.)

"Finally....I'm done."
Pin wiped the beads of ooze from her forehead, as she collapsed in her newly built secret garden.

It took at least two hours to find a perfect spot that was well hidden from the city and civilization, and well hidden enough for only Pin to find.

She smiled.

Her secret garden was located right near the top of the mountain, hidden by a few towers of rocks and trees. A spot where the sun perfectly hit from sunrise, to sunset.
When she found the spot, she immediately began to work.
She began to rearrange all her flowers and seeds around the edges of the garden, and began to dig up new spots for future plant use.

And for other. Purposes as well.

On her way to the spot, she found a old, deteriorated plastic bottle which seemed to be years old. Yet, there was still water in it. She took it, and with that, she watered her plants and seeds.
And for the final part, she planted Firey's hands.
It was most definitely hard for her. Her hands began to shake as she slowly planted the hands, sticking upright. The lifeless fingers dangled in the air, as she dug them up with wet and dry dirt. She then took out a small tag, and tied it around one of the hands, and on the tag, it was labeled:

Firey. Former winner of BFDI. Plant grower.

Once it was finished, she took a slow, deep breath, and walked out of the garden. She sat outside and stared at the view of the entire city, enjoying the feeling of her being on top of the world.

She felt so powerful. So dominant. She felt like nothing could stop her.
But, like everyone else,

She has her weak spots.

-------------------------

When she returned, the sigh of relief echoed through the air. Coiny explained to her that while she was gone, they couldn't help but try and find her, because they feared that she would try to harm herself even more, or worse.
She apologized, and everyone soon made sure to keep a close eye on her. GB recommended some tests on her, to see if her brain was playing tricks on her, or to see if she was ill. But Pin politely declined.

She knew that they still weren't okay.

Five days have passed since Firey's death.
And within two days, the garden soon began to blossom with so much life, more life than her original garden.
Tulips, sunflowers, marigolds, and torch lilies began to thrive in the garden, their colors bursting with joy and relief.

But yet again, it's been five days.
Surely everyone has gotten over Firey's death, right?

Those who weren't as close to Firey, has already been through the small stages of grief. And it seems that they have already accepted that he was no longer apart of this world.

Pin sighed.

This meant one thing.
It was time for another pair of hands.

She had gone through her list of the people in Yoyle City. There was no order; she chose who she wanted to and continued with that.
But, she would always start off with the most weakest; the most fragile.
Firey's name was now crossed off with a red pen, the scribbles pressed deeply into the paper. The ink bled through the thin sheet and left a few marks on the desk beneath it. It was done and over with, what happened has happened, and there's no going back.

Pin sat in her room, going through the list of the local objects in the city before she heard a loud knock from her front door.
"Coming!" She replied, as she quickly hid the paper and began to walk to the door.

She opened the door and it was no one other than Needle, concern plastered all over her face.

"Needle? What's-"

"No time to explain Pin! Cmon!" Needle grabbed her hand and quickly dashed out of the room, and soon out of the house.
Needle was surely a fast runner.

Pin tried to keep up, being as quickly and as careful as she could be so she wouldn't trip, and soon, they arrived to The Science Museum.
Count stood beside the entrance, his eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. TB stood there anxiously, while GB sat on top of him, confusion and suspicion on her face. She held a small notepad and was focused scribbling down her usual findings, until she heard the footsteps of the two. She looked up.

"Oh wow! You two made it quick!" She smiled a bit.

Needle scoffed.

"Well, who do you think you're talking to hear? The fastest runner in Yoyle City!"

Pin couldn't help but smile. Needle surely could be prideful in herself.
Golf Ball cleared her throat, and soon had a serious expression.

"Anyways, this is no time for chit-chat! This is serious." She sternly proclaimed.

"This morning, me and TB decided to bring Firey's body somewhere safe so we could bury it and at least put him at rest.."

Pin felt her heart drop.

"But as we took a look at the corpse, we realized that his hands were cut off!"

Coiny shivered in disgust.
"Who could've done that? Why would they do that?" His voice was soft and weakened. He wasn't over it one bit.

"We...don't know." Tennis Ball proclaimed.
"But me and GB are planning to start an investigation on the culprit soon, because we're starting to think that this wasn't an accidental cause."

Pin gulped silently. This would surely go downhill, especially if they were to do-

"We're planning to search for some fingerprints on the body, specifically the arms of Firey."

Crap.

"When...are you planning to start the search?" Pin's voice began to tremble, but she quickly held herself together.

"As soon as possible. We're gonna see if we can get started tonight, or tomorrow morning." Golf Ball looked down at her notes.

Pin stared at the ground, her fists clenching together hard.

"We only gathered you three here because we didn't want to cause a wide spread panic to the city- so we only brought you three, who were at least close to Firey." Golf Ball looked down.
"There were more, but as you all know, she has no purpose of being here anymore."
Coiny looked to his side. Needle looked down, her eyes dimming sadly.
They knew she was talking about Leafy.

GB looked up.

"But as I said, we'll share the results once we receive them, and hopefully we can catch this culprit while we can."

She had to stop them.

She can't let them find out, she can't.

But how...

"Bleh!"
A small voice echoed from down the sidewalk, before a small figure came scuttling over to TB and GB.

Rocky.

TB smiled, his eyes filling with pure, childlike joy.
"Hi Rocky!"

Rocky grinned and gave TB a hug, before plopping himself down next to him. GB's mouth slowly began to curl into a smile, before shaking her head.

"Alright everyone, we'll let you know the results asap." She mumbled, before waving her foot towards us.

Coiny walked over to Needle and began to converse with her, not even noticing Pin walking off.
Oh well, who cares?
Her fist clenched even tighter.

I don't. I don't care.

Besides, I already know what to do next.

Sorry you two, I'm gonna be busy.

Busy, with a small little friend of yours.

--------------------------

The sun beamed brightly over the sky. It was a bit past noon, but the autumn air chilled everyone below.

Pin smirked. The time was perfect. She knew that he was just wandering around, or simply just sitting by the Goiky Canal.

Rocky was always a odd being, but no one ever questioned him. He was a child-like, imaginative friend; someone who couldn't respond, but could at least let you cry on his shoulder.
He had a pure soul.

And what way, to make a pure friend like Rocky laugh, than a few jokes?

Pin was walking down a pathway that led to the canal, when she suddenly saw Rocky, plopped down and staring at a small ladybug on the ground. She had her trusty brown shoulder bag; filled with all her essentials she would need, and use to clean up afterwards.

"Hi Rocky!" She beamed happily. Rocky looked up and grinned, before turning around and puking, as per usual.

Pin winced, but gave him a pat on the back.

"What are you up to, pal?" She grinned. He pointed at the small ladybug, and watched it as it soon buzzed off into the sky. Pin also watched, and nodded in agreement.

"Ladybugs sure are precious." She stated. Rocky nodded, adding in a little 'Hmph!' to emphasize his agreement with Pin.

"Say, what do you think those fireflies eat?" Pin gestured towards a small firefly, that was buzzing around in the tall grass. Rocky looked up at her, confusion clear in his eyes.

"LIGHT-snacks!"

It took a moment, but soon, a smile grew on Rocky's face as he began to giggle and burst into laughter. As he did, Pin slowly opened her bag, reaching in for her chef knife she had.

"Wait, wait, what- pff- what kind of bugs would live in Clocky?" She let out a snicker.

Rocky grinned, vomit dripping out of his mouth. His eyes were filled with joy, as his expression emphasized "What? What type of bugs??"

Pin giggled, before bursting out the answer.

"TICKS!"

Rocky burst into laughter, rolling around at the joke made towards someone who was stuck in the Locker of Losers. He giggled and laughed as his high pitched voice echoed down the path. Pin wiped a few tears from her eyes, as she laughed as well.

She clenched the knife.

"Hey Rocky! Wanna hear another joke?"

Rocky beamed with joy as he nodded. He bounced up and down, since he enjoyed the sharing of jokes between him and Pin. It has surely been a while since they've conversed, and it seems like he's getting a new pal to play with!

He just COULDN'T wait to tell Tennis Ball!!

"Okay, um....

Knock knock!"

Rocky turned, and let out a small 'bleh!' of vomit before turning back, eagerness in his eyes.

"Who's there!" He squealed.

"Knife!"

"Knife who?" His eyes gleamed with excitement, ready to laugh his guts out once again at her response.

Grinning wildly, Pin pulled out her chef's knife, and with one, hard swing, she stabbed it deep into Rocky's head, twisting and turning it so it could go in deeper, and deeper. Crunches and splatters were heard, as the knife dug deep into his skull and flesh.

Rocky's smile immediately faded as his mouth hung open in pain and shock. Nothing came out, except for pained gargles and croaks, the noises echoing through the air. The echoes became quieter, and quieter, and soon, a stream of blood and vomit began to ooze from his mouth. His eyes let out a few, glimmering tears, before they rolled back into his head, and turned pale.

Pin smiled as she forcefully yanked out the knife from his head, blood suddenly spurting everywhere. It oozed and drooled down, blanketing his face. Some blood flew and splashed onto Pin's face, as well as her arms and legs.

Rocky's body soon collapsed onto the ground, his legs twitching ever so gently. It seemed to continue for a few seconds...

Before they became limp, as still as death itself.

She let out a small chuckle as she knelt down and began to do her work. She pulled out her handy trowel and proceeded to cut off Rocky's legs.

Since he was just killed, blood began to pour out of his open wounds.

But Pin didn't mind.

She continued, getting blood all over her hands and legs. She cut off his other leg, and sighed in accomplishment.
She put his legs back into her bag, as well as her tools that she had used, special and just for Rocky.

She pulled out some small towels and quickly proceeded to wipe herself clean, watching the blood stain the clean, white cloth.

The first one was drenched in blood.

The second, was a light pink.

And the third, was still white and clean.

Pin looked around, and slowly began to walk out of the way, and proceeded to make her way to the garden. But before she left, she turned around to face Rocky's small, innocent corpse.

"It was 'knife', knowing you Rocky."

She turned around, and began to walk off.

"And I'm sure it was 'knife' of TB and GB knowing you too."
