"Gelatin! What did I just TELL you?!"

"Oh, cmon Fries! Please? Just one!"

"For the last time, NO!"

Fries grabbed the bright, green bag labeled "Growtatoes", and ripped a corner open.

"Let those grow! Those are for me; I have to make more so I don't die off!" He lamented.
Gelatin scoffed and plopped down beside him.

"Can you at least plant some for the rest of us?" He mumbled, his eyes attempting to stare into Fries's. 

Fries hesitated, but let out a sigh.

"Listen. Once I get these growtatoes growing, I'll grow a separate patch for the rest of us. But you HAVE to let these growtatoes GROW." He sprinkled a few seeds into a small hole he dug.

"Did I hear someone say, 'growtatoes'?" 

Gelatin and Fries both looked up, to see Pin and Coiny, both walking towards the small garden.
Gelatin immediately bounced up and immediately pulled Fries up with him. Fries grumbled and gave him an annoyed look.

"Well, our LOVELY friend Fries has informed ME that he'll be planting some new Growtatoes for US! Well, when he's finished with his, of course."

Fries pried Gelatin's arm off and dusted himself off, sighing.

"Yes, but you guys better not ruin my potatoes. Or else you guys won't get ANY." He grabbed his trowel and twirled it in between his fingers.

"You guys can...hang around though." He blushed a bit.
"It gets too quiet sometimes."

A grin slowly grew on Gelatin's face, as Fries gave him a dirty look.

"What?"

"Awww, you actually like us!"

Fries rolled his eyes, and patted his head.

"You guys just keep the quiet away. It's nice to have you guys around." He leaned in close.
"Don't tell the others though; I won't ever hear the end of it." He let out a chuckle.

Gelatin nodded and gave him a 'salute'. "Sir! Yes sir!"

"Okay Gelatin, you can stop." He sighed, and began to dig up the seeds.

Pin snickered, as she saw Gelatin watch Fries work on the garden. A sudden thought popped into her head, and she turned towards Coiny, who was beside her.

"Hey, I just remembered that I have to check up on my garden. You mind holding up here while I go check?" She asked innocently.

Coiny smiled, and held her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. 

"Anything for the lovely W.O.A.H Bunch captain..." He gave her hand a kiss. Pin felt her cheeks glow as she let a smile grow on her face.

"Coiny-"

He chuckled, and stood straight up.

"Of course of course. Go check up on your plants. I'll be here." He leaned in, and gave her another kiss. 

"Bye scarlet~" he whispered.

Pin let out a laugh before gently shoving him off.

"I'll see you in a bit.." she smiled, but felt a dark heaviness in the back of her mind.

Hopefully I'll see you happy like this again.

Before someone else is found dead.

"Hey, Ruby?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you think we're gonna get...murdered?"

Ruby shot up, and stared down at Book, shock filling her eyes.

"Book...."

"It was just a thought!" She put her hands up, but stared at the sky.

"It was just a dumb thought." She mumbled.

Ruby frowned, and grabbed her hands, yanking her up. Book let out a gasp at the sudden yank, blinking a bit before looking into Ruby's eyes.

"Listen.." Her voice was quiet.

"We're not gonna die, Book. I'm sure that...they're going to be caught, and we're going to be okay." She gave Book's hands a soft squeeze. Book felt herself blush a bit.

"But-"

"But nothing." Ruby cut her off. 

"We're gonna live and you're gonna like it. Besides, if we die off...I'm pretty sure we won't be able to come back." Ruby's eyes looked down.

Book sighed, and looked away, feeling herself blush even more.

Why was she blushing.

This wasn't funny at all.

Why was she blushing?!

"Book?"

Book shook her head, and looked back at Ruby.

"Y-Yeah?" She stuttered.

Ruby looked outwards towards the forest, and not looking away, she mumbled,
"Do you think Evil Leafy is the murderer?"

Book looked out towards the forest as well, and shrugged a bit.

"I..don't know Ruby. Evil Leafy is dangerous, sure, but these two 'incidents' were too planned out for them to be natural, such as..Evil Leafy."

Ruby turned towards Book, her eyes now filling with fear.

"Is it one of us..?!" She whispered.

"No...no, Ruby..." she pulled her in for a hug, feeling Ruby's body tremble in fear.

"Listen to me. Soon, this will all blow over, okay? Soon, they're going to be caught, and...no more damage will be done." She mumbled. She felt Ruby's arms tighten around her chest, as she winced.

"Book...?" She tightened her hug.

"Promise me you won't die." 

Book winced harder, feeling her cover bend in.

"R-Ruby-"

"I just..don't want to lose you, your my best friend..." she felt her eyes well up with tears.
"I don't want to lose Flower...I don't want to lose the alliance..I don't want to lose you.." 

"I-I can't breathe-"

Ruby's eyes widened as she quickly let go of Book, moving back a bit. Book wheezed a little and straitened out her back, wincing.

"S-sorry!" Ruby spat out. Book smiled a bit.

"It's okay, it's okay..." she laughed a little.

"For a Ruby, you're really strong.." 

Ruby smiled, feeling her cheeks turn pink.
"Oh, stop.." 

Book laughed a bit, and soon, Ruby joined in, forgetting all about the murders, and the deaths.

Pin sighed, as she looked through the small box.

Tools were cluttered everywhere, dirt and mud covering each one. Her shoulder bag laid beside her, containing the knife, gloves, and some plants she had. 

All she needed now, was a trowel.

"Dammit!" She sat down.

"Where is it?!" 

She angrily shut the small box, and grabbed her bag. She had looked everywhere in the garden, yet she couldn't find that STUPID trowel.

She sighed, and shook her head. She had no choice but to go back to the city and look for it there.

Now the next murder had to be delayed.

She grumbled angrily as she stomped out of her garden, beginning to take the path down the mountain.

"Who could've taken my STUPID trowel?!" She kicked a rock.

"Fries has his own damn trowel; who else decided to plant some crap in the city?!" She was boiling with all of this sudden rage that had hit her out of nowhere. Her fists were clenched as she shut her eyes, feeling hot tears prickle at them.

"Fuck..." She huffed out, collapsing onto the ground. She held herself close as she could feel her heart racing inside of her chest.

"Today was supposed to be it, today was supposed to be IT dammit!" Her voice shuddered as she felt a tear roll down her cheek. Everything about this was starting to nip away at her sanity, as well as her mental health in total. It takes so much energy to plan and go through with a murder; and she already bulldozed through two herself. She looked up, her eyes now overflowing with tears.

Should she just give up? There has to be another way, there HAS to be another way..

She looked around, surrounded with bushes and plants. She crawled up towards them, and began to examine their colors and leaves, trying to take a guess at what type of wild plants they were. 

A bundle of white, bell-shaped plants stood out to pin. She gasped, as she gently brushed her finger over the soft, silky petal. 

"Lilies of the Valley...?" She whispered. "But how...?"

She looked behind her, and looked at the plants. The entry way of the garden had new life growing everywhere, and Pin was too distressed to even noticed. She stood up, and rushed over towards another bush of plants. 

"Oleanders..." Her eyes sparkled in awe. 

"Did my...garden...make these...?" She whispered.

Yes. They did.

"WHAT?!" She jumped, her head whirling around. Yet, there was no one...

Rocky's limbs. They brought so much more life to the garden than you thought. Firey's brought plants, Rocky brought some tasty and hazardous plants; some that are safe to consume, others that are not..

Pin's eyes widened in realization. 

"Thats...THATS IT!" She yelled out. She took the knife out of her bag, and triumphantly threw it down onto the soil. She laughed, and twirled around.

"I DON'T HAVE TO KILL ANYMORE! I DON'T HAVE TO USE MY KNIFES AND TOOLS TO CUT OPEN OTHER CONTESTANTS!" She giggled.

"All I have to do, is use one of these lovely plants Rocky helped me grow, and feed them to a special someone back in the crowd! She can't reject one of my meals; I'll simply lace it with one of these amazing plants...." She stroked the bushes.

"And it looks like I'll have a new 'plant', for my garden..." She let a giggle escape her lips.

"Fiery and Rocky won't feel so alone anymore...they'll get such a beautiful addition to the garden-"

"Eh..?!"

Pin's eyes snapped open as she turned around, and she felt her entire body turn cold.

Woody.

He held the trowel in his hands, with a potted plant in the other. And his eyes stared at Pin, 

horror, disbelief, and fear shining within them.
