Chapter One ✧Home Again✧

I've made some memories in this airport, and I felt like this one would finally be a happy one.

Sure, I was bummed about having to leave France and Isaac, and spending the summer in a foreign with my brother had been amazing, but nothing was better then being back in Beacon Hills. Nothing beats being home again.

From what everyone had been telling me for the past few months over the phone, Beacon Hills had been almost normal. There were no mass murderers, no evil spirits, and no deadpools to give me and my friends trouble. Maybe, for a little while at least, we could pretend to be normal teenagers.

I knew that was just wishful thinking, though. Even if there were no bad guys coming after us for once, we still had a major issue at hand. Me.

I didn't necessarily feel all that different, and I don't think I looked different either, but I could just feel something inside of me changing. Over the summer, little things had happened, things that I couldn't explain, which pointed a finger at the supernatural world that I officially had a love/hate relationship with.

I don't know what happened to me, I just know that there was no going back. I can't push away something that was now a part of me, even if I didn't know exactly what part it was. I just prayed to god it wasn't bad, because bad and Beacon Hills don't mix well.

With a sigh, I adjusted the backpack slung across my shoulder. I slowly made my way through the Californian airport, my eyes desperately searching for a familiar face. In the distance, I heard voices shouting ungracefully, surely causing quite a disturbance.

With a groan, I realized I recognized the voices. In fact, what they were shouting was a unnecessarily prolonged "Charlotte!".

Before I could even find the idiots who were obnoxiously shouting at me, I was practically knocked over as two teenage boys mercilessly tackled me in a bear hug. No longer shouting my name (which I was grateful for) they hugged me as tight as possible, which was unsurprisingly very tight for a true alpha and a pale guy who was formerly possessed by a very evil spirit.

"You are never allowed to leave my sight again, you hear me? I kept having a heart attack when I realized you weren't with us before I realized you were off in France." Stiles exclaimed as he cradled my head against his chest. I let out a stifled laugh, trying not to point out the fact that he sounded like a mother who had just lost her child in the grocery store for the first time.

"Stiles, let me have her," Scott mumbled, practically wrenching me from Stiles' arms as he held me tightly. Once he had his arms around my shoulders and dramatically say, "Living without you was like a never ending nightmare, Char."

Once I was able to contain my laughter, I looked up at the true alpha. "You know I have only been living with you for a few months, right?"

"Okay, so? You're family now Char, whether you like it or not." Scott declared, shooting me a crooked grin before he pulled me back in to another bone-crushing hug.

Even though I was fairly sure one of my lungs had to have exploded from the lack of air I was getting, Stiles seemed to have no problem with joining in on the hug. Soon I was enveloped between too idiotic teenage boys, but I didn't mind one bit. They were my idiotic teenage boys, and I loved them with all my heart.

But as much as I enjoyed my welcoming committee, I couldn't help but wonder if this was it. Did a certain beta werewolf decide he didn't need to see me until school started?

Liam and I hadn't really talked too much this summer, different time zones could do that to people, but we still had left things pretty good. Well, really good, in my opinion. And even though I was completely sure I felt the same way about him as I did when I left, a little part of me couldn't help but worry that his feelings might've changed.

"Can I have some air now?" I questioned between laughs, pushing the two boys apart some. They reluctantly moved back, looking as though they'd worried I'd slip through them and run away if they gave me the chance.

"Stiles," Another familiar voice snapped. Pushing through the crowded airport came my favorite brown-eyed coyote, and a certain strawberry blonde banshee quickly followed her. I felt my heart drop, not seeing anybody behind Lydia. But then, as it saw a unforgettable pair of blue eyes, my heart picked up its pace again, pumping blood into my cheeks to make them red with blush.

"You boys are not allowed to go running off in airports.  We were positive we lost you." Lydia told Scott and Stiles firmly. The two boys nodded there heads quickly, and let out a huff of approval. Then, the banshee turned her eyes to me, and a grin spread across her bright pink lips. "So, sweetie, how was shopping in Paris."

I let out a small laugh and hugged her, telling her that it was quite an experience. When she pulled away, I thought I might've gotten up the courage to turn to Liam, but before I got the chance, Malia embraced me in a hug so tight I was sure a couple of my bones cracked.

"We really missed you, Charlotte," Malia told me when she finally pulled away. I smiled up at her brightly, realizing that I had really missed even her.

"Well I'm glad you managed to survive with out me," I joked shyly, causing the werecoyote to grin widely.

"Barely," Liam mumbled from behind Malia. With a small smile on his face, he stepped pass the girl to get closer to me. I tried to bite back my doting smile, but seeing him there, so close and looking just as I remembered made it impossible. "I really, really, missed you, Charlotte."

"I missed you, too," I told him, my voice more sincere then it had ever been.

The grin on his face was surely a mirror image of mine. At exactly the same time, we both took a quick stepped forward, moving closer to each other. Letting out a short and relieved giggle, I through my arms around him. I felt Liam let out a happy laugh too, his warm breath blowing into my hair as he put his head close to mine. The others were obviously staring at us, but for once I couldn't have cared less about people looking at me.

I could've stayed there with my head snuggled into Liams shoulder for hours, but eventually Scott and Stiles made us pull apart. The two soon-to-be seniors then grabbed my suitcases before corralling all of us out of the airport.

I walked next to Liam, who had at this point intertwined are fingers, carefully grinning over at me as he did so. Wordlessly, I leaned into him. I was finally beginning to forget all the problems I'd been having with myself. There were no random gusts of winds, or inconvenient fires, just me and Liam and the rest of our pack.

I looked around at the others as we slowly made our way to Stiles' Jeep to pack up my things. Quickly, I realized there was a missing piece.

"Wait, where's Kira?" I looked over my shoulder to ask Scott.

"Oh, she just got back from New York so she couldn't really make it." Scott explained, his eyes shooting me an apologetic look.

"But it's okay," Stiles grunted as he struggled with a suit case. "'Cause we're going to see her tonight at Senior Scribe."

I frowned, looking over to Liam for an explanation. "What is he talking about?"

"It's a senior thing, so it apparently doesn't involve us." Liam explained. The look he was giving me told me being the youngest in the pack was proving to be less fun then usual. "Not that it matters, they want to chain me up to a tree, anyways."

My eyes widdened and I felt foolish for not remembering it sooner. "Tonight is a full moon, isn't it?"

"Yeah, it is. But you're here so it's going to be okay." Liam said firmly. I nodded in agreement, happy about how good things have proven to be so far.

"Tonight should be fun." I breathed out carefully, hoping to god I hadn't jinxed something.

GUYS CHARLOTTE (and teen wolf) IS FREAKING BACK!!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY I CANT EVEN EXPLAIN IT!!!!!

Okay, so as you guys can see, Charlotte has developed some, she isn't the terrified little girl she used to be, but what she has developed into is still a mystery! Maybe I'll tell you what she is when we finally find out what Parrish is! But also, Larlotte is still around (Even though they haven't kissed in this story yet but I have that all planned out) and I can't wait for their progression, Char is finally comfortable with her feelings with Liam, so this should be fun!

Anyways guys, I don't know about you but this chapter has made me so happy. Writing Charlotte is just about the best thing I can think of. Some of you have probably noticed that I haven't really updated much in the past month or so, but with teen wolf coming back, I'm suddenly so pumped again. So I hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I did! Please comment to let me know if you did!

Question-  So I'm currently making a playlist for Charlotte, so I was wondering if you guys have any songs that you think would be good for Charlotte or the story? Please let me know if you do!
