Tor:

I'm enjoying it so far. *smiles* I believe, when you choose to build a family with the person you truly love it just felt right. Although, it doesn't guarantee you to have a perfect life every waking hour. It will always be a give-and-take process with your spouse. It's not always the I WANT this and SHE WANTS that. It will always be WE COMPROMISE and WE DO IT TOGETHER thing.

Jude:

There is one thing that I've noticed, actually. When you become a father. You unconsciously choose the things that would make your kids and wife happy. It's no longer, I'll buy this because it looks good on me. I'll do this because it benefits me. It's the other way around - the unselfish version of yourself. Magtatrabaho ako para sa future naming apat. I'll buy these things for Lyre and Sunset. I'll be a better person for them so they'll be proud of me.

Tor:

It was different when we were still single. We're always about ourselves. Our personal ego should be fed well. Pride must win in every argument. But when you're a family man, your responsibilities are redirected to your family and not with your personal wants. If a man is not ready to commit to the attachments of married life then I have to be honest with you now, do not offer marriage when you're not mentally, financially, and spiritually ready. And do not impregnate your partner if you wouldn't be man enough to take the responsibility.

Jude:

Couldn't agree more. *smiles* Fatherhood is a different level of maturity. It takes more patience, more love, and more courage.

Iesus:

Thad:

He can almost do everything. He can make music. He can paint. He can sing. He was an excellent student way back in college. If he didn't choose music. Sa tingin ko madami na siyang na accomplish bilang architect. He has better designs than I am. *Smiles* Jude has the hands of creativity.

Jude:

But Thad is the most hardworking and passionate when it comes to architecture. I may have the skills but I didn't have the passion and I don't see myself in that field. We are a family of architects and yes, I was the black sheep of the family who broke the record. *Chuckles* But I don't have any regrets. Music has always and will always be my first love.

Thad:

Creating the perfect design is as hard as making decisions in life.

Jude:

But always do the things that you love.

Iesus:

I don't think everyone has the privilege to choose what they want or who they want them to be. Anong advice ang maibibigay mo sa kanila?

Thad:

Responsibilities. We all have that. We are given a lot of doors to open but we are always being held back with our responsibilities at home. We always knew the answer - the right door to open, but if you feel pressured and you feel that doing the things that you love will only complicate things, then don't open the door yet. Allow yourself to experience things but do not ever forget your dreams. Remember that life is not a race. Achievements are not measured in years and how young you were able to achieve them. So take your time and be kind to yourself.

Jude:

We always feel that we're running out of time. We always feel left out. Everyone is living the life you wanted and yet you are stuck here. It's normal to feel vulnerable, to feel envy, but don't be harsh to yourself. We all grow at different times and pacing. And it's okay if you're growing slowly because what matters most is, you're growing, and you're learning.

Iesus:

I like what you said, Thad and Jude.

Thad:

In the end, we will all reach our destination if we don't stop trying.

Iesus:

We only lose if we quit trying.

Jude:

True!

Iesus:

Balti:

Keep going. Study hard. And if you made it, then aspire to be better every day. There will come a point in your life where you begin to ask yourself, why did I ever choose to become a teacher? But that's normal. We all get tired. A lot may say bad things about our profession but always go back to that one thing that makes this profession valuable. It's when we help these children see their worth in this world and help them become that simple ambition they had when we asked them, who do you want to become when you grow up? *Smiles*

Iesus:

You're a different person when you're serious.

Balti:

Anyway, Tor, any advice sa mga gustong mag-proceed ng Law?

Tor:

If I'd be honest, Law school is not for the weak-minded. If you're firmed enough to take the challenge then go ahead. If you're having doubts and you're overthinking your capabilities to become one then assess yourself again. Ask this, is this what I really want? Can I survive the possible humiliation of my profs if I wouldn't be able to defend my case and the topic? If you are strong enough to take these challenges then go ahead. It takes a strong mind to defeat personal failures. Weaknesses does not have a seat in the courtroom.

Math:
