We got back to the dorms and started to unpack. My ankle still hurt so I was limping. I hear a knock on my door.
"Hey Y/n." I see Aaron at the door.
"Hey man...is dad in?" I say limping towards him.
"No..but mom's here. She's in his office organizing or something." Aaron says leaning against the door.
"We could ask her. But she probably wouldn't give us answers." I say limping towards our dad's office.
We knock on the door to see our mother looking threw his papers.
"Hey mom....can we..ask you something?" I say looking down.
"Is this about you being an Ultima?" She says sitting in his chair.
"H-How did you know?!" Aaron said helping me sit down.
"I knew this conversation would come up soon. I didn't think it was gonna be so late though." She said looking at us.
"Mom...am....I a monster?" I say looking at her with my Ultima ears and tail out.
"Of course not sweetheart. But to other people...you are." She said looking down.
"Is there a way to remove the curse?" Aaron says looking at her.
"The only way for that to happen is either don't have children or..die.." She says looking into our eyes.
I look down and started to cry.
"I'm going to be a monster forever..." I sobbed and Aaron hugged me.
"Y/n...." I hear my father say.
I look as he kneeled down to look at me.
"I know that I make so much problems but I just want to protect you guys. I wish I could go back and try to convince people Ultimas are good creatures but...what happens is something that we were eventually going to face..." He said putting a hand in my shoulder.
"....it's not right what you guys are doing. Taking away Gene, Aphmau and our closets friends doesn't help us control our selves. They cared for us and stayed with us after they found out..." I say slowly standing up.
Aaron gets up, "She's right.."
"We only want what's best for you!" Dad says getting up.
"That's not the best!!! You're forcing a body guard who's a casanova! And we have to see our friends happy without us!" I yell.
"It's better than whatever you were doing before college."  Dad says crossing his arms.
I roll up both my sleeves to expose my scars and cuts, "IS THIS FUCKING BETTER DEREK?! DOES THIS SHIT FUCKING SATISFY YOU?!"
My mom gasps and my dads eye are WIDE.
"I CAN'T HANG OUT WITH THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO LOVED ME BESIDES AARON. YOU FORCED ME TO BREAK UP WITH MY BOYFRIEND! AND YOU FUCKING PUT ME IN THIS PRISON!" I said crying.
My dad looks at my mom. Without another word I ran, ignoring the pain in my ankle, outside to an isolated area. I finally reached an alley way and ran into it. I collapsed as the pain hit harder. I couldn't move my foot and I couldn't get up. But that didn't matter. I couldn't stop crying. I crawled deeper into the alley until I heard a shout behind me. I turn to see it was Zenix.
He ran down the alley and tried to help me.
"Y/n?! Are you okay!? What happened?!" He said taking off his scarf and wrapping around my face.
I hugged him and started to sob into his chest.
"WHY DID I HAVE TO BE BORN WITH THE WORST FUCKING CURSE!" I said between my sobs.
Zenix hugged and patted me.
"Shhh...breath Y/n...shh.." He said letting me.
Zenix carries me bridal style to his dorm.
"Don't worry. Gene isn't here he left to shopping with Sasha." He said laying me down on Gene's bed.
I started to hug his pillow when I felt smothering under it. I took it out.
It was the bracelet I gave him....
"G-Gene took it off...." I said looking at it.
Zenix sits next to me, "I thought he had it on....he never takes it off. Not even to sleep or shower—" He quickly covers his mouth.
"I wasn't suppose to say that. You're such an idiot Zenix!" He says face palming.
I laugh.
Then I hear the door knocking.
Zenix shots up, "W-Who is it?"
"Zen it's me Gene! Open up!"
Both of us look at each other in shock.
"I don't want him to see me like this!" I whisper.
"Quickly get under the bed!" Zenix helps me get up and puts me under Gene's bed.
I hear footsteps go to the door. I then hear even more footsteps.
"H-Hey dude what you doing back so early!" Zenix says nervous.
"Ugh turns out Sasha didn't need my help and told me to leave." I hear Gene say.
"Hey man can I ask you something? Zenix says.
"Uhh sure shoot." I feel Gene throw himself onto his bed, slightly squishing me.
"I found your bracelet under your pillow. Why'd you take it off??" Zenix says with a serious tone.
"Oh I did? Guess I forget I took the thing off." Gene says.
'..thing?..' I think to myself.
"But it's important to you isn't it?" Zenix said.
"Well...I've been thinking...the chance of being with Y/n again is...slim...maybe I should move on..." Gene says.
I feel my heart being shattered.
"Are you kidding me?? Literally a few days ago you were happy to hang out with her and you couldn't stop texting me about her and now your thinking of forgetting her?!" I can hear Zenix getting angry.
"Well....It's just that her father is never going to let me as long as she's with him." I hear him say
"Well even if you do who would you go after??" Zenix said.
"I don't know but I think someone has feelings for me." Gene says awkwardly.
"Who??" Zenix says.
"Well Cathy...kissed me on the cheek.." Gene says.
I feel my blood start to boil and I start to rip the carpet under his bed.
"U-Uh! Well you can't be so sure she's probably being nice!" I hear Zenix say nervously.
"Well she asked me on a date." Gene says.
I can feel my nails starting to scratch the floor.
"EXCUSE ME!" Zenix gets up.
"Yeah she texted me saying, 'This is probably awkward but do you wanna see a movie with me tomorrow? As a date obviously! A cutie like you is hard to ignore. Anyone text me back!' It's honestly weird. I haven't had this in a while." Gene says laughing
'Is this a joke to him......'
I couldn't hold myself so I crawled out of his bed. I see him shocked and Zenix with a sad face.
"So you just give up on us?! After everything we've been through?!" I saw crying.
Gene gets up, "Y-Y/n! I didn't know you were here!"
I look at his hand to see his bracelet. The tears on my face run faster.
"Go on the fucking date with her! Then maybe you can fuck her!" I say sobbing.
Gene's eyes widen, " Y-Y/n!? No! Wait please!"
I see Gene walking towards me. I grab the bracelet from his hands and..
*RIIIPP*
Pieces fall from the string and onto the floor. I see Gene's face of pain and sadness. I fall to the floor sobbing. I can see Gene's shaking legs. I can see him collecting all the pieces and putting on his bed.
I feel his arms around me. I pushed him and looked at him.
"You're better off without me." I say crying.
"Y/n....please..." Gene says putting his hand on my cheek.
I smile at him and kiss him.

I take off my sweater that used to be his. I put it over him.
"Gene....I love you...Right now I'm in an awful situation...I don't want to hurt you-"
"You're hurting me by not being my kitty!" He says looking at me.
I give him another kiss, " When I'm ready...I'll be your kitty as long as you want...that's if you're willing to wait..."
He look at me, "I've waited 3 years to be with you, 3 months to see you...I just..want to be with you forever but..if this is what you need then..ok.."
I smile.
"AHHHHH!!" Gene and I look at Zenix.
He's there with big eyes, "This is just like the anime!", he's crying, "Why don't you guys fuck already?!"
"Zenix!!!" Gene says.
I get up, again ignoring the pain in my ankle and say, "Bye....Gene..."
Gene gets up and continues to cry.
I start to walk out and shut the door behind me.
