✧ DETAILED DESCRIPTION ⇒ Hawthorne is around the typical average size of a cat of his specific breed, though due to his privileged life as a kittypet, he isn't particularly well built in terms of muscle. However, his twolegs monitor his diet therefore is more on the lanky and lean side of the spectrum. Though it is almost to the point where he would appear to be a bit feminine, even. His short pelt is a stunningly unique mix of black blended smoothly with dark umber and shades of russet; a true signature feature of his breed. Around his neck is a beautiful, yet pricey looking collar of crimson silk tied neatly into a bow tie at the front with a pendant of pearl and diamonds placed in the middle
✧ DISTINGUISHING FEATURES ⇒ He doesn't really have any majorly distinguishing features. Though, perhaps to most, his collar would appear to be something foreign.
✧ DISABILITIES ⇒ Seeing as most all tortoiseshell and calico cats are female, Hawthorne was one of the rare one in three thousand tortie kittens to be born male due to a genetic mutation. Therefore, he is sterile and unable to have biological offspring.

✧ PERSONALITY ⇒ A tom that cares in an unbelievable amount, yet will walk with the weight of the world upon his shoulders. He is one who will be there and try to provide aid to those who are in need of someone who will devote their time unto them. In other words, he is understanding and does possess a comforting sense of kindness toward cats for the most part. Aside from that, he is known to be a very affectionate and loving creature though to get to this point on a serious level with another, he would prefer to familiarize himself quite well, for while his is a caring figure to all, does not mean he is willing to delve deeper into an exploration of feelings with another. Hawthorne has always acquired a love for helping others who seem to be in need, by simply being there or completing a task that they cannot do themselves. However, Hawthorne is not just all gentle rabbits and rainbows. He is a very protective and dedicated tomcat, even a fatherly figure. He is also quite the polar opposite of friendly when it comes to those who tamper with the well-being of those he comes to care for; no matter the background or what they may have done. Hawthorne is there. He is a proud furry shoulder to lean or cry on, a sponge to soak in the angered vents and ranting, and a stone pillar of support with a heart that is far bigger than his stomach.

✧ STRENGTHS ⇒ He is very compassionate and knows of patience and general kindness, level headed and collected, obviously very knowledgeable on twolegs and their behavior along with dogs.
✧ WEAKNESSES ⇒ Perhaps he can be a bit too focused on others to the point where he neglects himself, pretty much completely lacks skills such as hunting, fighting, and especially surviving outside the perimeter of his twoleg home.
✧ LIKES — Late spring and early summer weather when it's not too hot outside to explore his back garden, lounging by his twoleg nest fireplace during leaf-bare, his collar, meeting new people and socializing. He adores raw salmon, muscles, and liver as well as raw goat milk and egg yolk.
✧ DISLIKES — Kibble or canned food, the mistreatment of others, being absolutely helpless, the idea of clan life(he's mostly just very skeptical), harsh weather, blood or anything to do with it. So definitely no hunting for this feline.

* Pompeii [housemate] — A leggy and slim male Saluki with dark grey, light tan, cream, and white fur. He has very pale golden eyes.

* Oscar and Wilde [housemates] — Both elderly male Maine Coons. Oscar is a light silver and white with black tang stripes and chilling blue eyes. Wilde is a fiery ginger and lighter orange with dark russet tabby stripes and golden eyes.

✧ BACKSTORY ⇒
Hawthorne was born within the warmth and comfort of a twoleg home where he lived along with his siblings until he was around eight weeks old. At the time, he was called Keiji by the breeder. Seeing as he was born as a rare male of his breed, his former owner knew that he would be unable to produce a line of his own offspring and so placed him for adoption where he was soon scooped away from his family by a young, recently married couple. A couple that definitely knew of no financial struggle. It was then that 'Keiji' was introduced to a life of lavish luxury where he was no doubt spoiled. Spoiled as in he was put on a raw diet where twolegs fed him his favored raw meats and fish. They were very big literature gurus and fans, and so then decided to name him after Nathaniel Hawthorne.

✧ EXTRA ⇒
* He wears a crimson silk collar tied into a bow tie at the front with a pearl and diamond pendant attached within the middle.
* A very thick and defined Yorkshire accent. He was previously from there, after all. Yorkshire is a place within the country of Britain.
* Very intelligent when it comes to certain twoleg things like books. He certainly cannot read but he is more so fascinated by the mystery that is picture books. Yes, picture books.
* His owners like to spritz him with a faint 'cologne' of pine and cinnamon after his bath once a month.
* A very pampered kittypet for having such a selfless personality.
