You used to tilt your head up to the sky
To let the rain fall on your face
You used to embrace the cold
Because you knew it was something
That we all contained
But now when rain falls you open your umbrella
When the wind blows you put up your collar
And when you say you love me
You no longer look into my eyes
It's like you've completely forgotten
That humans all have flaws
You now think that you're exempt
From all of nature's laws
One day I hope you remember
How you used to embrace people's faults
