The sun rose the next day, the birds chirped happily. The sweet voice accompanying the morning breeze instantly made Sanyukta bloom like flower.

She took a shower, then she made an instant coffee in the coffee maker kept of mahogany table of the room.

She came to the balcony to relish Sunrise and coffee together, a perfect combination to start a new day.

Sanyukta wore a grey sweat shirt with ripped jeans accompanied by long boots.

She made her way to the reception area where all were asked to gather.

“Madam ji, you are looking beautiful” Shreyas blurted out as soon as he saw Sanyukta.

“Shreyas, behave yourself” Sarita Devi scolded him.

Zanskar valley is located 235 kilometres away from the historical battlefield of Kargil. It is situated in the Ladakh region of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and lies over the Pensi La across the Suru valley.

The Zanskar River is a tributary of the Indus. Zanskar literally means 'Copper star'. It is so named because the different rivers flowing into it carries sediments of copper.Zanskar Valley also has opportunities for a lot of adventure sports like river rafting, mountain climbing apart from camping.

“Madam ji, sit in this boat, it has an empty place here” Shreyas spoke getting excited.

Sanyukta sat rolling her eyes, as all other boats were full.

“Madam ji, we can be friends” Shreyas spoke out.

“I am your teacher, and you are my student” Sanyukta replied.

“Madam ji Nick Jonas is ten years younger than Priyanka Chopra” Shreyas spoke out of the blue.

Sanyukta glared Shreyas like a tigress, the latter chose to shut his mouth for his betterment, otherwise he feared to be thrown in the chilled water of Zanskar.

“Now let's start the rafting” the rafting expert spoke. Soon the rafting started. Sarita chose to stay away from rafting due to her aching knee joints.

The boats starting lashing against the water waves. Shreyas lost his grip and fell in the water.

He struggled to stay afloat, Sanyukta screamed for help.

The rafting boat men took boats to the shore, then they dived in to search for Shreyas.

Unfortunately, they couldn't find Shreyas. All came to the hotel with a heavy heart.

Sanyukta felt so sad, her heart felt an ache again, she sat on the bed and closed her eyes.

“This can't be true, please check it out again, God can't snatch it away from me!” Sanyukta wailed.

Sanyukta opened her tear wrenched eyes, she sobbed even more as she recollected those terrible moments of her past in her mind. 

Sanyukta wiped her tears, she made her way to Sarita Devi's room.

“Ma'am, could they find Shreyas?” Sanyukta asked apprehensively.

“Not yet, Army is searching him. I am heading towards an Army camp to know more” Sarita spoke blankly.

“Ma'am, you stay with the kids. I will go to the camp, your knee pain is already bad. I will handle everything” Sanyukta offered.

“Yes, Sanyukta you go there and keep me updated” Sarita spoke messaging her knees with her palms.

Sanyukta quickly went to the army, each passing movement made her more apprehensive.

“We have recovered a dead body from Zanskar River” An army young recruit spoke out to his senior.

“Ma'am you need to do the verification” The senior officer informed Sanyukta.

Sanyukta's face paled instantly, with quivering legs she made her way to the room where the carcass lied.

They removed the white shroud to reveal the face, Sanyukta ran away from there as she couldn't bear to that young boy dead.

She puked outside in the corner, someone gave her water. Sanyukta took deep breaths to calm herself.

She heard a familiar voice, following it, she went inside a temporary tent.

There she saw the lively boy giggling with a man whose back faced Sanyukta.

“Madam ji,I just defeated Yamraj (Hindu God of death and justice)for you” Shreyas spoke while blushing.

Sanyukta spoke out,” I am out of your league boy”.

The man sitting next to Shreyas turned, hearing Sanyukta's voice.

Sanyukta's heart quivered, she saw his perfect jawline, those dark chocolate brown orbs send shivered down her spine.

“Madam ji, this handsome man has given me pro tips,I will definitely win your heart one day” Shreyas spoke with confidence beaming on his face.

“Little boy, forget what tips I gave you. Sheryas you deserve a better person” the man spoke looking straight into Sanyukta's eyes.

His glare scanning her face with scrutiny, his eyes burning with fire ready to burn her.

He noticed the glint of her face missing, she looked like the women for whom he once fell in love but, still she felt like a stranger to him. With the same features, she was the same human, but something looked amiss, which his eyes tried to search for.

“Our Cheetah saved this little boy when he found him washed off on a large rock in the outskirts of Ladakh” the senior officer spoke with pride in his eyes.

“Cheetah, I love you” Shreyas paid his gratitude, unaware of the storm brewing inside Cheetah aka Randhir Singh Shekhawat.

Randhir returned to his base camp, sleep alien tonight. He couldn't remove Sanyukta's newly formed imaged in his mind. The world couldn't see how much Sanyukta changed now but Randhir noticed in the first glance that her eyes were empty, her smile was missing, eyes bags instead of kohl were adorning her once glistening eyes.

He knew it was a different Sanyukta Aggarwal which made a pang in his heart, but the mind wanted to forget Sanyukta, her essence.

Randhir didn't realize when the sun rose because his mind was occupied with her thoughts.

“Cheetah, I am calling you for so long! Chief wants to meet you after breakfast” another cadet spoke out.

“I am so sorry, yeah I'll be there in 5 minutes” Randhir fumbled getting out of his bed.
