She was screaming at the top of her lungs at Kass and I. Obviously we weren't paying attention all too much, smiling to each other. At least, that was till I had to catch a flying palm targeted to my face.

Me: That was a bit cheap now wasn't it.

Ms. Adler: Maybe pay attention and I wouldn't have to do that.

She somewhat growled out.

Her brows only furrowed deeper into the bridge her nose.

She was instantly met by my hard as steel gaze with my tails standing as straight as possible, claws ever so slightly showing.

My gaze turned as soft as feathers when I turned towards Kass but hardened immediately as I faced her mother once more.

Kass: He is a bit clingy right now mom. He didn't even want to do a checkup without me being right next to him. So threatening to separate us isn't the best thing to say right now.

I retracted all but one tail as I wrapped it around Kass' waist, pulling into an even tighter hug. Still glaring daggers at her mom. Ms. Adler sighed before relaxing from her previously tense state.

Ms. Adler: Yes I see that now. But you guys can't do this everyday! I mean, you caused what could've been a terrible scandal!! He could've raped you!

Me: First of all! I stopped myself before I was tackled, thank you very much. Second of all, this little missy said she would've been fine wi-mmph.

Kass had covered my mouth with her hand as to not have me speak of her perverted nature. Although it was already too late.

Ms. Adler: Wouldve been ok with it? Yeah I know of my daughters pervertedness.

I grabbed Kass' hand, which was still over my mouth, and took it off.

Ms. Adler and I have her another, "really?," type of look before rolling our eyes. That was when realization dawned on me.

Me: If you're here, where are the girls?

Ms. Adler: Oh, Anne is watching over them.

I titled my head and a wave of confusion washed over me.

At the drop of that name I sprung out of the bed and started dressing into my normal clothes. I grabbed my phone and quick dialed a number.

Me: Hello, yes get the car ready and quickly, I'll be down in 3 minutes.

Kass: Darling, whats going on?

Me: I'm sorry honey but I need to leave right now, go with you're mom and meet me back home.

Ms. Adler: Ronin, what is going on?

Me: Just meet me back home.

I said before bursting out of the room, nearly crashing into a nearby nurse.

Kass: Ronin!!!

I heard her scream as I bolted to the stairs, charging through the door and sliding down the pole in the middle of the stairwell. Jumping off near the bottom I ran towards the parking garage and saw a car already started and ready to leave. I jumped in and quick dialed again whilst driving out of the garage.

Me: Inform all guards to secure the perimeter and not let anyone other than I in or out of the premises.

I stated before hanging up and speeding down the streets. Miraculously, most lights were in my favor as they lit up green before I sped by them. A couple were red but it didn't slow me down all too much as they passed in a matter of seconds.

Me: Come on, come on.

I frustratedly said waiting for another red light, flooring the gas once it lit up green. Turning onto my street as saw guards on the roofs of the neighboring houses and other posted on the outskirts of the home. Seeing me drive up they opened the gate and allowed me in. Grabbing my equipment from the driver door compartment I ran towards the supervisor.

Me: Is anyone inside aware of you're presence?

Supervisor: As of yet we are not sure.

Me: Stay posted and watch for any movement, inform me via channel 23 if anything comes up. I'm going in.

He nodded stiffly as I ran up to the front door and opened it as if walking in normally. The moment I stepped in I saw her.

Me: You.

Anastasia: Ah, its you.

Me: Where are they. What have you done to them.

Anastasia: Nothing yet. You got here before I could start the fun.

Me: You're a sick bastard for targeting children, you know that right.

Anastasia: I'm using them as leverage, I'm not targeting them. My target is you.

I would've screamed out to warn her if the bitch hadn't thrown a vase at me to shut me up. I dodged it but Luna was already down and at her side.

She turned to me and would've run up to me had it not been for the bitch grabbing her by the shirt and tugging her back.

I pulled out my colt m911 from my waist band and aimed it towards her.

She obliged immediately and I shot to the side of the bitches head. Mere centimeters from her ear.

Multiple sets of footsteps could be heard marching towards the house.

Me: Let her go before I make that threat turn reality.

I tapped the earpiece twice to signal that they hold.

Me: Last chance.

Anastasia: Then dump her.

Me: You do realize she would hate you even more than I do.

Anastasia: I DONT GIVE A SHIT WHAT SHE THINKS THIS IS FOR HER SAFETY!!!

Me: I warned you.

I tapped the earpiece three times.

Me: Dont touch the child.

Multiple sets of guards busted into the house and the bitch was instantly overwhelmed and pinned to the ground. I instantly ran towards Luna and covered both her ears and eyes with my tails to spare her the trauma.

Anastasia: GET OFF OF ME!!!

She tried to struggle free but with five guys piled onto her she couldn't do shit.

Gaurd: We will taze you miss!

The guard with the taser nodded and pistol whipped her in the back of her head.

Me: Thank you. Now please get her out of my sight.

Luna: P-papa, I'm scared. Whats going on?

She said, her voice shaking.

Me: Shhh, its ok my little moon. It's just a nightmare, go back to sleep. I'll see you when you wake back up.

I scratched the tips of her ears, which for some odd reason, put her to sleep very easily.
