Chapt. 38
Ronin Pov
Me: Can you please stop screaming?! We're already off the highway!!
Even through my and her helmet I could hear her scream. To say that they didn't hurt, was an understatement. They were blood curdling screams. She calmed down and eventually stopped screaming once we were completely off the ramp.
Kass: Sorry, I just don't like that big of heights.
Me: And going over 5 mph.
I mumbled, pulling into the parking lot of the studio. I got off and took off my pink, cat eared bike helmet and leather jacket.
Kass: Did you need to get that one specifically?
Me: What? Is it because I'm cuter than you?
I flipped my short black hair, to which she rolled her eyes.
Me: Come on, you know I'm joking.
She huffed and started walking towards the building.
Me: Ugh, you really wanna play that? Fine.
I placed my leather vest into the pouch as well as my helmet, put the bike lock, and put my regular black with gold lining back on. Instantly I turned and ran towards Kass, who was still walking away, and picked her up from behind into my arms. She yelped in surprise, even though you could hear me running up.
Kass: Put me down.
She turned her head away and refused to make eye contact.
Me: Alright.
I could've just straight dropped her, which was oh so tempting, but I set her down and started walking towards the entrance. About a yard from the glass door I felt a gentle presence wrap around my arm. I smirked as it snaked down my arm and intertwined our fingers.
Me: Better?
She nodded and I pecked the top of her head.
Me: Come on. We might be late.
I sped up our walking speed and we entered the building.

Interviewer: Hello and welcome back to the 12 O'clock Interlock! Where we bridge the gap between the viewer and our guests! Im Ken and I'll be your host for today's interview and we have here joining us the talk of the past weeks. Blizzard surviving, multibillionaire, edgy looking Ronin O'Brian!
He motioned to Kass and I off set and we started walking, we sat down in the couch, and I immediatly interrupted him.
Me: I'm not the only one here you know. You could've at the least, said her name.
He looked a bit taken aback and Kass looked a bit nervous.
Ken: Y-yeah, sorry. Accompanying Ronin is his . . . uh, girlfriend? Kassandra Adler!
I nodded and he went on with the first question.
Ken: Thats actually our first question. During the hospital incident, you referred to the 3 individuals you hugged as, "wife and children," what exactly did you mean by that?
Me: Well, one of them was my lady right here.
I motioned towards Kass.
Me: And the other two are people I will not be revealing since it could endanger them. All you need to know about the other two is that I seem them as my children, hence why I called them such. The wife part. Thats a different story.
I could see Kass grow a small blush from the memory.
Me: So, I cooked some food for us and our friends and during the middle of the meal she suddenly blurted out that I would be a good hus-
Kass covered my mouth with her hand whilst covering her face with her other hand. I pried it off and continued, to her dismay.
Me: A good husband.
The studio audience awed at the story whilst Kass covered her face even more. I sighed and layer her on the couch, her head in my lap.
Ken: Very wholesome story. Going off of that story, would you marry her?
Kass instantly flipped over and stuffed her face into my lap so nobody could see her blushing. I laughed at her antics.
Me: Honestly, probably. As long as she is OK with it. Although we are just in high-school, so who knows what could happen.
Ken: Interesting. Now here's a big question. How do you feel about you're grand entrance?
Me: Grand entrance?
Ken: Before now, you were unheard of. No news station had heard of you, and even now there is very little information about your past. So the hospital incident was your big debut.
Me: Oh, well I wish it had stayed that way and I hope the information about my past stays that way.
Ken: Why is that? Why do you not want to be involved in the media? And what happened in your past that makes you wanna forget about it?
Me: Well first of all, stalkers. The media is a shit show where even if you so much as cough people are offended! Watch, you're going to see that some snowflakes are going to be offended by that one sentence if not, this one.
Ken seemed both suprised and intrigued at my answer and leaned in curiously.
Me: About my past? Some chapters are best left unread, and sometimes. They should be torn out.
He got a disappointed face but tried to push deeper, to which I immediatly shot him down.
Ken: Was is something traum-
Me: I aint going into my past and that is final, any mentioning about my childhood and I'm walking off set that moment. Now, are you going to continue.
Ken: Um, how did it feel to find out about you being a nine tailed fox?
Me: Its pretty interesting actually. The tails work as a very cozy and insulated blanket.
I made an example of Kass, who was now laying in my lap face up, by wrapping my tails around her. To which she shuffled as to go to sleep comfortably.
Me: And with the weird eye patterns on them, they seem to scare people.
I moved a tail covering Kass' legs up and showed the pair of blood red eyes before setting it back in the same place.
Me: The only problem is that they can get tangled and messy really easily, and with the fact that they are sensitive to harsh touch, brushing it straight can be a chore.
Ken went on to ask questions that were quite common and boring. That was until the last question.
Ken: How did you react to your parents deaths?
Before this I was in Kass' lap, laying down, but after nearly headbutting Kass' accidentally, I shot up laughing.
Me: You don't know how exilerated I was! They were part of a group of people I wouldn't mind lining up against a wall and shoot in the head mercilessly.
Ken looked shocked at this since, all my other answer were mild.
Ken: Wh-what group are you talking about?
I chuckled once more.
Me: You might think I'm lying, but that wouldn't be all too surprising since they were amazing liars. But that isnt the group I was referring to, no they were way worse.
I looked Ken in the eyes before coldly stating.
Me: They were abusers.
