Ronin Pov

Welp. To say that I'm nervous is a big understatement. Why? Because I'm meeting Kass's family. Why? Because apparently we still had another week of winter vacation left that the school forgot to tell the students about. I had just parked the car and got out, and heard the rear car doors open.

Luna: Papa, are you ok?

Me: Ye-yeah, I'm ok. Now, remember, respectful, and when we get back home you can go rampant. Ok?

They nodded and I took their hands guiding them towards the front door. Another thing, my hair was black again, with a white streak near the front, with it being the oppsite when I turned. How? I dont know, I'm a high schooler not a biologist. All I know is that it is back to before I was a nine tailed fox. Short, jet black, and even more of a mess than before. I let go of both of their hands and knocked on the door.

Ember: Can you sing for us when we get home dad?

I smiled down to her before replying.

Me: Of course sweety.

I had taken them to a store and they chose out what they wanted. Luna got a summer dress that had orange and blue flowers dotting it, whilst Ember had a small flame covered, bomber jacket and jeans that were ripped at the knees.

???: Ro'!

I felt a pair of arms wrap around my neck and I immediately felt a familiar warmth that I longed to stay with me forever.

Me: Who are you?

She pulled away and looked at me, baffled. I just chuckled and pulled her back in.

Me: I'm just playin with you Kass! Geez.

I kissed her neck and felt her shiver in response.

Kass: Are you sure that you wanted to bring them? They can be a bit. . . Harsh.

I kissed her cheek and smiled.

Me: Its ok. If they do say something I'm not fine with, ill send them out the room.

She would've said something before a voice came from the background.

???: Kassandra! Close that door before the flys come in!

Kass: The guests are here mother!

I heard the clatter of what sounded like a metal spoon and the quick clicks of heels against tile flooring, before a women appeared behind Kass. She was shorter than Kass was and had messy and thin looking midnight hair that was, somehow, put into two braids and a ponytail. She wore an apron and a classy looking dress underneath. Huge, sparkling, earrings were dangling from her small, connected earlobes. Just like her daughter, she had shiny/smooth looking skin, and, *cough*, small, chest. I could see where Kass got most of her physical features.

Me: Ah, you must be Kassandra's mother. Its a pleasure to meet you.

I bowed a little and took her hand, giving it the chivalry type hand kiss. She blushed slightly. Definitely her mom.

Mrs. Adler: O-Oh! S-such m-anners!

Me: Well, I must thank you for having me over.

I grabbed Kass by the waist and brought her closer.

Me: And making such a wonderful daughter. Its clear to see where she got all her endearing qualities and beauty from.

She blushed deeper and began to fan herself.

Mrs. Adler: O-oh, th-thank y-you!

I got a light slap on my right cheek.

Kass: You're supposed to flirt with me, not my mom.

Me: Well you're not exactly supposed to do that, but if you insist.

I kissed her on the lips and stayed there till she lossened up, giving her a smile before asking.

Me: Better?

Kass: Much.

A giggle was what broke us apart.

Kass's mom: Oh my! Such raw love!

Kass: Mom!!

I chuckled at Kass's flustered face.

Me: Thank you Mrs. Adler.

I felt a tug at my pant sleeve. I picked up both Ember and Luna and ruffled their hair.

Me: Aww, you guys want some attention as we-

Mrs. Adler: What did I say about sex young lady!!

Kass: Ow, ow, ow, mom wait!

Me: Mrs. Adler! They are not her children!

That got a very confused look from Kass's mom, and a look of pure pain from Kass, from getting her ear pulled.

Mrs. Adler: How about we go inside.

She said in more of a demand than a question, so, we followed her inside and came to a living room with the usual couches and recliner with a circular glass coffee table, with a plant in the center.

Mrs. Adler: So, what are they?

Me: They are not our or my biological children. They are . . . Adopted per say. However, it doesn't make me think any less of them, they might as well be my biological children.

She had narrow eyes to begin with but her pupils grew once she learned the truth.

Mrs. Adler: I see, sorry for my outburst. I thought you and Kass had done the naughty without precaution.

Kass: Mom!!!

She had gone bright red and was covering her face.

Me: Oh, no need to worry about that. I wish to save that for a much later time.

Kass's mom nodded her head and whispered to Kass.

Mrs. Adler: You've got a keeper.

Kass: Mom!!! Stop!!!

I only smiled brightly whislt Ember, Luna, and I giggled. Thats when Kass's motherly instincts seemed to kick in.

Mrs. Adler: Now who are these little munchkins! Such cute little faces, beautiful hair, and adorable little dresses!

Whilst they were getting pampered I sat down next to Kass, who was still covering her face.

Me: Your moms really nice.

Kass: More like embarrassing. She never knows when to be quiet.

Me: Most moms are like that, its fine Kass. If anything, I might be able to see some cute baby pictures of you.

She smacked my arm being screaming.

Kass: No!! Im not gonna let that happen!!

Mrs. Adler: Let what happen?

Me: Well, I was wondering if you had an albu-

Thats when she covered my mouth.

Kass: N-nothing mom! Nothing!

Mrs. Adler: Oh, let me show you some pictures of her when she was young! One second.

Kass: Mom no!!

I chuckled.

Me: Its ok Mrs. Adler. Maybe some other time, you seem to be making her uncomfortable.

Mrs. Adler: Oh, Im so sorry honey. Its just so exciting for you to finally bring a boy home. Especially such a charming man such as him.

I chuckled nervously.

Me: Uh, thank you for the compliment Mrs. Adler.

Mrs. Adler: Nonsense, you might as well call me Mother-In-Law!

Kass: Mom!!! Stop please!!

I chuckled.

Today would definitely be an odd one.
