Ronin POV

Hand in hand, we walked into the girls' room to find them napping. I chuckled a little before walking to the side of the bed.

Me: Wake up my little flame and my silver moon.

They tried to claw away the disturbance again and it reminded me of our first trip to the mall. I smiled discreetly before whispering into their ears.

Me: Your tails would make my soup taste better.

They perked up and nearly slashed my face off with their claws but stopped mere inches away. They glared daggers at me but I only pulled out a brush and sat on the bed.

Luna: Why are you so mean papa?

Me: Me, mean? I'm not mean.

All three women in the room gave me a, "really," type of look.

Me: Ok, maybe I'm a little mean.

Ember slugged my arm softly before turning around on the bed and showing her tail.

Ember: Just don't pull!

Me: I said sorry!

Ember and Luna laughed before I started brushing away their tails. Ember's was a lot more knotted and messy since she was a lot more energetic and active. Whilst Luna's was only slightly knotted, but it did have some tiny sticks here and there.

Me: That should be fine. How do they feel?

Luna: Clean.

Ember nodded in agreement before throwing her arms around my neck, Luna following suit. I heard the door handle shake a little and raised my hand.

Me: Join us if you would like.

The door handle shook once more and another weight was felt on the bed to my right.

Me: Well?

She embraced me in a tight, and comfortable hug. It didnt hurt the girls but it squished them quite a bit, since they were pressed to my chest.

Me: I feel satisfied with my life.

They all pulled away and looked at me funnily.

Me: I meant, if my life were to be like this the the rest of my life. I would have no objections.

They smiled.

Me: Two wonderful children.

I ruffled their hair and booped their noses.

Me: And an excellent partner by my side.

I kissed her cheek, causing her to give me that warmth emitting smile I loved so much.

Me: I would be happy with life.

I pulled them into another hug. My kids hugging my neck and girlfriend hugging all three of us. I didnt want to move, but all our stomachs had a different idea.

Ember: Food.

She held her stomach, and I remembered that we hadn't eaten last night because of my, episode.

Me: I'll make some food but it might take some time.

All 3 girls: We can wait.

Creepy.

Me: Alright. I'll be making the food. Entertain yourselves but don't make too much noise, and be careful. Especially you two.

I pointed towards Kass and Ember who both blushed under my gaze. That had previously broken a chair because they were having fun chasing each other. I chuckled at the memory and kissed all 3 of there foreheads before going into the kitchen. I decided that I would make a very time consuming recipe, but would be well worth the wait.

Me: Mexican recipes take so long but as soooooo good.

I whispered to no one in particular, beforetaking out the green tomatoes, jalapenos, chicken breasts, cumin, (A/N: The spice. He ain't cumin'.) blender out of the cabinet, pots, oil, corn husks, cutting board, and a VERY sharp knife. Apparently even after our, "bonding" in the shower, it was only 8 am.

Me: This will be a very rewarding 5 hours.

___ Many burning eye rubs later ___

Only a couple more minutes and they should be ready. I had to leave the cabin as to get the masa so I could actually make these. There are about over 150 tamales in there, and they are almost solid. The salsa swirling inside, the boiled and peeled apart chicken mixing with it, whilst its flavour seeps into the masa itself whilst it slowly takes its form. I got a few cuts but that because the girls decided to scare me. Let's just say that they tongues started to burn a little after that. I was ripped from my thoughts by an alarm.

Me: Heavens gates are open.

I turned off the stove and reached for the lid's handle after putting an oven mitt on. The smell was heavenly, although the steam felt otherwise. I instantly jerked back as to dry my eyes into raisins.

Me: AHK! God that burns.

The girls chose that moment to try to scare me again but they caught a whiff the contents of the pot. They drooled a bit before asking.

All 3 girls: Ready?

I nodded and they sat down quicker than I could add in.

Me: But they just finished, so they're gonna be really hot.

They nodded there heads and headed to the plate shelf, Kass grabbing three flat plates after I said to. I told them to get themselves as many but to not touch the pot, cause it will burn. I went upstairs and knocked on every door that had someone residing within. When no one answered I just sighed and yelled.

Me: FOOD IS RE-

All the doors slammed burst open and they all stared at me with droopy eyes and Kesh had saliva down his neck.

Me: Wash up and head to the kitchen.

They all went back in while I went back to the kitchen to found my girls waiting there, with empty plates.

Me: I said to get so-

Kass: Too short.

I blinked and then slapped myself. I forgot that the pot is 2 and a half ft tall. Kass couldnt even reach in.

Me: How many?

Kass: 20. For both of us.

Me: And you two?

Ember/Luna: 10 each!

I smiled and reached into the pot and filled each plate with the requested amount. They smiled.

I would content with dying now.
