Kassandra POV

Was I a bit too harsh on him? Yes I thought he was cheating on someone with me but it was basically midnight when I heard it.

Ember: Daddy! Can we go into the pool?

Luna: Yeah papa, can we? Pleeeeease?

I heard him chuckle.

Ronin: You guys dont have the proper clothing for it.

Both: Awwwww. But papa!

They dragged out their words, trying to puppy eye Ron. Ironic really, using puppy eyes when they are cats.

Ronin: We can go get you clothes, how about that?

They gleamed at him before responding.

Both: Right now?!

Another audible chuckle.

Ronin: Of course. Go get ready and wait in the living room.

They began to hop up and down in place before speeding off.

Both: Thank you dad!

They zoomed upstairs, leaving Ron in the kitchen, a smile plastered on his face. I let my hiding spot be known when I cleared my throat and entered the kitchen. He blushed and tried to hide it by turning away. I didn't let him. I pressed myself against his back and wrapped my arms around him.

Ronin: H-hey Kass.

Me: Hello honey.

I whispered into his ear which made him loosen up a little from his tense state.

Ronin: Y-you know th-thats my weak sp-ot.

He whined, making me giggle into his ear.

Me: I know, but it's not gonna stop me.

I softly blew into his ear and he shivered from it.

Ronin: Ka-kass p-please. I have t-to go sh-opping with the k-kids.

I sighed, into his ear of course, before letting him go. He leaned heavily on the countertop.

Me: Can I come with?

He was steadying his breathing and trying to stand normally.

Ronin: Y-yeah, of course. J-ust none of this, stuff, in front of them.

I wrapped him in a hug again before lightly biting his neck, making him stiffen up.

Me: Then I guess I have to do it now.

Ronin: K-Kass, p-lease.

I sighed and let him go, at least, not before giving him a light peck. He was visibly shaking and I kinda felt bad for it.

Me: Sorry Ronin.

He playfully glared at me.

Ronin: J-Just wait until t-onight. J-Just y-ou wait.

I brushed him off before going upstairs and grabbing my shoes as well as his, which were laying near the door. I started down the stairs and hopped down the last four, bending my knees when hitting the floor.

Me: Catch.

I tossed his shoes to him and he caught them before letting them drop to the floor. After putting mine on I went up to him and grabbed his arms, proceeding to wrap them around my waist and his hands on my stomach.

Ronin: What are you doing?

I bent my neck back and looked into his, nearly dark red, eyes.

Me: Its comfy.

He smirked slightly before kissing my forehead, before we heard a gagging noise from the other side of the kitchen.

Ember/Luna: Gross.

I smiled to them while Ronin tried to unwrap the hug.

Me: I didnt say we were done here.

I grabbed his wrists and kept them at my stomach. He only sighed.

Ronin: We can do this later ok? I need to get these little princesses to the store, remember?

Ember/Luna: HEY!!

He laughed a little before resting his head on top of mine.

Ronin: Sorry, queens.

They didnt like that anymore than princesses since they went up to his legs and kicked them.

Ronin: Ow, stop that. Or no swimming.

Ember/Luna: NO!!

They quickly stopped and hung their heads, ears flopped and tails hanging low.

Ronin: I was only joking girls, now come on, let's get going.

They perked up immediately and ran to the garage and proceeded to, from the sound of it, kick it down.

Ronin: Come on let's go. And no soft spot stuff, ok.

He said. Well, his tone was more of pleading but same thing. I puffed my cheeks and pouted.

Me: Fine.

Ronin: Come on, dont be too mad. I'll make it up to you tonight, I can promise you that~.

My head heated up before I nodded. He unwrapped his arms and grabbed my hand, to which I intertwined our fingers. I could see a small smile creep onto his face.

I wonder what he had planned tonight.

Ronin POV

We had gotten into the car and were about to head off.

Me: Seatbelts are on?

Luna: Yes papa, both of us.

I started the car, opened the garage door, and we were off. Only minutes in they immediately asked a question I was hoping they wouldnt.

All three: Can you sing?

I laughed at their unknowing synchronization, but frowned at their question.

Me: Do I have to?

I whined.

All three: Please?

I sighed heavily.

Me: Alright, alright. I'll do it, but only because you're all my princesses.

I was quickly slugged in the arm by a pink faced Kass. I slowed to about 5 mph and choose, "2 feathers," before going the usual 25.

My girls in the back clapped in the back whilst Kass gave me a small cheek kiss.

Ember: Pretty.

I chuckled. Maybe I should sing for them more often.

Me: Alright were getting close.

Were about to hit the actual roads of the town and once we did they all gasped. Small homes littered with snow caked the land, icicles dangling off their overhang roofs. This was the suburban area.

The main sqaure was a lot better.
