It's been three days since you moved back to Seoul but not once Jimin texted you or called you. Your heart was hurting more at the thought of that he was not even bothered to talk to you once. He just cut you off like that. No explanation.. No sorry.. No nothing! But still you didn't hate him. You still love him and with all your heart you would continue to love him. Even if you are given the opportunity to go back and un love him. You wouldn't change a thing. You don't regret your choice to love Jimin.

In this world you really don't get to choose how you get hurt.. but you do have some say in who hurts you.. And personally you like your choices because within this short period of time he gave you a forever filled with happiness and love that no one has ever given to you. Even though he is starting a new life and starting a family, deep down you wished for him to come back to you.

Past two days when reality hit you and when you understood that Jimin is no longer in your life it felt worse than death to you. The only thing you regret was fighting with him. Maybe that's what drove him away from you. Even though he hurt you, you would always go back to him in a heartbeat. 

You looked up at the front door when it opened and Jungkook walked in with bags of groceries. He gave a small smile and went to place the stuff on the counter. Jungkook moved to Seoul with you and you are very grateful towards him for that. Without Jungkook you wouldn't even know what to do. You could see the pain in his eyes as well. He didn't like to see you hurting at all. And you didn't fail to notice how uncomfortable he is around you. 

It was only fair because he loves you and you know it and yet here you are crying over another man. It must be hurting him a lot because he barely make conversation. He keep giving you guilty sad looks and that makes you feel terrible so you avoid looking at him.

"Are you hungry?" Jungkook asks walking towards you.

"Not really." you say shaking your head as you hugged your knees pulling them against your chest and rested your head against it. 

Jungkook watched your sad face. Ever since what he did, he feels so guilty to look at you. His mind was screaming at him to do the right thing but his heart was stopping him from it. He thought taking you away from Jimin and starting over will be the best. But looking at you he knew it was the worst thing. Even though he took you away from Jimin. He really can't take you away from the moments you had with him. He could clearly see that you living in his memories. Past two days he watched you smile to yourself, cry to yourself and even mumble Jimin's name  in your sleep. 

"Will you be starting work tomorrow?" you ask breaking the silence.

"No, not yet. There are some changes happening so I'll just work from here for the time being." Jungkook answered unable to look at you properly. This was eating him up. 

"Jungkook.." his name barely came out like a whisper. 

"Hmm." He hummed and looked up to finally catch your eyes, something in his heart twisted. The way you were looking at him made him want to drown in guilt.

"Can you hug me please." you ask longing for warmth and comfort. Jungkook didn't hesitate as he sat next to you and pulled you into his embrace. You immediately relaxed into him like a baby. Jungkook wrapped his arms around you in a protective manner and kissed the top of your head.

Soon Jungkook heard your muffled cries. He closed his eyes and let out a small sigh as you started again. He wish if he could make you forget all this pain. Jungkook really couldn't understand this relationship between you and Jimin. But one thing he knew was that Jimin had this deep impact on you ever since the college days. He was the only guy you cried over ever since the beginning.

As you were feeling hungry, you got up and rummaged through the groceries Jungkook bought earlier. You sighed when you didn't see any ramen or anything spicy. You looked around and grabbed your bag to go to the nearest convenience store which was only few blocks away. It's been only a year since you were gone and you felt like things have changed a little.

As you were walking, you got a strange feeling like you are being watched or something. You looked around but there was nothing suspicious. It was barely 7pm and so many people were still walking the streets. You shook your head and went inside the store. Earlier Jungkook stepped out saying he had to go to his company to sign some papers. Knowing that he will be tired to cook when he gets back, you got him some of his favorite ramen and snacks as well.

After getting everything you need, you paid and stepped out of the store. As you were walking back you got that weird feeling again. You're just being paranoid Y/n! You said to yourself and continued walking. When you made a turn to your street, you noticed someone following you.

Your heart started racing and the steps got closer. You gave a sideway glanced and walked faster. Once you neared your home, you almost ran and quickly got inside. You went to the window and checked outside but there was no one. You let out a relieved sigh and scolded yourself for being paranoid. Being stressed and weak lately, you felt like your mind was messing up with you. You set everything up and took out the things to make yourself some ramen. 

Meanwhile, Jungkook was coming from his new office building, all he could think about was you and the whole situation. Earlier when he was talking to some friends, he found out that Jimin had walked out angry during the event as the announcement of the engagement was made. It has been the hot trending gossip and rumors are ridiculous.

Did that Jimin do it because of Y/n? 

Or was it because he felt uncomfortable?

Did I do the right thing?

Should I tell the truth?

But what is the truth Jungkook? You don't even know what really happened. All you know is that Jimin just walked out of the event and you stopped Jimin and his friend from contacting Y/n. Jungkook started having arguments in his head as he rubbed his neck feeling frustrated. 

This is not right! If you love her then don't keep her in the dark Jungkook! You are not god, you can't take matters to your hand like this. You can't erase people or their memories from her. She will always love him and you may always remain a friend.

"Only if I opened my heart to you earlier! Only if you never met Jimin... then you would have been mine." He sighed looking at the photo charm of the two of you hanging in the rearview mirror. It was a gift from you when he bought this car. He smiled remembering your words when you put it their. 'This car needs something bright and lovely to bring the driver luck. And My face is perfect for it.' 

"Oh My Angel, you are so perfect for me but I have to be honest with you now even if it means you will not be mine. Someday  I hope you realize that I truly cared about you... That I love you unconditionally.. That I would do anything for you.. and I would sacrifice myself and my love for you, even if it kills me." Jungkook spoke to the void to get it out of his chest. He finally decided to take you out for dinner and tell you what he did. As he got inside the car, he called you and you picked up immediately. 

"Y/n.. I need to tell you something. Can we go out for dinner or something?"

"Oh ok. I was about to make some ramen." You sounded a bit off and Jungkook noticed it. 

"Everything ok?"

"Umm. Yeah I'm just paranoid I guess. I went out and I felt like someone was following me."

"What? Where are you now?" Jungkook asked worrying.

"I'm fine. I'm home." You say to calm him down.

"Ok. I'm almost there.. Just stuck in traffic. Get ready n -" Jungkook was cut off by your sudden yelp.

"Y/n?" he called out your name panicking. 

"What are you doing here? How did you get in?" he heard you ask in a loud panicked voice.

"Oh baby did you forget that I used to live with you." Jungkook's eyes widened as he heard another male voice.

"Y/n who is it?" Jungkook yelled getting impatient.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" You yelled and then Jungkook heard a loud thud along with a ear-piercing noise before the line went dead. 

Jungkook's heart started beating rapidly as a gut wrenching fear took over him. He looked up at the jammed cars and desperately honked for the vehicles to move. "Get out of the way!" he yelled hitting the steering wheel. 

"FUCK!!!" He knew at this rate he won't be get to you and since he was not that far away he got out of the car hurriedly. I need to get to her! He thought knowing that you could be in danger and started running as fast as he can for the first time in his life.

You looked down at your phone on the floor and then back at the crazy looking guy in front of you. He had a sinister smile plastered on his face making your skin crawl.

"What the hell Taehyung. What do you want?" You yelled at him anger creeping through you.

"I told you. I want You." he said walking towards you.

"Are you crazy.. GET OUT NOW!" you screamed at him.

"Tch..Tch..Tch.. Is this how you talk to the man you are going to be with." He says trapping you against the wall and lowering himself to your eye level. You could smell the alcohol in his breath. He has been drinking! Your eyes widened because drunk Taehyung is a trouble Taehyung. He is barely in control. But you couldn't care less about it now.

"I will never be with a jerk like you so now get out." you spat the words harshly at him. Something in him snap and he grabbed your jaw firmly. His lips twisted into a devilish smirk that gave you chills down your spine.

"You will definitely be with me now that Park is out of the way. I heard that he dumbed your pretty ass for a hotter one." He mocks in a low husky voice and you look away in disgust. "You know that.. what you and him did to be is unforgivable right? But I'm ready to forget it all since I can have you and start all over." he leans in to kiss you but you quickly push him away from you with full force and slap him hard on his face. 

"FUCK OFF YOU BASTARD!!  I WILL NEVER COME TO YOU.. YOU WORTHLESS.. GOOD FOR NOTHING ASSHOLE." You screamed at him, triggering him and next thing you knew was you were held harshly against the wall with his hand wrapped around your neck. 

"Good for nothing huh! Let me show you what I'm good at. Maybe a proper fuck can make you come back to your senses that you will be mine hereafter." He hissed tightening his grip around your neck making it hard for you to breathe. Your heart started pounding in your chest and fear crept through you as you felt weak all of sudden.

"N-no" you tried to scream while you struggled against him. But the way he was choking you was making you hard to do anything.

"Plea-a" You tried to make him let go of you but seeing you struggled his eyes looked amused and his expressions got darker. He was enjoying it in a sick way. 

"You know Y/n. I tried to get you in a nice way, keeping track on you and caring for you. But look what you are making me do." He says brushing his lips against your ear. You struggled as tears broke out. No Tae Please don't do this! Please!  You begged inside of your head looking at him with pleading eyes hoping it would stop him from his wild evil thoughts. 

You yell out when he suddenly grab you from your hair and shoved you down to the floor. You coughed quickly grasping for air holding your burning throat. You saw Taehyung walking towards you like he is hunting his prey. His eyes were dark and he looked evil. You were scared of him.

"Pl-pleas don't! Tae this is not you." You stuttered as you dragged yourself back on the kitchen floor. Fear consumes you as he removes his jacket and throws it away. "No..Tae.. please. lets talk this over." You say backing away crying and shaking your head. He let out a deep chuckle. 

"It's too late to talk now. I think you deserve to be punished for the things you did to me. And then we can start over." 

You looked around to grab something but there was non. You noticed your room door slightly opened. Wanting to escape from him, you tried to get up and run. But in a swift movement he roughly grabbed your T-shirt and ripped one side off from you. He was already on top of you while tackling you down and pinning you to the floor.

"No Please. Don't... HELP!! " You cried as you moved your hands to hit him against the chest and push him away. But that only angered him more and made him land a hard slap across your face.

"Stop moving you bitch." he screamed at your now burning face. You were completely helpless and all you could do was shut your eyes and beg for mercy.

Please help me! Why is this happening! 

"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" you heard a deep angry growl and in a flash Taehyung was thrown off from you. You couldn't register what was happening as you were shaking in fear. You opened your eyes to see Jungkook standing with ragged breathing as he stared in horror at you.

You suddenly felt disgusted and covered yourself with your hands as you managed to sit up and corner yourself to the counter. Jungkook clenched his fist and went at Taehyung who was lying on the ground. "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER!" Like an angry beast Jungkook got on top of Taehyung and started punching him but Taehyung didn't hold back either. You heard painful groans and punches the two of them threw at each other, you closed your eyes hugging your knees and cried uncontrollably. You just wanted everything to stop and go away. You wanted to disappear. 

"Stop that right now! Officer get them." Suddenly two officers barged in. You looked up shaking, you were unable to speak and all you could do was cry in relieve to see the police. They quickly pulled Jungkook and Taehyung away from each other. 

"We got a report of a break in. What's happening here." One officer asked. Jungkook was panting with blood dripping down his busted lip. As soon as the officer asked that he came into his senses and quickly looked for you.

"Y/N! Oh my god. I'm sorry." Jungkook quickly took off his jacket and covered you instantly. He wants to kill that fucking Taehyung. If the police didn't show up he would have been dead right now. Jungkook wrapped you up in his arms and looked up at the officers. 

"It was me who called. Please arrest that bastard. He tried to hurt her." Jungkook growled glaring at the beaten up shameless man who sat across him. Taehyung still had his smirk on like a lunatic and that pissed Jungkook more. 

"Sir. I need you and this Miss to give us a statement. For now we will take him away." One officer said to Jungkook and he nodded. The two officers grabbed Taehyung and he looked at you and then at Jungkook with darkness filled eyes. 

"Come on Precious. We need to go give the statement." Jungkook said softly not to scare you and helped you up once you gave a nod.

You walked over to the front and followed the officers outside to their car so that they could take the statement book and record everything.

"Are you ok to do this now?" Jungkook asked concerned seeing you still shaking and scared. You were still wrapped in his arms and you felt safe so you gave a nod. 

Once you were done you stepped away to get some fresh air as Jungkook gave his statement. You saw the other officer was asking somethings from Taehyung and he was just silent glaring at Jungkook. You didn't like the way he was looking at him and you felt uneasy. Jungkook was leaning against the metal railing with his back turned to you and Taehyung. 

Taehyungs eyes wandered around the surroundings. You noticed his eyes stopping on the garbage bin near him. You followed his eyes to see what he is up to and gasped with big wide eyes when he quickly grabbed a big wooden rod and rush at Jungkook. No..No..No!

"Jungkook watch out!" You quickly got to Jungkook and pushed him out of the way right in time as Taehyung swung the rod. But unfortunately it came and hit you hard cracking your head. The sharp burning pain swept through you and you fell forward hitting the front of your head hard against the railing before dropping to the ground.

"Y/N!" You heard a howl and everything started becoming too noisy.

"Oh god call the ambulance!" You heard someone scream. Your ears were ringing and the pain was eating you up. But  slowly the sounds started to fade and your ears completely blocked out the noises. You faintly saw Jungkook pouncing on probably Taehyung and the officers were busy pulling them apart. Everything was blurring out and all you could hear was your own loud heartbeat.

Your body felt numb and your head was hurting a lot. You felt hot liquid trailing down your face and under the cheek. But at that moment, more than your pain in the head, the pain in the heart was greater. All you could think about was Jimin at that moment. Unable to keep your eyes open anymore, you closed them as your inner voice started speaking out loud what the heart wanted to say all along which your mouth couldn't.  

Will I see you again?

I'm lying here facing my fate.

Is this real or just a bad dream that we couldn't wake from?

You're so far away baby and I couldn't tell you... Not even once that I love you Park Jimin. You're a dream that'll disappear soon. I know I didn't hold onto you.. It was because I thought you'd come back to me. My Home! Your Home! I thought I'd see you again if I kept longing for you but I think I'm running out of time now. It's too late and all I have left to say is Goodbye. 

 Memories of you and Jimin flashed like a beautiful movie. Even though you were numb and felt your own blood under your pressed face, you smiled painfully and you squeezed your shut eyes seeing his face again. My Angel! 

Oh God! why did you show me such dreams.. when the reality is so broken. Wasn't I in enough pain that you gave me more? The only thing left in me are my breaths. have you really come to take them away too?

Suddenly you heard Jimin's sweet calming voice. He whispered the same things as he did once before when you were scared. You felt his warmth even though it was all in your head. One last time you were feeling him, seeing him and hearing him. Images of him of smiling, kissing and staring at you popped. Feeling your breathing slowing you listen to his voice.

'My baby.. It's ok.. you're ok.. Nothing happened... Everything will be fine.... It's ok.'

With that his voice, his face and everything else faded into the darkness and you entered it without any fear hoping to meet Jimin again someday.

FATEFUL (meaning) :- A Tragic Ending! 

Hi my loves.. We have finally reached the end of Fateful. It was definitely a mixed emotional ride. So Y/n met her tragic ending without even knowing that she was loved by Park Jimin the way she loved him as well. My heart breaks for them too!! I'm really sorry about this..But thankyou for all the love and support... And before you all come at me.. I would like to say I'm just Joking!!!! 😄😄😄❤❤❤ 

But this is definitely The End of Fateful!!! Don't be sad because Part 2 of this book is coming and I will be continuing it here in the same book! So you all will get the update as usual in a week. It's the New Year festival week for Us here in our country. So I'll be busy this week and return on Saturday!!!!
