It's been two weeks since you returned and you were hit with a truck load of work. There were so much of pending work that needed to be cleared and few shipments that needed approvals of Jimin and Hoseok. The beautiful dream holiday went in a flash and now you are back to reality.

Jimin was way too busier than you and you hardly saw him at work. Hoseok had been dragging him around on VIP client visits and factory visits. But he would always call you and check on you. Ever since you admitted your feelings, you see Jimin differently now. The feelings are more intense and every time he is with you those feelings would just magnify.

Even though what you have with Jimin keeps growing and you both keep getting closer and closer everyday, you didn't want him to find out how you feel because you knew he is unable to return it. You didn't want to scare him and stop this thing you have with him. He was too precious for you to loose now.

After work you shifted from one foot to another as you waited for Jungkook at the entrance of your work building. He is late! Where the hell is this idiot! You scolded him in your head as you waited. Because of the work load you were not able to meet Jungkook properly for a while, he kept throwing fits about it saying that you are ignoring and forgetting him. So you two made plans to meet up after work and go for dinner.

Waiting for another five more minutes you took out to call him. It rang and rang but that idiot didn't pick up. You were getting impatient and irritated. He very well knows that you don't like to wait and even though he has never done this before, the work stress is getting the best of you. You opened your messages and typed pressing your fingers hard against the phone.

You - Yaahh where the hell are you?

You - If you don't reply in 5 mins I'm leaving.

You - Yaaahhhhh... You ugly muscle pig bunny 

You - 🤬🤬🤬🔪🔪🔪

After waiting for almost an hour you decided to leave scolding and cursing Jungkook. You got in your car and started heading home. It was weird that he stood you up and didn't even pick your calls. He would never do that. Since you were feeling uneasy about it, you decided to call him again and this time he picked it up.

"Yahhh you idiot. Where the hell are you? How dare you stood me up after throwing tantrums like a girl for not making time for you. Do you even have any idea how busy I am these days. You should have at least called." You went on scolding not letting him speak. The line was way too silent and he was not talking back. So you stopped and listened.

"Kookie?" You called out and all you could hear was low heavy breathing. Getting worried you slowed down and pulled over on the side of the road.

"Jungkook? Can you hear me?" you ask

"Y/n... Am I t-too l-lat-"

"Oh my god are you ok? Why do you sound so sick?"

"A l-little." he says through heaving breathing.

"I'm coming over." You cut the line and hurried over to his place. You felt bad for scolding him because of the work stress you just got irritated. You should have known better because Jungkook would never do things like this without a reason.

Jungkook barely heard what you said as his brain was pounding hard against his skull. He was not feeling well, his body was paining and his throat felt dry. He got up and dragged himself to the kitchen to get a bottle of water and then went to the living room to get the first aid box. Clutching his head he sat down on the sofa and fumbled through the medicine box to fine some pain killers. Once he did, he immediately took them wanting the pain to go away and emptied the water bottle.

"Ahh.." he winced as the throbbing in his head got worse. He couldn't carry his weight to the bedroom so he lied on the sofa. He didn't know what time it was but he knew he needed to meet you today. 

Jungkook was missing you like crazy for the past few weeks. The feelings he has for you now keeps getting stronger and stronger. It's true that he has been in love with you for the past three years and didn't have the guts to say it because he was scared that he would loose the friendship and the bond you both have. So he tried his best to move on but lately it's so hard to keep it up.

He thought about how messed up the situation is and how he has got his feelings tangled up. After moving away he lost you to a jerk once so he was not going to loose you again. He was determined to show how he truly feels about you. He feels so relieved that he got to end things with Joy. She had been way too stubborn and obsessing over Jungkook. He had a hard time making her understand. He was a bit surprised when she easily agreed to go separate ways when they met last week to talk it out.

Jungkook closed his eyes to calm down as his head was still hurting. He shivered a little but then felt warm when images of you flashed behind his closed eyes. Even through this pain he couldn't help but smile seeing your angel eyes and beautiful face. The medicine kicked in his system and he started feeling drowsy.

When you got to Jungkook's place, you saw him passed out on his sofa. You hurried over to him and called his name softly but he was in deep slumber. You looked at the coffee table and noticed that he had taken some medicine. He looked a little pale so you rested the back of your hand to his forehead to check if he is having fever. Luckily he was not burning up, just a light fever. 

You let out a sigh feeling a little relieved and went into the kitchen to get some cold water along with a washcloth. Going back to Jungkook you sat on the edge looking down at him. His brows knitted together in his sleep as if he was in pain. For some reason it sank your heart. You always see him so strong and cheerful, so it hurts to see him in any sorts of pain. 

You slowly moved his strands of hair away from his forehead and placed the damn cloth on his forehead. Jungkook let out a low moan in his sleep at the contact of the coldness. So you gently caressed his face giving him some sort of comfort so that he won't wake up.

Seeing him shiver a little, you wanted to take him to his room but seeing how big he is, you knew you would break into two even before trying.  So Instead you went to his room to get his blanket and a pillow. You slowly lifted his head up and placed the pillow underneath before covering him up. You needed the check his temperature and change the cloth after 10 minutes so you sat opposite to him and took your phone out. It was past 6.30pm so you decided to text Jimin.

You - Hey, done with the meeting?

My Perv - Almost. How is the dinner going?

You - It got cancelled. JK is not feeling well so I came over to check on him.

My Perv - Oh. sorry about that.

You - It's fine. Just wanted to let you know that I will be staying here for a while. 

My Perv - Sure Princess. Just let me know when you get home.

You - Aye Aye  Mr. Park  😉

You smiled like an idiot staring at your phone. It was just a simple emoji but it fluttered your heart. Jimin was not much of an emoji fan, so it's always cute when he uses them. You scrolled through your phone constantly looking up at Jungkook to see if he is ok. Finally 10 minutes passed so you went over to him and crouched down near his head. You removed the cloth and placed your hand to check if the fever has gone down but as soon as your hand touched his skin, he quickly held your hand tight in his sleep.

"Kookie." you called out in a low voice and tried to remove your hand from him but the grip got tighter. His face looked pained and he let out a small whimper. So not wanting to wake him you let out a sigh and settled down on the floor next to him. You clasped your fingers around his big gentle hand and returned the hold. You watched his handsome face ease slowly finding comfort in your touch. He looks so pure and calm. You started thinking how he really grew into an amazing man and that made you so proud of him.

You always thought whoever Jungkook ends up will be the luckiest girl in this world. You have never seen such a flawless amazing soul. He is just so bright, caring and loving too. If you understood anything about love at least a little, it was because of Jungkook. He just spreads love to everyone around him. You rested your head next to his and decided to stay there for a while.

Suddenly feeling hot Jungkook shifted a little. He could feel something warm covering him so he lazily wrestled it with his foot and kicked it away from his body. He also felt something soft in his one hand. Jungkook slowly opened his eyes to see what it was and got surprised by your face so close to him.

Jungkook lifted himself a little and shook his head to see if he was dreaming but no, you were really here and your hand was in his. A smile tugged on his lips and his heart skipped a beat seeing you asleep so close to him after a long time. He remembered the times how you fell asleep in his arms after hours and hours of crying.

He was so used to you that he started missing you so much after you both parted ways to find your own careers. It was after that he realized that he was falling in love with you. Jungkook looked at your beautiful slender fingers resting in his palms and he felt a tug on his heart. With eyes never leaving your beautiful face, he leaned in and pressed his lips onto your fingers leaving a gentle deep kiss. 

You let out low muffled groans and shifted. Jungkook realized that you were going to wake up so he panicked and quickly lied back pretending to be asleep. Shit Jungkook! Why did you do that. He mentally groaned for doing this. His heart started pounding as he felt you move. He felt guilty but also good. You were hovering closely above him and he could feel it. He held his breath as he felt like he was going to explode if he continued pretending to be asleep when you are this close to him.

You looked down at Jungkook's face with a confused expression. You noticed that something was off. The paleness had gone and now he was turning a little red. You placed your hand on his forehead again to see if he is burning up but he seems completely fine. Then you noticed that he was not breathing so you lowered your face near his to confirm. You really couldn't feel him breathing but you could hear his loudly pounding heart.

When you looked at him Jungkook suddenly opened his eyes startling you. Fuck! you cursed as you lost your balance. Everything happened in a flash and the next thing you know, you are on top of Jungkook with your lips smacked against his.

Your eyes grew wider than Jungkook's big doe eyes. Your body was pressed against his and so were your lips. Coming back to your senses, immediately you pulled your lips away from him and placed your hands on his hard chest to push yourself up away from him. But Jungkook quickly held your hand and pulled you back towards him. His eyes dilated and his Adam's apple bobbed as he gulped. He was looking at you in a different way and it was giving you strange feelings.  

"Oh god not again. Take it to the room guys. I don't want to see you both lip locking with each other again." a deep amused voice boomed the quiet space making you jump back breaking free from Jungkook. 

You turned to see Jungkook's brother Junghyun standing at the entrance, staring at you two with a wide grin. Your cheeks turned red immediately realizing what he mentioned. 

"It's not what you think. It was an accident." you say in your defense and it was the truth.

"Oh yeah. like the last time?" he asked wiggling his brows trying to embarrass you and Jungkook.

"Oh god hyung.. it's been so many years now. Can't believe you are still hung up on it." Jungkook said finally getting up to sit next to you. His ears were red like your cheeks. What happened now did shock you but it was not something new. You and Jungkook were each others first kiss. It really didn't mean anything. You both were just Thirteen and curious as fuck seeing people eating each others faces in movies all the time. So one day the curiosity got the best of you both and gave it a go. It didn't even last 3 seconds as Junghyun walked in on you two at the same time you both got away from each other screaming EW. 

"Of course I am. I had to cleanse my innocent teen eyes back then." Junghyun teased coming towards you.

"Oh please, you were one hell of a curious kid too. And don't get me started on what I have seen on you." You teased and in no time all three of you started laughing talking about the incident.

"I remember you brushing your teeth off and you rinsing your mouth with warm salt water." he laughed pointing at you and Jungkook.

"Yeah. I remember her screaming germs.. germs on repeat." Jungkook nudged your hand as he laughed.

"You two were hilarious."  

You felt less awkward as Junghyun kept teasing and joking around with you and Jungkook. You really didn't give much thought to the accidental kiss earlier so everything was normal for you as you let it brush off. 

But it was not like that for Jungkook. He tried to tame his wildly beating heart because of your lips. Even though it was just a smack that lasted no more than a second, he still felt how soft your lips were against his. He wanted to grab you back and kiss you and confess to you how he feels but his idiotic brother walked in. 

Maybe next time! 

He thought looking at you with a big bunny smile plastered on his face.
