The beeping sounds of a machine and the stinging sensation on your hand made you uncomfortable as you were slowly waking up. Fluttering your eyes open, you were greeted by a white ceiling. You knew you were in a hospital but weirdly you didn't get the pungent smell of hospital disinfect. Instead your nostrils were filled by fresh sweet smell of scented candles. Also you noticed that you were not in an ordinary hospital bed. The one you were on was way too comfortable.

Blinking your eyes few times to get rid of the blurry vision, you lifted your head to see the surroundings. Your eyes widened to see yourself in a luxurious hospital room. Knowing whose doing is this, you groaned and rested your head back on the pillow.

Sighing you stared at the ceiling as your heart kick started. Jimin! A tear stung the corner of your eye as you were able to remember him. Not only that, finally you remembered everything. You have been waiting for this day eagerly and now you just wished that you didn't. You didn't know what to feel at the moment. There was too much anger and hurt in you.

You put two and two together and figured things out but what you didn't understand was what's Jimin doing. Last thing you remembered was that he was engaged to Aera. That pain is still fresh in your heart but you wondered why he was there in Singapore with you under a false identity. And what hurt the most was Jungkook's betrayal. 

 You did wanted answers to all of these and ask why they played with your vulnerability. But you were too scared. You feel emotionally and physically strained and you are not ready to face anything just yet. Plus you are too mad to face either one of them.

The door to the room opened startling you. You panicked a bit thinking that it was Jimin but to your relief it was just a nurse. "Oh ma'am you are finally awake. Let me call the doctor." She says with a bright smile and quickly goes out. It didn't even take two minutes the doctor and two other nurses entered in a rush as if they needed to attend you immediately.

"Ma'am it's so good to see you awake. May I  do some basic checks on you?" He asks for permission and you give a nod. The doctor gave a big smile and with the aid of the nurses he checked your vitals, temperature and some other few things.

"All seems to be good. How are you feeling now ma'am?" He asks and you frowned a bit because of the way they kept addressing you.

"Tired." You give a one word reply.

"I'm aware of your case and the conditions you are going through. Are you facing any difficulties remembering anything?"

"No. I remember everything now." You mumbled. "Everything came back before the black out." 

"That explains why it happened then. It's normal to feel tired. You just need some good rest. We can do some check ups later when you feel fit. Please take it easy and let us know if there is any kind of discomfort. These two well trained nurses are here to assist you." The doctor was being overly nice and it was all weird because you felt like they all were treating you like royalty or something. 

  "I'll inform Mr. Park about your condition. He will be happy about this." The doctor turned to one of the nurses and continued. "Where is her guardian? Please inform him as well." 

"Yes doctor. Right away." The nurse left right after the doctor and you looked up at the other nurse who came to tuck you in.

"Guardian?" You asked from her to confirm who it was.

"Mr. Jeon. He had been really worried. Him and Mr. Park had been constantly staying here for the past two days." she informed.

"Two days?" You ask in shock.

"Yes ma'am. You were unconscious for two days. Mr. Jeon was here earlier, I think he stepped out for some work. He will be here once he gets back. Till then you take a nap." She says and you tensed a bit. Oh god please no. I don't want to see any of them. 

"Um. can I know where my things are? I would like to use my phone." You say to her.

"Sure. Your bag and your clothes are in here." She shows you the things. Great! Now I can get out from here before Jungkook or Jimin comes. 

"Thanks. If you don't mind.. I would like to be alone for a while." You tell her giving her a small smile so that she wouldn't be suspicious.

"Sure. Please press this button if you need anything." She showed the call button and once again when you gave a nod she smiled and left you alone. Once she was out of the room, you got down from the bed and took your things to change. In that moment nothing else came to your mind other than getting out of there. Now that your memories are back, so was your stubborn nature twice as strong. 

You felt like you lived a different life the past two years like a total different person. But now having to remember both lives, you were itself not sure what you have become. But you were glad that you no longer felt like a lost weak person anymore. 

Once you got changed you peaked outside to see if the coast was clear. For heaven's sake you didn't even know where you were. You just had to figure it out once you were out. Seeing that the floor was clear with just two rooms you quickly stepped out. It was quiet out and when you looked up you noticed the 'VIP Ward' sign. No wonder it's so quiet and luxurious. 

You sighed in relief because due to privacy not many staff hangs around. Sneaking around as if you are playing Mission Impossible you somehow found a staircase to get away, so that you wouldn't come across any of the nurses or Jungkook or Jimin.   

After successfully getting out of the hospital you fled the area fast as possible. Stopping at a certain open area you looked around and knew exactly where you were. It was not too far from your home but still you didn't want to go there. You knew both the men would barge in there looking for you. And also you didn't feel comfortable going back in there as the mess reminded you of that horrible night. Kim Taehyung! A bastard who ruined everything for me.

Thinking what to do and where to go, you roamed around lost in your thoughts. Just for few days! Just to prep myself! You thought. It was already late in the day and you didn't even have enough money to stay in a hotel. Seoul stays are expensive and cheap once should be booked in advance. As you looked around you saw a sauna. It was very familiar because you have been there once long time ago. Thinking that it's a better option even to stay low, you decided to go in there.

Checking the rates you mentally did the calculations in your head. Since you are not here to use the facilities you are able to stay for three days max. You guessed that was more than enough for you to gather yourself in peace and checked in and changed into Sauna clothes after keeping your things in the locker. You didn't even bother taking your phone with you.

After getting into the common room you picked yourself a corner to be alone. Thankfully the place was not crowded, just very few people were around. Bringing up your knees you rested your folded arms on top of them and kept your head on it. As minutes passed you were lost in your thoughts, but you were interrupted by the lady you saw at the entrance counter.

"Excuse me ma'am. Are you Y/n?" She asked politely. 

"Yes. That's me." You furrowed your brows wondering what's up.

"Please come with me." She smiled and before you could even ask her why, she was already walking away. You got up and followed her out to the lobby. When you looked up as she bowed to someone, you froze on the spot. Jimin! The last person I want to see right now!

"A sauna? Seriously! Do you think this is funny. Why the hell did you runaway from the hospital when you are not even well." Jimin came at you. He was visibly very angry. His bossy and intimidating aura shined with the suit he was wearing. It's been so long since you've seen him like this.

"Why the hell would you care. And what the hell are you doing here?" You ask glaring back.

"I came to take you back obviously. Now go get changed. We are leaving." Jimin ordered.

"NO! I'm not going anywhere with you.. so leave me alone."

"Y/n! Now is not the time to be stubborn. Come with me.. right now."

"Can't you take a hint. I left the hospital because I don't want to be anywhere you liars. And why the hell are you so bothered. Don't you have a fiancé? no wait.. she must be your wife now. So just leave me the fuck alone and just go back to her." You stated firmly with a glare. Even though you were being all strong and unaffected on the outside. Seeing Jimin in front of you was killing you. Part of you wanted to jump and hug him and other part of you want to stay away because of the pain he brought you. You trusted him, you loved him with your all and in the end he just took someone else's hand in front of you. A tear stung your eyes and Jimin's features softened. Bringing his hands to his hips, he sighed looking at you.

"Look baby.. running away is not the solution. You may have gotten back your memories but I'm sure you don't know half of the things that happened. So please lets go and talk this out. Let us explain." He says softly this time. You were fazed for a second but you knew what you needed right now. You are not running away. You are just deeply hurt and you need a god damn break for yourself. 

"I don't want to hear it. Now please leave." You say firmly.

"I'm not leaving without you." Jimin insisted. Your jaw clenched as your hands turned into fist balls.

"Fine. Then enjoy standing there." You say and bolt back in leaving him just like that. Did he just call me baby earlier? Why is he being so fuzzy? And why should I even listen to him? Did he really think that it would be ok to mess around with me and try to keep me in his life even when he is engaged. Is this what he is up to? Is this what he meant by that he will never let me go and I will always be his.

It only took few minutes, you felt someone sit next to you. When you turned, your eyes almost popped out and your heart jumped. "What the hell are you doing here?" You whisper yelled quickly looking around to see if anyone is looking at your side.

"I told you. I won't go without you. If you are not coming with me, then I'm staying here with you." Jimin cocks a brow with a smug smile.

"Are you freaking crazy? How can you be in a place like this. What if someone recognizes you.. Please just leave and stop being dramatic." You scold him getting worried a little. The famous rich heir here in a sauna with a girl will not be a great headline.

"I don't care. My woman is a stubborn drama queen so it's natural for me to be dramatic as well." He didn't budge as he stubbornly sat next to you like a local wearing the sauna shorts, t-shirt and a towel around his neck.

"I bet she is, why don't you just go back to her without wasting your time here." You hiss and Jimin gives you an annoyed glare.

"Y/n why would y-"

"You know what. Do whatever you want. I don't care." You cut him off and got up to go to another corner. But as you settled down Jimin invaded that space as well. Getting annoyed you got up again and went to another place getting a little attention from the people around.

Jimin sighed and followed again. You rolled your eyes at him and tried to get up again but Jimin held you down. "Which part of leave me alone you don't understand Jimin?" You snapped but quickly covered your mouth noticing the people around.

"I told you. I'm not leaving you." 

"And I told you I'm not coming with you."

"Fine. Then at least listen to me please." Jimin pleaded.

"Why are you doing this? Where is your wife? Does she know that you are here calling me names and trying to take me with you?" You glared. Your insides were boiling and you didn't know what you were mad at more. The fact that he gave you so many promises and got engaged to someone else or the fact that he pretended to be someone else and lied to your face.

"Y/n you gotta stop with your nonsense right now." Jimin clenched his jaw and tightened his grip around your arm. "First of all I don't have a fucking wife.. I never got married nor engaged. I was played and if you calmed your stubborn ass down and listened for just one second you would know the damn truth. But you have to run away just like that. Just like you always did and made assumptions on your own. If you had one ounce of trust in me and believed in us.. the wife you keep on asking about would be you right now and non of this would have happened." Jimin snapped back. His words hit you hard and you both just glared at each other as the tension kept growing.

"Excuse me Miss.. are you ok? Is this man bothering you?" One old lady asked walking over to you and Jimin. He sighed and his grip on you loosened. You looked up at the lady and just gave her a soft smile.

"Yes ma'am everything is fine. We are just having a disagreement on something." You say scooting closer to Jimin because no matter what you didn't want anything bad on his image and you didn't want to get anyone's attention.

"Oh! A lovers quarrel." The lady chuckled. "Sorry for being nosy.. I thought this man is bothering you." You just smiled and thanked her for her concern and waited for her to go back before turning to Jimin.

"Look what just happened. People are going to look at us in a weird way if you don't cut this out. What if someone recognizes you and put up a picture." You say being serious.

"Y/n..do you think I care about those right now? I'm out here trying to clear all these misunderstandings because I want you to know the truth." Jimin ran a hand through his hair feeling frustrated.

 "Remember when we went on a date in Singapore. You told me that if that person really loved me then she would have given me a chance to explain. So that is exactly what I'm doing now. Will you give me the chance to explain?" Jimin asked as he reminded you of your own words. The mention of the date made your heart ache more. You spent it with him without even knowing that he was the love of your life.. But at the end, still you fell in love with him all over again. You remembered the conversation well. Wait! Does that mean the girl Jimin love and the girl he kept talking about was me? Then what about that ring and the announcement.

"So you never got engaged to Aera?" You ask raising a brow. Jimin's face relaxed seeing that you are finally asking about it.

"No. Never. She had lied to her dad saying that I proposed and he had spoken to my dad and made this announcement without me knowing. Trust me I had no idea about any of it till they announced it during the event. I left the event the next second and threw a fit. I found out that she had been lying the whole time and realized that she saw that as an opportunity to get back with me. But I didn't want her. I didn't want anyone else.. because for me it's only you. I was about to leave everything and come to you, I swear. I wanted out of the company as well but then my dad collapsed again and it was serious. I lost my mind and I blamed myself thinking if something was to happen to him, it would be my fault." Jimin looked at you with hurt filled eyes that was full of regret. He wanted you to believe him as he continued. "And when I calmed down enough to call you, you never picked up. You sent me a text asking for some space and I gave it to you. And I never regretted anything more than that."

"What text? I never sent you a text. In fact I was staring at the phone every passing second hoping that you would call and explain things to me and tell me that it was not true. But you never did Jimin." You removed yourself from his grasp and folded your arms in front of your chest.

"What are you saying.. you clearly sent me the message he took out his phone from his short pocket. You couldn't believe that he still kept your messages. You frowned when you saw it. "But I never sent it to yo-" You stopped as realization hit you. There was only one person who would do something like this and it was Jungkook.

Your silence and your pained face didn't go unnoticed by Jimin. It didn't take him long to realize what happened. Jimin locked the phone and tucked it away looking at you with worried eyes. As always his heart felt almost everything you felt. He could see how hurt you are. He is not gonna lie, he is so happy that your memories returned. When the doctor called him up and gave the news he was over the moon. He came running to see you but he met a very troubled Jungkook. 

When Jimin found you collapsed and took you to the hospital, he informed Jungkook knowing that he would be worried. Past two days they made small conversations so Jimin clearly understood why Jungkook did that. Jimin was surprised when Jungkook apologized out of nowhere but Jimin saw that it was not easy for Jungkook.

"It's not his fault you know." You heard Jimin but you remained staring at the floor.

"I know right now you don't want to see any of us and you probably think we lied to you and took advantage of your vulnerability.. but it's not true. We were just scared because of your condition. You had so many complications and one trigger was enough to put you back to sleep causing you immense pain. Non of us wanted that." Jimin spoke out softly.

"I know what Jungkook did was wrong and all. But I don't blame him completely. He loves you a lot and he was protecting you from getting hurt any further. After the accident he must have freaked out. I know how strong your bond is with him and how much you care for each other. You literally threw yourself to save him. That guilt was eating him up too. I don't know what happened between you and him. But if you were in his shoes I'm sure you would have done whatever it took to save him. And that's what he did. In that moment he kept quiet because for him what mattered was you, not the fact that he was right or wrong." Jimin tried his best to make you understand. 

He slowly took your hand in his to get your attention. Like he expected you looked at him with tears filled eyes. His heart pained to see them but Jimin knew that he had to do something to fix this. He knew that you would break without Jungkook in your life. So he wanted to make sure that you won't hate him.

"Besides everyone makes mistakes. At some point we all do things that we would end up regretting. We get consumed by wrong things in life. You and I both know that very well." He wipes a tear. His gaze on you made it hard for you to ignore what he is saying. Everything that he was saying was hitting you hard. "No one in this world is perfect because we are humans. And as humans we can accept mistakes and forgive. So I hope you would give Jungkook a chance to explain himself. No matter what.. he didn't let you go and he took care of you. It must have been hard on him too."

You couldn't help but think about your fight with Jungkook in that moment. When you confronted him, he cried so much and he said how hard it was for him and how scared he was. If I were to switch places would I do the same thing? You asked yourself. 

Pulling your hand away from Jimin, you turned away and pulled your legs up together to hug them. You rested your head against your knees and closed your eyes to feel the silence for few minutes. You took a deep breath trying to think things over but with Jimin next to it was hard. You straightened up and turned to him once again.

"Look Jimin. I know that you are worried about be right now and you want to explain things further. But now is not the time. I need you to understand that all of these are so overwhelming. Many years of lost memories came back to me at once and it feels like I've been hit by a truck. I'm trying to put everything into place in my head. And over all I'm deeply hurt. My head is throbbing and my heart is aching so much. So please.. I really want to be alone. I promise I'm not running away. I just want some time for myself. Please respect that." You say in a desperate voice without looking away from him so that he knew how much you wanted this. Jimin stared at you with serious eyes for few seconds as if he was studying you. Then he lets out a sigh.

"Fine. I'll go but don't stay here. Just go back home, I had everything cleaned for you." He says finally giving up.

"Thanks. I'll think about it." You say to him.

"Give me a call if something happens. And please don't run away." He said being serious.

"I won't. I promise. Just give me some space." You tell him and he gives a nod.

"Thank you." You feel grateful that he still listens to you and knows when you mean something. He looks at you with deep thoughts and then hold your face gently to place a kiss on your forehead. Your heart warmed by his gesture. 

"Come back when you are ready. I will be waiting." He tells you and when you give a nod, he smiles sadly and leaves you be. You sigh out loud and lie in the corner thinking things through. 

Few minutes later after Jimin left, the lady from earlier came back in looking around. Once she spotted you, she walked towards you with a smile. She placed a tray down with a cup of ramen, boiled eggs, fruits and a drink. 

"This is for you dear. You should eat well when you are in a place like this. Don't worry, everything is paid for and let me know if you need anything else." She gave you a big smile. You knew this was all Jimin's doings and this lady has nothing to do with this so you just returned the smile and thanked her.

"And also.. the young man asked me to give this to you." She extended a very familiar book. It was your diary. The one from two years ago.

You ran your handover it with a heavy heart knowing that it was filled with your precious memories. After the lady left, You took few bites from the food as you were hungry and then opened the diary to go through it. Your heart stung as a photo of you and Jimin greeted you on the first page. You had no memory of pasting it on your diary, so you wondered where it came from. Did Jimin do this? 

One by one you flipped through the pages. Tears pooled in your eyes as the sweet moments shared with him refreshed in your head. You smiled at the small piece of paper with your fingerprints on it. As you turned to your last entry, your heart stopped for a second. It was the one you wrote thinking that you were loosing Jimin.

Your gaze fell on the few lines below your note and it was not written by you. You recognized the hand writing and it was Jimin's. Your inside clenched as you read what he had written. It was actually a reply for you.

' Princess, If you come back to me I will give you more than one kiss. I will shower you with them till you are out of breath.

I will definitely have my every meal with you for the rest of my life and make you full and happy. And we will never part ways again.

And in between those meals, I promise to make love to you and write our happily ever after together with you.

I love you too Y/n.. I love you so much that sometimes I could even die.. and it's my fault I never told you how I felt. I was waiting for the right moment. But it never came and you went away from me. I can't go on without you. So please come back to me. Please comeback HOME, my love.'

Then there was another entry not too long ago. Reading that tears pricked your eyes.

' My Love.. Even if the fates unraveled our destiny. I would find a way back to you. Just like how I promised. Please wait for me!'

He loved me? Jimin was in love with me all along? You hugged the book to your chest and sniffled feeling mix of emotions. You knew that Jimin was right, it's now or never. So you just have to face them. Waiting for the right time could be disastrous. You looked up at the big clock hung on the wall and the time read 7. 12pm.

Seeing that it was not that late, you decided to go back to your house since Jimin said he had it cleaned. After all staying here was not that comfortable and you needed to think of a way to approach Jungkook. Jimin was right, You can't live without Jungkook and yes this is the first time he did something to hurt you. 

You always knew how protective Jungkook was of you ever since you were kids. It got worse after the incident at the college. So you understood his nature to protect you and to hate Jimin. It was partially your fault because you hid things from him. You never cleared Jimin's name and after this incident with Aera things went south.

And also you understood that he got selfish because of mixed feelings he had towards you. At first you thought that Jungkook was in love with you as a partner but down the line you were very confused with his behavior and now with your memories back, you realized the depths of things that June told you once. I should really talk things out with Jungkook. Even though it's gonna hurt. I will have to face him.. but not right now. Maybe tomorrow or the day after.

You thought as you started walking back to your house. The sky was way too dark and the breeze was cold and heavy. It seemed like it was going to rain. But you didn't care as you took your time. By the time you reached your house, you were a little wet because it was raining lightly. You were too lost in your thoughts that you didn't even notice the person seated on the steps waiting for you.

"Y/n.." His deep pained voice called out your name and you froze knowing who it was. You looked up and started panicking. Even though you wanted to talk to him but you weren't ready yet. And now seeing him all of a sudden you were lost of words and pain hit you hard.

"Oh god Y/n.." He reached out to you with his worried doe eyes locked on you. You quickly stepped back and before he could get to you, you turned and started walking away from him.

You speed up your pace up the stairs to the bridge which would led you to a open park. But before you could get there, you tripped over knocking your own foot against the other and fell to the ground when you heard Jungkook's voice right behind you.

"Y/n are you ok? I knew this would happen." Jungkook crouched down to quickly help you up but you pushed away his hands.

"Get lost." You scolded and backed away as you sat on the floor. Your ankle was hurting but more than that, seeing Jungkook hurt you more.

"Precious please.. can we just talk. Please.." Jungkook pleaded trying to touch you again but you swat his hand away.

"Go away Jungkook. I- I..just.." You sigh giving in. You wanted to snap at him and scold him and hurt him but your heart didn't allow it. 

"I'll leave you alone for good if that's what you want.. but let me get this out of my chest." He says and changes his posture as he get on his knees. You looked away unable to look at him. Never in your life you thought you would see Jungkook on his knees because of you. The mere thought itself was so painful. You wanted to jump at him and cry but you held up everything as much as you could in that moment. Taking your silence in Jungkook spoke in his broken voice.

" Please don't hate me Precious. I'll die." Hearing that was enough to break the dam you were building.

" I don't hate you Jungkook.. I'm just hurt and disappointed." You say through pain finally looking at him. "All this time, I was doing everything I can to make us work.. feeling bad about everything and feeling miserable on the inside without knowing the damn truth because you hid it from me." You snap.

"Y/n.. I know what I did was unforgivable and wrong. I really shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have lied and forced you to love me but I swear I didn't mean things to turn out this way. At first I was just helpless. All I thought about was saving you and protecting you. So when you thought I was the one in your memories and started calming down, I just went with it because I didn't want to risk anything. Trust me I did feel terrible but I was helpless." Jungkook was desperate as he continued.

"As time went by when you started smiling at me in a different way and started getting close to me.. I got selfish. Even though I knew the feelings you were having didn't belong to me, I still wanted them. I thought it's the second chance to have you. I was so blinded by having you that I didn't consider your feelings. I thought loving you and treating you right would be enough to make you happy. but I was wrong... when Jimin showed up I saw the love he has for you and the things he does for you. I started questioning myself. I became more selfish. I thought I could make it work. Then people around me kept saying things and messing up with my head.. And then without me knowing I neglected you. I failed you.. I really wanted us to work.." He says taking your hand in his and you let him.

"I promise I wanted to tell you the truth. That's why I had us move back to Seoul. I was going to tell you everything and ask for forgiveness. Please believe me. I didn't mean to deceive you. These feelings I'm having are so confusing. And more than anything I miss the old us.. I missed the time we spent happy together and sharing everything. I thought us being together would make us more strong but I was wrong." Jungkook let his head fall unable to face you. You understood why he is like this. Jungkook is just confused and you wanted him to see why it didn't work.

"Jungkook.. it didn't work because we are not in love with each other." You say trying to be calm as he looked at you with offended eyes.

"Maybe not you but I do love you Y/n. You are my everything and no one can tell me otherwise." He states firmly as he tried not to cry because everything was hurting.

"I know Jungkook. I'm not saying that you don't love me because I know that you do. And I freaking love you too. I love you so much and you are literally my everything and my world. Without you I'm no one. But Kook.. we don't love each other in a romantic way. I know for a fact that you don't feel that type of love towards me as well." You tried to make him understand.

"What are you saying? How would you know.. and why would I feel these things. I know for a fact that you are not an ordinary girl or just a friend to me. You are so much more." He says and you grab both his hands and sit on your knees as well getting his full attention.

"I know Kook. We are one remember. And yes we are much more.. I agree. We have a special bond that is beyond just friendship and just family. I really can't give a title to it because it's a mix of both. Once someone told me that not every love in this world needs to be romantic. We could always love each other, care for each other and protect each other. But that doesn't mean that this kind of love is any less than the romantic kind of love we see. It all depends on the bond we share. And trust me what we have is deeper than anything but there are some limits that we can't cross. Just be honest to yourself and think things through.. you might see it for yourself. Maybe not now but one day when you find that special someone, you will know the difference. Trust me on this." You tell him more confidently because you know it way too well. You know it because you have already found yours.  

 Jungkook was having a hard time because of the things you just said. His heart was hurting but he knew it was the truth. There were limits that Jungkook could go when it came to you. And this was not the first time he is hearing something like this. He always doubted his feelings and decisions but now it's all becoming clear. 

He couldn't believe that he finally reached to this point. This wasn't what he planned for because he had hopes for you and him. But now everything you both have built has crumbled in to dust. It was not easy to let you go. But he knew he had to because he wants nothing more than your forgiveness and your happiness.

"I understand. I should have known better. This is all my fault. I messed up things and I made everyone miserable. I'm sorry Y/n. If you can.. please forgive me." His voice cracked and his now short hair was sticking down his forehead as it was getting slightly wet because of the rain. He was hurting and it pained you to see him.

"I understand if you don't want to see me ever again. Let me take you home and like I promised I will leave you alone. I jus-"   

You didn't let him finish as you threw yourself at him and wrapped your arms around him. Your heart had already forgiven him. You were just hurt and angry when you lashed out earlier. But now you want nothing more but to go back to how you were before the mess happened. You wanted your Kookie back. You wanted your best friend back. You wanted your soulmate back. But you didn't know if it was possible now. But you are going to try to make it work.

"Does this mean you forgive me?" He asks and you just give a nod. Jungkook exhales in relief and hugged you back burying his face against the crook of your neck. The major burden of his heart lifted and he felt like he could breathe.

The rain was getting heavy so Jungkook pulled away and looked at you with eyes that held so many emotions that you could barely read. But they were deep and it made your heart twitch.

"It's raining. Lets go back to your house or else you will get sick." He says and helped you up giving you a soft sad smile. You tried to take a step but your leg felt numb. Without another word Jungkook crouched down and offered his back.

"Come on shorty. Hurry up this might be the last piggy back I would ever give you." He says hiding his real emotions with a soft smile. You bit your lips as tears stung your eyes. You realized he wasn't ok and neither were you.

You wanted to protest against it saying you would hop on his back whenever you could and this is not going to be the last time. But your heart was pounding thinking that he was trying to walk away again just like two years ago. You wanted to be selfish but you wanted to consider his feelings. Without a word you got onto his back and wrapped your arms around him. Effortlessly he picked you up and started walking back.

It was quiet except for the sound of the rain hitting the ground. A whimper escaped your lips as tears rolled down your cheeks. You covered your mouth quickly because you didn't want Jungkook to hear you cry. You were glad that it was raining, so you raised your face towards the sky to cry with the rain. Is it really the end for us? Will Jungkook leave me. How am I even going to live without him after going through this much with him. No matter how much it hurt, you didn't want Jungkook to see your pain because he will feel guilty. And right now he deserves some space. If he wants to leave you again to make up his mind, you wanted to respect it. 

But little did you know, Jungkook was also secretly crying while hiding his tears in the rain. He thought that this was the end of you and him. He thought you would throw him out of your life and never look at him ever again. It pained to even think of it. He was so scared all this time and now that he knew that you forgave him, he couldn't hold back his emotions. He knew that things are going to be different and you were going to move on with your life. But that didn't matter anymore as long as you are happy and as long as you don't hate him.

The truth is he didn't care if you were his romantic partner or not. What he cared about was the bond between you and him. What he cared about was you. He just wants you in his life like you always have been there. When he lost touch with you for a while he missed you like crazy that he thought that it was a love that needed a label. And he was wrong to think being in a relationship could keep you with him. Right now, after everything.. he just prefers loving you without labels and accepting what he could be with you together. It didn't matter as long as he could be with you spending the time happily just like the old times.

As he carried you to the door step, he pull out the keys from his pocket. He had the keys all along and you realized that he must have taken it when you collapsed or something. Opening the door with you still on his back, he switched on the lights.

"Can you stand?" He asked and when you gave a nod he placed you down carefully. He quickly turned away from you but you didn't fail to notice his red nose. So you held him by his shoulders and turned him towards you. The moment you saw his red eyes and puffy nose you burst out crying again and he followed with his lips turned down.

"Why are you crying?" You ask loudly like a kid who cannot control her emotions and who want to throw a fit.

"Because you are crying." He replied as you both wiped off each others face.

"Don't lie. Tell me why are you crying." You demand stubbornly giving him an angry pout. 

"Because.. Because I thought I lost you. I thought you will hate me forever and leave me." He says looking at you like a sad bunny which melted your heart. In that moment you knew that he had no intentions of leaving you. Hint of relief and happiness took over you.

"Idiot.." You squeezed his cheek as you were wiping his face with your hand. "You know that I will never leave you. How could you even think of that.. when I have promised you many times before." You say smiling a little.

"Promise?" He asks again to confirm while sniffling.

"I promise. I will never leave you and I'll stick with you even after I turn into a ghost." You say just to prove a point and then there was silence. Jungkook hiccupped through a sob as he was calming down and looked at you like a kid. "But that will be scary." He pouts and you hit him playfully as giggles escaped through your soft sobs.

 "Suck it up. Promise is a promise. Maybe I'll be like that ghost from the shutter movie who kept sitting on the guy's shoulder. Like that I'll cling to you and you could keep giving me piggy back even after death." You played along to make him laugh and just like you expected he did.

You both looked at each other with so much warmth and so much love in your eyes for each other. No matter what happens. Nothing in this world could break what you have with Jungkook.  It sure was a mess when Jungkook got his feelings mixed up not knowing where to stand. But right now, when you looked at each other, you both knew exactly were you stood and what purpose you have for each other in life.

"Come here." You say opening your arms knowing that even he wanted nothing else but assurance that everything was fine. Flashing a happy bunny smile he took you in his embrace and hugged you tightly. Finally you both felt free and happy with every beating beat in your hearts.

Hey my loves... I'm sorry for the late update. I was having a terrible writers block. I was finding it hard to get through this chapter. It's nothing like i expected. I'm not very happy about this but I'm glad I put an end to this misery. Anyways.... take care guys!!! ❤❤❤
