"What? No. I don't want to do it." Jimin declined feeling annoyed as he stared at Wang.

"Why not? It's not like I can do this alone. You are the fucking head of us all. Without your inspection and approval we cannot go further with the project. This is in our best interest right now." Wang was getting more irritated with Jimin as he declines everything that Wang suggests. 

"You mean it's in.. Your.. best interest." Jimin replies in a mocking tone. Wang scoffs in disbelieve and turns to look at Hoseok.

"What the fuck is wrong with him?" Wang asks seeing Jimin all bitter ever since he stepped into the Singapore Office. Hoseok sighs shaking his head.

"Don't mind him. He is just... not in his best mood these days. We will approve this after Jimin inspects the place." Hoseok says after taking a good look at the new business proposal.

"Me? No fucking way I'm staying here for another two days and look into this. I have things to do." Jimin shakes his head against it.

"Like what? Get wasted at home. Or  go in search of-" Hoseok paused when Jimin gave him a warning glare. Sighing he looked at Jimin seriously. "Jimin this is a really good proposal. Don't let your personal anger with Wang get mix up with this. We came here for work."

"Oh come on man. Are you still worked up on that crap that happened years ago. I said I didn't think that far. She was casually asking me about you so I was just answering her." Wang leaned backed on his chair, closing the file in front of him before looking up at Jimin.

Even though it was intentional or not Jimin never liked Wang. Specially after the last encounter he had with him. When Jimin got mad at him and shouted last year asking why he was spying and giving information to Aera. Wang was dumbfounded, he said they were just casually talking. Jimin really didn't have anything to do back in Busan. He was suppose to shift to the Seoul Office and take over his dad's position but he keeps pushing it off. Thinking occupying in these  kind of projects will delay the shift further he thought of accepting it.

"Whatever. Two days only." Jimin said playing with the pen in his hand. He saw them sigh in relief when he finally agreed.

"Ok. Keep Lee with you and get things done. I'll be going back tonight and please don't fight." Hoseok says looking back and forth between Jimin and Wang. Jimin rolled his eyes and Wang raised both his hands to show that he won't even think of it. 

"Now lets go to the other meeting. We don't want to keep Mr. Shou waiting. He is crankier than this ass here." Wang said getting up to go. Scowling at him Jimin got up first and stormed out before them.

"Mr. Park, Wait!" Lee quickly grabbed his things and hurried out to follow him. Hoseok watched Lee struggle to keep up with Jimin and he feels bad for Lee. But Lee genuinely likes working for Jimin and says he can handle it.

"Is he on periods or something?" Wang asks unable to figure out Jimin's temper.

"Something like that." Hoseok says and then they both chuckled before heading out to the next meeting.

Two days passed and as promise Jimin was doing his inspection at the last place that was on the list before giving his approval to continue with the project. Wang had been annoying Jimin the past few days, so he avoided going to the office and stayed out much as possible. Wang was not being rude but he was being strangely friendly trying to get on Jimin's good side just like the old times when they were friends but Jimin just kept ignoring him. He didn't want to do anything with anyone. 

"Mr. Park please wear these mask as the next area of this place will be covered with wood particles." The owner handed over face masks to Jimin and Lee before entering.

After rounding up the place and checking all the documents and the data reports Jimin was satisfied with the place and the small business he was at. Looking up at Lee Jimin gave a nod in approval. Lee quickly marks the notes and sends the final draft to Hoseok and Wang. 

"Well then Mr. Chan we will take our leave now." Jimin bows to the old man with a hand shake.

"Thankyou for the opportunity Mr. Park. We will do our best. " He says smiling softly at Jimin.

"I know you will. Take care then." Jimin gives a small smile and look at Lee to inform him that he is ready to go. Once they were out on the busy street Jimin looked around a little.

"Sir I'll bring the car. It's parked down that road. Please wait here." Lee informs and leaves when Jimin gives a nod. Jimin looks at the massive number of cafes and shops lined up on both sides of roads and how every shop is filled with locals and tourists. Investing in this selected shop will be a good idea after all.

The flower shop next to him got his attention. His eyes landed on beautiful red roses and they instantly reminded him of you. The emptiness he felt without you ached his heart. His eyes immediately closed for a second as images of you flashed behind his closed eyes. Your giggles and your eyes, he miss them.  

The feeling and the images disappeared when he was knocked by someone. Jimin quickly opened his eyes and looked to see a girl trying to pass by hurriedly.

Jimin felt like the time stopped in that moment when two soft brown eyes looked up at him for a brief second. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. His heart started to race in a painful way. He was in state of shock. Is this real? He thought he was dreaming as he dumbfoundedly stared at the beautiful girl. Tears formed his eyes as he parted his lips to say something. 

"Sorry." An apology left her mouth and everything happened so fast that Jimin was too frozen to move or say anything.

"Taxi!" The girl shouted and quickly ran to get into one.

No..No...No!

Finally coming to senses, Jimin tried to run behind her as he pushed past people. "Wait!" he shouted as he hurried but he was too late. The taxi was leaving. Thankfully Lee pulled over in front of Jimin. Before Lee could get down and get the door for him, Jimin quickly rushed in.

"LEE FOLLOW THAT CAB. HURRY!" Jimin ordered in a high pitched voice. His heart was pounding and he was still having doubts of what he saw.

"Sir?" Lee was confused.

"Hurry up Lee. Follow that damn car." Jimin growled getting impatient as he pointed at the white car.

Lee hurried to do what he was told, He quickly drove past vehicles to get in the same track as the car.

"Lee you have to hurry. We cannot miss it... It's her..I'm sure of it this time." Jimin's voice cracked and his vision got blurred a little by his tears. 

"It's her.. It's...It's My Y/n." he murmurs to himself. 

He couldn't control nor understand what he was feeling at the moment. His heart was clenching and it was scaring him. He didn't understand why you just walked past him and then he realized he was still wearing the mask. FUCK! he angrily ripped it off from his face. 

Please god let that be her and not an illusion, please! 

Jimin pleaded as he kept following the car. At a certain turn they missed it. They couldn't figure out which way the cab went. "Fuck! Where did it go?" Jimin yelled looking from left to right.

"I'm sorry sir. Should we take the right?" Lee asked.

"No take the left. And step on it. " Jimin orders going with his gut instinct.  

They drove down the road looking from left to right. Jimin felt like his heart was about to explode in his chest. With everything he had he prayed for help from the inside. He was trying his best to hold it together.

"There. That's the cab." Lee announces pointing at the cab coming towards them.

"Stop the car." Jimin says and quickly gets down to stop the cab. He was impatient and acting out like a maniac. Lee was surprised by Jimin's sudden panicked behavior. It was like he was loosing his mind and Lee has never seen Jimin like this.

"Mister. The lady you just took here. Please tell me where did you drop her." Jimin ask in a pleading voice. The cab driver looked up at Jimin and he was not sure if he should tell him or not.

"Please Mister. I need to know.. it's important. I'll give you anything please. I just want to see if it's her." Jimin was beyond desperate and he didn't care how he looked. Seeing his state the cab driver understood that it was a matter of heart.

"The last house down this road." The cab driver said giving a little nod.

"Thankyou so much!" Jimin huffed and before he could say anything the cab driver drove off. Knowing where you are, Jimin quickly got in and ordered Lee to drive giving instructions.

Millions of thoughts were running his mind and Jimin couldn't hold himself in one place. He was anxious and his wildly beating heart was making him want to act out. He found you! He finally found you.. He have high hopes that it's you that he saw without a doubt. He didn't know what you were doing here but that made sense why he couldn't find you back in Korea. 

As he got down in front of a big open house with a big garden, He couldn't contain himself anymore. He was going through almost every emotion but mostly fear. Fear that it maybe not you and fear of how you would react knowing that he unintentionally hurt you. Taking slow steps towards the door Jimin felt like he was getting back his soul. Hopes clutched his heart as he rang the bell.

Calm down Jimin! Calm down!

Jimin held his breath as the door finally opened. A gasp left his lips as you stood infront of him. His lips quivered and tears escaped feeling relieved and happy to finally find you.

"Y/n." he breathes your name more to himself as he stared at your beautiful face. Finally feeling alive he instantly crashes you into his arms. He felt you stiffen as you held your breath. He could feel your heart beating fast as his. "Baby.. Oh my god. I missed you so much." He let hot tears fall onto your shoulder as he hugged you tightly.

"Let me go." You quickly pushed him away from you. Jimin stumbled back a little with his eyes growing wide to your sudden rejection. You looked at him with furrowed eyes. And his heart pained when you pushed him away but he understands that you are mad.

"Baby please don't be mad. Listen to me. Give me a chance." Jimin wiped his eyes and took another step towards you. 

"Stop right there." You put out a hand in front of him and looked at him properly. "Do I know you?" You ask with a confused expression. Jimin let out a sigh not wanting to put up with the same act you put out years back in order to avoid him.

"Please baby don't play that trick again. It's not funny anymore. Why did you leave me like that?" Jimin tries to take a step closer but you quickly step back.

"What are you talking about? Who are you?" You ask looking completely clueless but he noticed tears in your eyes as you stared at him. Jimin just wanted to hug you and explain things to you and take you back with him. You are his life and he cannot live without you. He would do anything just to have you back but right now you are pretending as if you don't know him and making things hard. 

"Babe... Who is it?" Jimin's head shot up to look behind you when he heard a male voice. Babe? Did I just hear it right?  Anger and confusion both clouded Jimin as the tall well built man came forward into the view.

"Jungkook." Jimin's voice came out bitterly as he saw him. Jungkook's eyes widened as fear and panic consumed him. He quickly pulled you inside in a protective manner and shut the door harshly on Jimin's face. 

Jimin got triggered at that, he was mad enough to smash things or strangle someone. He didn't know what was going on and he wanted answers. Jimin started banging on the door hard with his fist. 

"Open up Jeon! I'm not going anywhere." He yelled and before Jimin could hit the door again, it opened and Jungkook stepped out closing the door behind him.

"Where is Y/n? Let me talk to her." Jimin tried to get to the door but Jungkook stopped him by blocking him from taking a step any further.

"GET. OUT. OF. MY. WAY." Jimin said through gritted teeth.

"No. You can't see her anymore. So leave." Jungkook said firmly fixing his serious gaze on Jimin.

"Who are you to stop me. I'm not leaving her when I finally found her. So let me talk to her." Jimin glared.

"I'm her boyfriend now and she is with me. So I have every right to stop you from making a scene here at my house, I can have you arrested. So leave."

Jimin felt like his heart got fully ripped out and someone was just burning him alive. He wanted to collapse to the floor as he refused to believe what he heard. Jungkook is your boyfriend? It's really over? Should I give up and just go? Tears started pooling in his eyes once again. His legs buckled up feeling weak as he tried not to choke on his tears. This was too painful and he did not expect this. He didn't think that you would move on from him so fast and living a life of your own when he was suffering and searching for you like a crazy person. 

"Just let me talk to her once. I need to clear somethings out. Please." Jimin said sounding desperate. Jungkook gulped but then he thought of the state you were in and sighed.

"Look man, there is nothing to explain. She knows everything and she is just not interested anymore. Y/n moved on and she doesn't want to see you again. You have done enough. Your world and her world cannot mix together and she understands that because it only brought her pain. She is finally happy now and living her life. So please leave us alone. Let the bygones be bygones." Jungkook said calmly trying to make Jimin understand.

"B-But..." Jimin was out of words. He didn't know what to say anymore as he was processing what Jungkook just said to him.

"And also please don't come back. We moved here because she wanted to be far away as possible from you. She is really happy here with family and friends. She is finally having a life. Don't mess this up for us.. for her. I don't want her to pack up and leave again. You are nothing but her past and I'm her present. I hope you can understand." 

Shakily Jimin takes few steps back like a helpless defeated person who lost everything in his life. The emptiness and the pain returned in greater amount than before. At least you are happy. He thought realizing it's no point staying here. If you ever cared you would've at least come out and talked. But you pretended not to know him just like few years ago. Trying not to choke he looked up at Jungkook and gave a small tight smile. Mustering all the courage Jimin finally accepted his reality.

"T-Take care of her." Jimin's voice came out in a low painful tone. Jungkook felt bad for Jimin and gave a nod in assurance that he will always take care of you and opened the door to go inside his house.

Feeling dead inside Jimin walked back to the car. Lee quickly got out and opened the door for Jimin. Before getting in Jimin looked up at the house for one last time and his breath stopped when he saw you by the window looking at him with a confused expression. 

Your eyes locked with his but something felt very different. It was like you were looking at a stranger and that hurt him more. The closure, the love and caring that you had in your eyes when you used to look at him was all gone.

Jimin's hands turned into a tight fists as he watched you turn and walk towards another man's arms who wasn't him. He felt like thousands of stabs to his body witnessing your smile for another man. Making up his mind, Jimin got inside and drove away leaving his happiness and his heart with you forever.

You were pacing your room trying to calm your rapidly beating heart. It has been acting out weird ever since that man hugged you and called you baby. You didn't know why but you felt like crying at that moment. It's like your heart was trying to tell you something but you didn't know what. 

That man, he felt so familiar. Do I know him? Why did I feel like he is important. You placed your hand on top of your chest and went to lean against the window. Why did he hug me like he knows me? Why did Jungkook ask me to stay inside and not to come out? As you were questioning yourself, you saw that man walking away. He looked well off in his luxurious designers and expensive car. There is no way I would know someone like him. And his face, His face is too handsome to forget easily. 

Even though you really couldn't remember much from your past after the accident you had, Jungkook filled up all the missing pieces as much as he could. According to Jungkook you had a bad fall and hit your head hard that it cracked open your skull making your brain damaged. So as a result you couldn't remember your past much, according to the doctors 6 years of your life is missing from your memories. Well it was not completely wiped off. You still have vague memories and some familiar lingering feelings in you but who didn't know what most of them meant. Like the strong feeling you are having right now as you locked eyes with the strange man. Your heart painfully tugged as you stared at him. Even from this distance, you could tell that he was so sad and so broken. Your heart was doing weird flips seeing him and you didn't know why.

Soon you heard footsteps and Jungkook calling you. Moving away from the window you turned to go to Jungkook. "Hey, are you ok?" He asked in a concerned voice opening his arms for you. You smiled and went into them. Jungkook is always so worried about you and freaks out even for the little thing that happens around you. His overprotective nature has grown along with him over the years. You wished you remembered how you grew up and how you became lovers. But all you had was some photos together and some vague blurry memories of being in love.

"Yeah I'm ok. But who was that?" You ask. Jungkook was silent for a second and he was glad that you couldn't see his face.

"Ahh just a crazy person I used to know."

"What did he want?" you ask putting Jungkook in a tough position. Without thinking he said the first lie that came to his mouth.

"He had met some friends for drinks and got to know that I was here. So he just dropped by before going back to Korea." Jungkook wanted to smack his head for not coming up with a better lie but thankfully you seemed to believe it as you got quiet with your head resting on his chest. 

"But why did he act like he knows me and hugged me? Do I know him too?" You ask curiously.

"No you don't. He just mistook you for someone else. He was a bit drunk.. He acts like that with girls around him when he lose control." Jungkook lied for your own good. His heart was pounding, he got the shock of his life when he saw Jimin at their doorstep.

He never thought Jimin would find you but he did. Jungkook was relieved as he managed to send him away and he hoped Jimin would never come back because he didn't want to risk your life again. After that incident with Taehyung you were seriously injured with two blows to your head. It resulted you to be in a coma for 7 months. Jungkook was so scared for your life. He was not in his right mind as you were unconscious. Jungkook was literally going crazy and always made a scene at the hospital when you didn't wake up every passing day. 

But once you did, there were so many complications. Since you were in a vegetative state, you couldn't move and you also had a major problem with your memory. It was such a hard time for all of us as you couldn't grasp the situation. You would always clutch your heart and scream in pain but the doctors said that there was nothing wrong with you physically.

You were crying for forgotten, mixed memories. Doctors said that you must have been traumatized and this head injury caused you to forget painful things that affected deeply to you and Jungkook was told not to force memories into you as it could be risky. And he was told not to bring up anything painful from your past or the incident with Taehyung because it might be overwhelming to you and the doctors couldn't guarantee how it will affect you. So he hid everything from you.

Wanting the best doctor to treat you, Jungkook searched everywhere and found the best specialist here in Singapore. Without any further questions, he took you here with him. Luckily his company have  another main branch here so he was easily able to transfer and even become the head of the designing unit.

He was provided with a house and everything here. It felt like a new start for him. With the help of the doctors and trainings you got better and slowly adjusted to life here. As time passed your memories messed with your head. You couldn't remember anything and kept screaming and crying for some memories saying you couldn't see his face. Jungkook got scared when you would start hitting the wall and act out of control. He was so scared to leave you alone. But things got better as you started thinking that whatever you were seeing was all Jungkook and believed that you were dating him.

As Jungkook was warned about the situation you are in, he just played along. He knew he shouldn't be happy but he felt like he was given a clean slate to start over. It's not like he never loved you because he did. And he was ready to do anything for you. He definitely felt guilty for saying that it was him that you have been dating but given everything that has been going, he doesn't regret it. He would rather lie than have your life at risk. He already went through the horror of almost loosing you, so he was not ready to do it again. 

Besides he never took advantage of you and started everything from the start. He told you to forget everything that's bothering you so that you both could start fresh. Jungkook showed his love and took good care of you slowly building up your love and trust towards him. Everything was going fine and you both were happy. He was keeping you happy and he didn't want anyone to come and mess it up anymore. 

 I will not loose you again Y/n. I will protect you from your painful past. I will always keep you happy and love you with all my heart.
