ⅠⅩ
Third person's POV
Suddenly realizing the hour, they found themselves immersed for hours; it was already 4 in the afternoon. With shared glances and satisfied smiles, they decided it was time to head home, eager to continue the day that had unexpectedly become an enchanting escape into the world of books.
They bid their goodbyes to Ji-eun and settled into the car. Taehyung ignited the engine, and the car glided through the cool streets. Jungkook gazed out of the window, relishing the refreshing breeze. Catching Jungkook's dreamy expression, Taehyung couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of the moment.
With a genuine smile, Taehyung complimented, "You're a fantastic author, Jungkook. I was completely immersed in the book. It's been ages since I read with such concentration and interest. Your writing style, the plots, the twists—it all kept me hooked."
Jungkook's bunny-like smile widened, "Thanks. I mean, I'm not on par with other authors. I don't even sketch out an outline or anything. I write spontaneously, so sometimes, it might stretch out a bit too much. But hey, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Taehyung asked with genuine curiosity, "What inspired this book?"
Jungkook reclined in his seat, a contemplative expression on his face. "Well, you see, the story centers around Isabella, a girl driven by an unwavering passion for dancing. She finds herself entangled in a complex love story where the person she falls for appears to be out of reach. Despite mutual feelings, circumstances keep them apart, leading to a rollercoaster of emotions. The unique element lies in how she expresses her feelings through dance. There's this poignant scene where she dances barefoot in the rain, unknowingly facing painful obstacles. It's a story about love, passion, and the determination to overcome obstacles. I was captivated by this idea the moment it came to my mind."
Jungkook paused, his eyes reflecting the memories of his inspiration, and then he continued, "I once had a friend who found solace in weaving. She would weave tirelessly, day and night, as it brought her peace. On a day when she was very upset due to a fight with her boyfriend, she started weaving to calm down. While immersed in the process, she didn't even realize she was sobbing, and the needle had pricked her hands so much that they were covered in blood. I helped her then, and that experience gave me the initial concept. However, instead of weaving, Isabella expresses her emotions through the art of dance."
Taehyung listened intently, captivated by the depth of Jungkook's inspiration. "You have the brain of a genius," he remarked with genuine admiration.
Jungkook chuckled modestly, "I'm just inspired by life and the people around me. Sometimes, the most beautiful stories are hidden in the simplest moments."
Taehyung asked, " What was your book about?"
Jungkook's eyes lit up, and a genuine excitement radiated from him as he looked at Taehyung. A bright smile appeared on his face, and he asked, "Do you really want to know?"
Taehyung nodded enthusiastically.
Jungkook, a bit hesitant, questioned, "Are you sure? I don't want to bore you. Every time I start talking about books, people tend to get bored."
Taehyung frowned, reassuringly saying, "No, I won't get bored. I promise you. Tell me, I want to know."
Jungkook's enthusiasm surged as he began to passionately narrate the story, his expressions animated, "There's this girl, Seraphina, who is the princess of a majestic kingdom. A grand ball is held at her palace, and everyone is invited. Masquerades adorn every face, creating an air of mystery. In the midst of the festivity, she encounters a mysterious young man with captivating oceanic blue eyes. They engage in conversation, drawn to each other's charm, and a deep connection forms. However, still masked, they part ways without revealing their true identities. Little do they know, they are meant to be arch-enemies and have harbored mutual hatred since childhood.
In the aftermath of the grand masquerade, Seraphina and her mysterious admirer unveil their true identities, sending shockwaves through the court. As the revelation unravels, the once enchanting connection transforms into a complicated dance of confrontations and battles. The air is thick with tension as the two lovers grapple with their conflicting backgrounds and the heavy burden of their shared destiny.
Despite the animosity brewing between their kingdoms, Seraphina and her mysterious lover find it impossible to erase the impact they've left on each other's hearts. Every moment apart feels like an eternity, as if an enchantment binds them together. Scenes of stolen glances across the battlefield and secret rendezvous in moonlit gardens become the backdrop of their forbidden romance.
Through the trials of war, Seraphina and her lover face hardships that test the strength of their love. Denials, whispered promises, and the echo of clashing swords fill the chapters of their tale. In a particularly poignant moment, they share a clandestine meeting under the cover of a starry night, professing their enduring love for each other.
The struggle extends beyond their personal desires; now, they must embark on a journey to convince their families to set aside their longstanding feud. Scenes of impassioned pleas and tearful confrontations add layers of emotional intensity to the narrative. The kingdoms, once at odds, become the battleground for the lovers' fight for acceptance.
As the lovers navigate the treacherous path to unity, another cycle of wars threatens to tear them apart. Desperation sets in, but their determination to be together only strengthens. Scenes of sacrifice, secret alliances, and strategic maneuvering build the suspense, leaving readers on the edge of their seats.
Finally, against all odds, the day of triumph arrives. The kingdoms, once divided, witness a union forged"
As Jungkook wrapped up his intriguing tale, he suddenly realized they had been parked in front of their home for longer than intended. He turned to Taehyung, half-expecting impatience or annoyance, but found Taehyung looking at him with adoration, his chin propped on his hand and a smile playing on his lips.
"Sorry, got carried away," Jungkook apologized.
"No worries. I loved the story. It was really interesting. I enjoyed hearing you narrate it," Taehyung replied with a warm assurance. They both genuinely smiled at each other, thankful for a shared moment of connection.
In his gentlemanly fashion, Taehyung stepped out of the car and opened the door for Jungkook. They walked into the mansion side by side, their smiles reflecting the joy of shared stories.
As they entered, the sight of Beomgyu and Grandma engaged in hushed conversation caught their attention. Eager to know the topic, Taehyung inquired, "What are you guys chatting about?"
Caught off guard, Beomgyu and Grandma stammered in unison, "Nothing!"
Uncle, who had been casually watching television, chimed in with a mischievous grin, "Oh, just gossiping about you and Jungkook!"
Grandma shot Uncle a disapproving glare, but he just chuckled. Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged amused glances, and without uttering a word, they decided to make a graceful retreat upstairs, leaving the living room in a cloud of unspoken secrets.
As they climbed the staircase, the distant sounds of laughter and playful banter echoed behind them, creating an air of mystery and anticipation for the chapters yet to unfold in their shared journey.
