"We are going to our village Radha Krishna Temple! " Abir said out of the blue, I took a glance of the watch. It's around 1:30 PM.

"What happened suddenly? " I muttered, we both are in his office and now he's informing this.

"Nothing! Dadi had told me to take you there. And I don't have much work here as of now , that's why! " he replied, just for the agreement I wanted to go. The sooner we will win dadi's trust the faster I will get rid of them.

"I don't have clothes to take , so are we going home? " I asked, he shook his head in negatively. "Dad will take it, let's go! " he stood up and made his way to outside. I frowned.

"You could have informed me earlier about it, " I complained and followed him. "I don't want anyone to know about our departure. In case you are forgetting about your psycho lovers! " he taunted, I rolled my eyes. He has a point. We got inside his car. Rather than going towards the main gate he took another way.

"Where are we going? " I asked as he drove the car into a forest and soon we were under the subway, everything became dark. I turned on the lights in the car. "Butterfly! How many time I have to remind you that no one should know about our departure! So I am going this way, " he explained, I looked at him in curiosity.

"What is this new name? Butterfly? " I asked, he let out a chuckle. "When you know people are in a motive to catch you, still you behave all careless and roam around, that's why the new name! " I rolled my eyes. I can't just sit in a room just because of the people who care about me more than their life, huh! So many pretty girls out there but they chose to make my life hell. One day if any how I will get a chance to kill them, I will do it without caring about the consequences.

I felt a fear in my gut, going out without any security and that too with this man. If I will start doubting everyone then I won't be able to survive in this world. I sighed . Soon we came out of the sabway and after taking five six turns we were on the NH. I took out my phone , and suddenly Abir snatched it away.

"What the -" he threw the phone outside of window. My eyes widened.

"What the fuck! Why did you do that? " I shouted at him, his focus was on the street.

"No electronic devices should be with you till we come back. "

I greeted my teeth in anger, none of them had even my number so they can't track me. But umm! Yash Kapoor is very dangerous man with the sharpest mind. So it's better to not take my phone with me.

I looked at Abir, he belongs to our rival family. All of these action of him made my doubt stronger on him. I pulled out the drawer and snatched the gun from it. "Hey! It's mine, " he shouted, holding it tightly I kept it on my lap.

"It will be with me till you drop me safely! " I mentioned, he glared at me then continued to drive. "Do you even know how to shoot? " he asked, "Of course! " I lied, lol. I know how to shoot but I don't know how to shoot on the exact point. I am really bad at targeting people.

After five hours of continuous driving we finally reached in a village. It was far far far away from the city. Seeing dadi I handed him his gun and came out of the car. He followed me . There was few people around us, it looks like a old village.

"He must haven't stopped the car anywhere, you must be hungry, let's go inside and have some food, " dadi said, yeah I haven't done my lunch and it's already night. There was no one inside the small cottage, I wonder where is the other family members.

"Everyone have settled in different city with their family, so no one is here. " she informed, I nodded. There was a single bathroom and no closet. Of course it was not a luxurious house but they could have invest some money and can make it a better house. I took my clothes to bathroom, after taking a shower I wore a loose shirt and a pyjama. Dadi served my food, I did my dinner in silence. As no one was there that house was giving me creepy vibes.

I went to my room, dadi had told us to visit the temple early in the morning. So I have to sleep early. I became relieved seeing two single bed close to each other, pulling out one bed I made a distance between it and fell on my bed. Abir came after sometime and locked the door from inside.

"Don't fall in deep slumber! " he warned me and jumped on the bed, I snapped my head to him. "Why? " I asked, he gave me a creepy look.

"There is so many ghost around here. What if anyone would have developed a crush on you, they might kidnap you, " he grinned, I glared at him and pulled the blanket till my neck. He was successful in making me scared. I let out a deep breath, after praying to God I slept.

It's around 4:00 am when we both woke up! Dadi was awake too. Dadi told me to wear a saree but Abir suggested that I wear an anarkali or simple kurti as I have to climb the hill. So I chose a decent anarkali for myself. We came here for one day but dadi had brought five pairs of clothes. Unbelievable!

I put my bag in the trunk of our car. After visiting the temple we will go back to Mumbai. According to their beliefs newly married couples should visit their village temple after their marriage . It's a good way to start a new life. Dadi left for Mumbai as soon as we left the place. She had already visited the temple yesterday. I was going to a divine place but all I was getting is some strange creepy vibes.

Abir parked the car near to the hill. "What if we will go back to Mumbai without visiting the temple, we are doing it for formality na! How would dadi know? " I grinned then bit my tongue. I shouldn't have denied to visit temple . No no! My inner soul mocked me for thinking something like that.

"Dadi will ask the Priest in phone, she doesn't trust us! " Abir mocked and started climbing the stairs. I moved my gaze up and found the temple not so far . We won't have to climb much.

"Can you walk little slower! " I mumbled while struggling with my breath. My mental health was bad but physical health is worse. "If you keep walking like a sloth it will take us forever to reach there, " he taunted, I rolled my eyes.

"You are such a bad company! " I cursed him under my breath, "I will take it as a compliment , thank you! " he snapped back. Finally after fifteen minutes of climbing on the stairs we reached the temple. We bought flowers, diya and prasad. As Abir said I handed everything to the Priest, we sat there for some time till the Priest was done with Puja. After taking blessings we took seven phera around the temple.

My throat was dried, so I drank water from the tubewell. It was time for sunrise I became excited to witness the scenery. From the top of the hill it would be pleasant to witness sunrise. Even the view was so eye catching. The sound of the stream, the crashing of water waves, the chirping sound of birds, everything was soothing my mind. The cold wind against my skin felt like medicine. The place was so beautiful that I could hardly blink my eyes.

Leaning against the cave wall I was staring at the perfect view. My heart skipped a beat in fear when someone palmed my mouth, before I could freak out I saw the person, it's Abir.

"What is wrong with you? " I shouted but he tightly pressed my mouth, keeping his index finger on his lips he gestured me to shut my mouth .

"I feel like someone is watching us! " he mumbled, looking here and there. My eyes automatically widened hearing him. He held my hand and moved towards the back of the cave. "We have to be alert! " he said, taking huge steps. I pulled him back and hid beside a large stone.

I spotted a bunch of goons behind the trees, their face was covered with the mask. "How did they get to know about us! " Abir gritted his teeth, "Who are they? " I asked in confusion, in return he glared at me. "Of course your psycho lover had sent him, "

"That's impossible. He is out of India, bhai had eyes on him. " I said, the reason why I agree to come with him because Yash is not in India currently. Abir shook his head and dragged me along with him. "It's his people only, you don't know how smart he is! " Abir taunted, rather than taking the stairs we went through the jungle. I felt a lump in my heart but it was not the time to get scared.

I could hear some sounds around us, "Where is your gun? " I asked Abir, "In my car! " he replied, God! "Even if I get my gun, I can't kill these bunch of people, " he added, that's true. We increased our pace and ran to our car. We both got inside quickly, he started the car.

"Are the windows bullet proof? " I asked him, "They can crash the whole car, it doesn't matter if it's bullet proof or not! " he voiced,  we should have allotted security rather than coming here all alone. But it was a risk too. If we would have allotted security they would have got to know about us. But they got to know about us already.

"What the fuck! "

I snapped my head to the front when four cars jumped on the road from the hill  , I looked back, there was a bunch of cars behind us too. Abir turned the car to the left and we got inside the dark forest. I took out the gun and handed it to him. First he looked at me then at the gun.

"You know how to -"

"Let me drive! You take it, I can't shoot, " I blurted, without saying anything he opened the seatbelt. I held the steering and he took the gun. First I moved from my place then he slipped to the passenger seat.

"Are you sure you can drive! " he asked while putting the bullet in the gun. "It's too late to ask! " I muttered and increased the speed. My heart beat was faster than before. He slid the upper glass of the car  , peeping through the glass he started firing. He was constantly going up and down, I tried to drive in a jig jag motion so that they couldn't shoot the tyre. But it was too hard to drive in between the trees.

"Jump from the cliff, we don't have bullets anymore, " he said pointing towards the end of the cliff. My eyes widened. "We will die! " I shouted, "Better than dying in their hands, " he screamed and took control over the steering . "Abir No! " he increased the speed , "Sit Back, " he shouted, the car was near the end.

I closed my eyes , in a second I was pushed to the side, my body pressing against the door. I snapped my eyes, just at the end Abir took a turn which created a sudden force which pushed both of us to a side as he was driving while sitting on the passenger seat. I took a breath of relief as he took a turn, other cars which were following us were in speed, some fell from the cliff while others saved themselves by applying break on time which led them to crash with each other .

Abir moved back to his seat while I was driving, God I thought we both will fall. My heart was pounding against my chest, I was on the verge of getting an attack. For the first time I witnessed a fight like this, I almost saw death near us. I had already made up my mind that it was my last day. Abir was in some deep thoughts.

"Don't take the car to the main road, I don't think they will leave us so soon, " Abir said, I nodded. "But how long is the forest and where are we going? " I asked, he gulped. "I have no idea, let's see where it takes us to , " he replied seriously, I stared at him in shock.

"Heyyy! Slow down, " Abir screamed at the top of his voice but it was already late. The car slipped down the valley, I held the steering tightly while Abir held my hand. Our car took a turn in the air and fell upside down on the ground, the force was so high that we both came out of the car from the opposite side. As we were exchanging seats, we didn't tie the seatbelt. I rolled down on the ground until my stomach bumped with a tree.

I felt a sharp pain, holding my belly I crawled on the ground. My eyes were shut while my mind went blank. The pain was so sharp that I couldn't even move. Gathering all my energy I sat down, my eyes became teary. I looked here and there but could not find the car , Abir was not visible either. I wrapped my dupatta around my belly tightly and got up.

God is punishing me for what I said in the morning. I was about to climb up when my eyes fell on some goons. They reached here as well.. I took a step back and hid beside the tree. "Mishti! Be strong. It will pass too. You have never harmed anyone, nothing wrong will happen to you, " I tried to boost my energy. I didn't even have my phone.i gritted my teeth in anger.

Keeping my eyes on them I started walking backward, my eyeballs moving all around . I have to save myself. The forest was dark, so they could not spot me. Aimlessly I was roaming in the dark forest . I was getting numerous strange feelings, I was hungry, thirsty, tired. For the last two hours I was just roaming here and there and Abir was nowhere. I just hope he is fine. What if they would have caught him. No he is not that dumb that they will easily catch him.

I could not walk further and dropped myself behind a bunch of shrubs . Those small trees were completely covering me. I put my palm in my mouth when I spotted a snake there. I held my breath, it passed over my leg. I didn't move an inch otherwise it would have been my last day. Again a footsteps sound reached my ear, I sat on my knees and saw a man wearing all black, his face covered with a mask . Fear started engulfing me , when he faced his back to me I started walking backward again .

I was going back until a goon pulled me and covered my mouth . I could not see the face as he was wearing a mask. I tried to free myself from his hold. "Sssh! " I stopped trying as the voice reached my ear. It was Abir. I took a glance of his attire, he was wearing like the goons. When did he get the time to change. I pulled out the mask and my eyes met with those pairs of brown eyes. I felt so relieved that I couldn't express myself.

He pulled me again, horizontally. His one hand around my waist and another on my mouth. We both were lying above each other. I heard the footsteps again, it was a grassy land with lots of herbs and shrubs. So it's a better place for us to hide. As the sound vanished I pulled myself and sat straight. We both took a deep breath and stared at each other.

"How did they know about our location! I didn't even use my personal car, " Abir asked, "Leave them, how did you find me? " I asked in curiosity. He was about to say something but didn't. "Coincidentally I bumped with you, " I don't know but his words felt like a lie. He gave me a doubtful look.

"If you are playing with me and you are behind all this then you can't imagine what will I do to you! " he whisper-yelled , I stared at him with an blank expression.

"You belongs to the Agarwal's and they are our rival! " he added before I could say anything.

"Mr Abir Rajvansh! Even it's all my plan for whatever reason, can you please explain why will I put myself in trouble and how the hell will I contact someone when I don't have a fucking phone, " I gritted my teeth in anger. He remained quiet.

"Now we should get out of the jungle instead of doubting on each other, " saying I stood up but he pulled me, "ouch! " I groaned in pain and rubbed my knees. "Butterfly! In case you are forgetting goons are still here, we can't just walk around like this! " he said, pressing his teeth together. I nodded, we both started moving from our place with the help of our hands and knees. Somehow after crawling on the ground for next half an hour we spotted a road.

Next to it, there was a half built tall house, it was under construction. A river was passing near it.

"I feel we are near the Arabian sea! Not sure, " Abir muttered and held my hand. "Can we rest somewhere! I am tired, " I said, my whole body was aching in pain. He nodded after scanning me from top to toe. We both headed to the building. There was no people around. We both dropped ourselves in a corner.

"I am hungry, " I mumbled, rubbing my belly.

"Cement will help? " Abir taunted, I glared at him.

"Don't know about cement but you will be enough! I can eat you, " I said gritting my teeth, he suddenly came in front of me making my heart jump. "Then have me , butterfly, " he whispered, my eyes went a little big. I was holding my knees near my chest, he pressed my knees making my leg flattened on the ground. He came close to me, his face just a few micrometer away from mine. I gulped.

"I am okay with my empty stomach, " I murmured, he chuckled and went back to his place. I exhaled, he is really weird. We both snapped towards the door, again some noise knocked our ears. We both stared at each other, he dragged me along with him. As the goons have completely took over the building there was no way to outside. We started climbing up the stairs, I couldn't breath properly.

My legs were hurting, it's difficult for me to even stand. As soon as we reached on the fifth floor I held Abir's hand and shook my head. "I can't, please stop I can't! " I barely spoke those words, he dragged me to a room. My chest was rising up and down, I need air. I held his shirt tightly not wanting to fall on the ground.

"They are coming towards us! " Abir whispered, I shut my eyes being completely tired. But again I stood up, we both went inside a room which seems like a bathroom. So many plywood was placed at a corner. Abir gathered the ply quickly and gestured me to hide inside it. I went inside and held the wood, he too came inside. As we both sat down the ply fell on his back.

I palmed my mouth, he hissed in pain and shut his eyes. We both became allotted sensing some people's present around us. We both moved aside, my breath hitched as a shadow fell on us through the little gap.

A person came towards us, my heartbeat increased like anything. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain on my knuckles when the edge of the ply got pressed on the back of my palm giving me extreme pain. I opened my mouth but could not shout. Abir placed his hand horizontally in my mouth and I bit his hand while tears were rolling down on my cheek. That man was leaning against the ply which lead it to press on my hand.

I could not even pull my hand out, the pain became worse. Abir pressed my other hand, I was crying without making any noise, while biting his hand to reduce the pain and to not make any sound. It's getting horrible. After a few minutes that man left with others. I pulled out my hand, blood was oozing from my knuckles. My eyes were blurred due to tears. Abir pressed my mouth stopping me from crying as the people were still around us.

After some fifteen minutes everything became quiet, I was holding my hand. Abir took off the ply and slowly went outside. I was still lying there holding my wounded hand.

"They left! " Abir informed me, he came to me. I bursted into tears holding my palm, it was paining very badly. Soon I was in his arm, he took me near the water tab in the bathroom and pour water over the wound.

"No Abir, it's burning! " I cried pressing my face in the crook of his neck. "Have patience! " I shook my head, I felt like dying. He turned off the tab and blew air through his mouth. I felt chilled but again the burning was back. He wrapped his handkerchief around my wound. I wiped my tears and stood up. He splashed some water on his face and drank a little water using his hand.

"Bent down! " he pushed me down holding my neck and splashed water on my face. He helped me to drink water. I felt alive again. We both moved out of the bathroom and sat near a window. My palm was trembling due to the pain. It is badly bruished. What did I do to deserve all this!

"How are they finding our exact location! " Abir sighed in distress, I looked outside, a river was passing near the building.

"I think the target is you Abir! " I pointed, he gave me whatever look without taking it seriously. "Butterfly;for the first time in my life I am going through something like this bad ; all thanks to you, after coming to my life you added masala cheeze in it, " he didn't leave the chance to taunt me.

"No Abir listen to me! In case you didn't notice when you were firing on them, they could have easily shoot on you, so many people were there ; there only target was to harm the car! " when I mentioned his face turned serious. He started biting his lips and then looked at me.

"Am I missing out something? Or someone close to me is back stabbing me! " he said, "Again" he added, I wonder what they want. It was just a threat or if they wanted to kidnap me they could have easily kill him. It can't be Yash's people. My gut feeling was strong about it.

"We need to gather all the pieces fist! " Abir mumbled, his fingers brushed his hair that's when my gaze fell on his palm. I have left my teeth mark there, it was looking red, it must be burning. I moved my gaze to other side.

"Wait! Why your driver was not there to pick you up after office hour? " he asked, he again pointed his finger at me while I am saying the opposite .

"I don't know exactly! " I smiled sheepishly. He glared at me. "You didn't even ask him? "

"I asked, toh he told me that his wife's health was not good, so the later days I thought he went to see his wife, " hearing my words Abir fumed in anger.

"He is not married, idiot! " Abir snapped, my eyes widened. Why did he lie to me?

"Why was Ishan dropping you? How did he become so friendly with you in such a short time? " his eyes became small in curiosity.

"Don't drag Ishan here. Um! I didn't tell you but if we see then he is my cousin brother from my maternal side. We don't have any blood relation so we didn't know each other but that day when I talked with him I discovered about it and he too got to know! That's why he dropped me at home for my own safety. You toh don't care if I stay alive or not! " I exclaimed, he took his own time to digest the truth.

"Next time don't hide anything from me. Every single detail matters here, " he warned me.

"When I am telling you, it's not me but you are their target. I have a strong feeling, Yash will never send goons behind me, he wants me alive not dead , either someone is trying to threaten us or something is happening behind us which we don't have any idea about! " I was literally tired of saying the same thing.

"Oh My God! They saw me, " I hid behind the wall, Abir raised his head up and looked outside through the window. I hit my head on the wall. "Who the fuck told you to stand there? " Abir shouted , how would I know about them roaming here?

"Where will we go? " I freaked out, he held my hand and ran towards the end of the cliff, I pulled him back before he could jump into the water. "We will die, see the depth of this river! " I took a step back but he tightened his grip around me.

"Better than dying in their hands! " he muttered, his eyes fixed on the water. The crashing of the waves was enough to make me feel dizzy. It was looking so scary. "Why dying is the only single option left for us? " I mumbled and pouted, "We need to jump, butterfly! " he voiced, as the sounds of the goons became louder my heartbeat fastened.

"1 2 3 jump- "

We fell in the water, while I was trying to breathe he was still holding my hand in a tight fist. I know how to swim but the powerful waves were just pushing us towards one direction. "There is a stream ahead! " Abir tried to pull me, "I don't think we can go back, " I shouted, I felt his hand around my waist, he released the knot of my dupatta and tied both of us. "In case we will part away after falling down, " he muttered, I wrapped my hand around him and pressed my head in his chest. With the flow we fell down along with the stream. I tried to catch air, Abir untied the dupatta as soon as we fell down.

We both started swimming as the flow of water slowed down. We moved to the bank of the river, again we were in a jungle. I don't have any idea about our location. We both came out of the water, completely drenched. My breath became normal. It's hard for us to walk on the sand, after some hundred meters we could not walk further and stopped.

"When will we go home? " I yelped, pushing my head back on the tree. He was equally breathless.

"As soon as bhai reaches us! " he answered, I looked up at him in a query.

"How will he find us? "

He showed me his watch. "He can track me through this watch, " he responded, I sighed in relief. So it's only his bhai who knows where we are. He is the only one who knows where we exactly are. I gazed at Abir who was already staring at me in disbelief.

"Aadarsh bhai is not behind all this, for God sake he is my brother, don't even think like that, " he yelled, I was just guessing. I took a deep breath. Bhai is good, why will he send goons behind us when he can easily find us in the house. Nope! Someone else is doing all this plan plotting.

"I am hungry! " I pouted, he pointed his finger towards the sand, I glared at him. He closed his eyes and rested his upper body against the tree. Dadi was right, he is not that bad. I shook my head, I shouldn't trust him. Not at least now! My eyes fell on his pant pocket.

"Do you have a phone with you? " I moved near him and took out the phone. "Anyone can track you easily! " I complained, he snatched the phone from my hand. "Butterfly! Don't put so much pressure on your tiny mind. It's my personal number, I haven't shared it with anyone, anyone! " the way he addressed me as a butterfly, it's enough to make me feel butterflies in my tummy. I crossed my leg and sat beside him. I will die in hunger. Soon.

"Why don't you call bhai then? "

"There is no network! " I sighed and pouted.

First I was helpless then I entered his life, now we both are helpless. I found it funny. Will the world believe that the CEO of the famous Ava group of Industry is stuck in a jungle and running away from goons. I laughed internally. He was sleeping peacefully. It started getting darker. I just hope bhai will reach us, otherwise in anyhow they will find us again I won't be able to run.

I looked up and my eyes fell on the fruits. Fuck! We were sitting under a fruit tree and I was searching for food here and there. I don't know about the fruit but it looks delicious. I stood up quickly and jumped at my place trying to grab one but I could not reach.

"Abir! Can you help me? " I woke him up and pointed at the fruits. He frowned at me and shook his head. I let out a sigh, he is such a bad company. I again started jumping, somehow I held the branch but the fruits were still far.

"You can do nothing! " Abir mouthed and stood up. He moved to my front and stretched his hand up to reach the fruit. But something happened to him and he shut his eyes, he threw his both hand on me, he lost his balance.

"What happened Abir? " I wrapped my hand around his waist to hold me. Slowly fear engulfed me when I found something liquid on his back. I gulped and looked at my hand.

Blood. It was blood. I looked at his face, he was almost losing his senses. I moved my hand to his back and my hand hit with a knife.

"Who did this! " I whispered, I was pushed against the tree as he could not stand on his feet. Realization hit me hard. I was the target this time . Someone was trying to kill me by throwing the knife but at that time Abir came to my front. Someone wants to kill me.

"Abir hold on! " I murmured, my throat became dry.

Soon we were surrounded by people . Abir completely fell upon me and closed his eyes. I felt a huge lump in my chest, there was an unknown pain which I felt.
