My most favorite time was always the nights , no problem no stress just bed. But now I get scared to close my eyes and sleep. I don't get a complete sleep, all I get is nightmares. It's not only about Yash, I am getting horrible dreams. It's around 2:00 am, from the last hour I was watching the clock but the time was going too slow. I wanted the night to pass but it's longer than ever.

I looked at my side , Abir was sleeping at his place. The headache, sore body and the effects of medicines were forcing me to sleep but one thing I knew was I would get another worse dream. It's literally so disturbing. The incident had shaken me to the core and it's getting difficult to come out of this.

For the last one week as per Abir I was doing meditation, little workout, visiting temples and good places but at night it's again the same. I wanted to be strong but it's so difficult at this point. Naina's health has improved a lot and I am thankful about it. She will take a drop this year because the doctor said her condition is critical, it's better to take rest and not take any stress. I don't even want her to take stress for anything.

I moved my gaze towards the clock, fuck it's 2:05 . Seriously? I thought it would be 2:30 atleast. I scratched the back of my neck in frustation. "Aren't you sleepy? " Abir asked, his voice was rough and sleepy. His eyes were half closed . "Trying.. " I mumbled in a low tone. "You should sleep for eight hours at least! Come here, " he said and patted the bed gesturing me to go near him.

I just stared at him with an blank expression, he lifted up his eyebrows. "I won't eat you up, come here! " he uttered, I moved near him and he took me to his embrace. The moment I got into his embrace, I felt warmth, an unknown comforting feeling . He kept me close to him and started brushing my hair. I looked up at his face, his eyes were close. The tiredness was clearly visible on his face.

I could feel his heartbeat, it felt good to be with him. The silence was comforting, his touch was comforting. His hot breath was fanning on my forehead, I buried my face on his chest and a smile lingered on my lips. The way he just make me feel safe is so strange. He's the same guy I was hating a few days ago. Unbelievable.

I closed my eyes, the way he was brushing my hair, I got the sleep soon.

After doing my breakfast I was doing a little walk in the garden. I badly want to wash my hair but due to the injury on the back of my head, I can't do it and it's so frustrating honestly. I feel so heavy.For last seven days I haven't gone anywhere except to the hospital for my check up. I yawned lazily .

A car stopped in front of the huge gate, it seem familiar. My curious mind pushed me to go ahead and see who was there but the past incident made me stop on my way. I didn't want to break my bones again so I just stood there. An old woman came out of the car.

That's it.

My jaw dropped in shock .

I was in cloud nine.

My dadi?

I pinched myself to check whether it's a dream or she's actually there. I couldn't hold up my excitement and ran towards the gate opening my arms. I had to stop myself abruptly as I felt dizzy, my head started spinning all of a sudden..

"Mam are you okay? " A guard came forward and held me from my elbow, I was nodding my head while trying to stand on my feet properly. I shouldn't have run like this.

"Who told you to run like a little kid? " a harsh voice pulled me out of daze and soon I was in Abir's arm. He wrapped his one hand around my waist and slightly brushed my cheek. The guard was still there. I was leaning on Abir .

I don't know why I got butterflies in my stomach, the way he pulled me out of the guard's hold and held me securely, it just made my stomach twisted in some unknown happiness. It's nothing but still I felt so many thing. He tugged my hair behind my ear and I tried my best to not give that God damn stupid smile.

"Are you okay now? Why were you running like that? " now his tone was low and concerning. "Oh! My dadi is here, " I whispered pointing my finger towards the gate. Dadi was probably talking with the guards, they were not letting her come inside.

"Let her come in! " Abir said in a loud tone, their gaze shifted to us and they opened the gate for dadi. The moment her eyes fell on me, her eyes welled up in happiness. I bit my lower lip to not cry, I met her after so many months. I freaking missed her. Abir pulled himself back, I stood there waiting for her to come. She quickly came to me and took me in a hug.

She started crying holding me, I patted her back and hugged her tightly. "I missed you so much! " I whispered, she broke our hug and hit my shoulder. "That's why you didn't even bother to call me for once! "

"I was thinking but then all the incident happened, but seriously I missed you and was about to call you! " I said and she pouted.

"Namaste dadi! " Abir bent down and touched her feet. Dadi raised her eyebrows and asked me. "Dadi, he is umm Abir! " I introduced, she frowned instantly. "Oh! " she uttered, that was such a blank response. She very well know how I got married to Abir, so I won't be surprised if she won't like him and this family.

"Please come inside! " Abir said but she showed her palm. "I just came here to take my daughters, I don't want to go inside, thank you! " she said with a cold attitude, I stared at her in shock.

"It's enough now. I am not going back to Agarwal house again . I was there for the sake of Naina but now I don't care what they do. I did my best to pull my son to walk on the right path but all he cares about money and fame so I left him and come here. We will live in our apartment, " she explained.

"Why will you live anywhere, you can stay with mishti, here! " Abir said but again dadi cut him off in the middle. "You will not tell me what to do! Anyway I need some privacy, can you go and call Naina? " Dadi asked rudely, he nodded silently and went inside.

"Dadi what's this? Why are you behaving so rudely with him? "

"You are asking me this? I know the back story of your marriage. They all treated you so badly, I don't even want to breathe the same air they breath, I seriously hate all of them. Don't tell me how to behave! " she was clearly angry, I didn't even defend anyone. They obviously did wrong but they didn't treat me badly. Except Abir, in the initial days.

"So I am going to stay with you , I meant umm-"

"Till I realize that your husband and this family is good for you! " she said, I nodded. We both will be divorced till then, anyway. Naina came towards us while screaming loudly, I chuckled at her reaction.

"Go and pack your bags, " dadi said to me. "We are going now? " I asked in shock and she nodded. Naina reached us, they both shared a hug. Arguing with her means arguing with the wall. I went inside, Meera aanty was going towards the garden with a plate filled with a water glass, tea cup and some snacks.

"Is it for dadi? " I asked and she nodded.

"Yes! But you didn't invite her, I will call her, wait, " she told me but I stopped her.

"No, let her sit in the garden! " I said showing my discomfort, maybe she understood the reason, so didn't say anything and went outside. Abir's dadi was not in home as she went to a satsang. I went upstairs to pack my bag. When I entered the room, I saw Abir packing some stuffs in a bag.

"What are you doing ? " I asked going near him. "I am packing all your medical reports and medicine, because you will forget to take it with you! " he said while studying some reports. I pouted, I don't know why I didn't want to leave this house. Atleast not this morning. And he had literally no problem with it. It made me more sad.

I just threw my empty bag on the bed and started packing my clothes. "As I won't be there, don't forget to take medicines. But don't worry, I will call you so that you won't forget. And don't forget to do meditation, morning walk evening walk, don't wash your hair and don't eat much sweets. Doctor has told you to not take sweets as it will take more time to heal your injury, so be careful about it. And umm-"

"Don't lecture me , it is morning time and I can't remember anything now! " I said Irritatedly, here I was not even in a mood to go and he was literally explaining me what to do there after going. Ugh. "Okay I will send you a voice note! " he replied quickly.

How sweet!

"And yes! Send me your address, I would hire security around it for your safety! " he mumbled, I showed him my thumb.

"I think Naina should not go anywhere in this condition, she need proper treatment. But okay, I will tell the doctor to take care of her properly! "

Now I was furious, he was worried about Naina, but not for me? Oh wow. That's great! I won't even get a sleep without him, God know what will I do there. I am really happy about dadi but still I was sad for some reasons. I packed my luggage and dragged it till the door .

"Wait let me help you! " saying he took the luggage from my hand.

"You are so desperate to send me away, isn't it? " I finally told breaking the silence, he chuckled in response. Hello it was not a joke!

Was it?

"Actually I am happy that you are going with your dadi. New people new environment, it would be good for you! " he said while descending the stairs, I rolled my eyes & followed him. When I stepped down the stairs, I saw Saanvi di coming from the kitchen. I thought to say her a bye before going but I was scared too. From that day she's become silent.

But keeping everything aside I went to her. She moved her gaze to me then at my vanity bag. "You are going somewhere? " she asked, I nodded. "I am going to my dadi's place actually! " I said. "Oh that's sweet, enjoy! " she said, I gave her a faint smile and hugged her from my side. To my surprise she hugged me back and patted my shoulder.

"Take care! " she muttered, we break our hug. "You too! " I said with a smile, she nodded. Then I went outside with Abir, I felt so relived. After so many days we talked to each other.

Both dadi and meera aanty were talking with each other, seeing dadi's expression I understood she's just talking for formality. "Your dadi is totally opposite of you! " Abir commented, "Her anger is valid! " I taunted, he kept the bag inside the trunk of the car. Naina came with her bag as well.

"I had already packed my bag from yesterday, dadi told me to not tell you. It's a surprise! " she giggled , "Yah I am surprised! " I uttered. "I know I know you will miss your dear husband," she chuckled, I rolled my eyes. Abir was just watching both of us.

"Let's go! " Dadi announced , I opened the door for her. Naina sat on the passenger seat. Before going I hugged Meera aanty, "Take care beta! " she said and caressed my cheek. I turned my heel to go, Abir was standing near the car while holding the door for me.

"Bye! " he muttered, I smiled and got inside the car. He pushed the door, the driver started the car and I looked outside. Abir was already staring at me, I waved my hand at me, he did the same and the next moment the car left the place.

In this last seven days he stood by my side, tried every possible way to cheer me up, he was so gentle with me. I saw his caring side for the first time. So it's little sad for me to leave him, otherwise nothing. I was not attached with him.

"How is your health now? Won't you face problems for regular check ups ? " I asked dadi.

"I am completely fine now and taking my medicines as well, so in better condition, "

"That's great! "

Dadi owns a number of Agarwal Apartments, so we were going to stay in one of those . The car entered inside the Agarwal apartment premises, I was glad as it was near Abir's company. It won't take me much time, from tomorrow I will go back to my work.

Dadi had taken an apartment on the 7th floor, it's a well furnished house. I went to a room and settled my luggage. I was happy, but why this stupid heart was denying it. After changing my clothes I fell on the bed and took a short nap. I was just rolling and tossing on the bed. Dadi had arranged everything here, a cook, two maid and security too. I was surprised honestly.

That house didn't feel like home. Even I was happy but it's not reaching my eyes. I did my lunch, Abir didn't call me for once.

It's been just four hours girl!

My inner voice mocked me, I was sitting in the balcony . There was a complete silence, until my phone started ringing flashing Abir's name. I screamed in excitement and picked up his call.

"Hello! "

"Hmm.. You took your medicines? "

I was so disappointed, he called me to ask about medicines. What was I even expecting.

"Yup! " I gave a dry reply.

"What happened to you? You are sounding little bit off! "

"Nothing! "

"Umm okay! Are you coming to office tomorrow? "

"Yes! I have so much work pending, I have to go, "

"I will help you don't worry! "

"The CEO of the company will help me? "

"Other than CEO I am something to you as well? "

"Umm what? "

As I asked the question, my expectation raised. I wanted a good reply not something mockery types.

"Your friend! "

"Friend? "..

" Aren't we friends? Then what are we? "

"Yah friends! "

I muttered, we are nothing but just friends. It's so simple to accept but i don't know what was so wrong with me. I didn't like the way he addressed our bond. Friends don't kiss each other atleast. Huh.

"Okay bye. I have a meeting next. "

"Hmm sure! Bye. "

I cut the call and kept the phone on the table. Both dadi and Naina came to me and sat in front of me. "Dadi want to know how did you end up marrying Abir bhai! Tell her na, even I am excited, " she giggled, her excitement was clearly visible on her face. I narrated the whole story and at some point skipped little things which will draw more negative view about Rajvansh in her heart. I didn't want more drama in my life.

She just listened to me carefully and then left. Naina and I, we both sat there and discussed about some random stuffs. The day was so boring for me. I was silent throughout it.

"Is it necessary to go office? You need rest! " Dadi shouted from kitchen while making a sandwich for me.

"I am bored dadi and my boss will eat me alive if I will take more leave! " I made an excuse, I honestly want to go outside. She had no idea about my workplace and who's my boss. I didn't inform her either and told Naina to not tell her as well.

"I will come back early, don't worry! " I said pulling dadi's cheek and sat down on a couch and took my breakfast. They both accompanied me till the gate, the driver took very less time and I reached in fifteen minutes. For the first time I was excited to go to office.

I got all type of weird looks from everyone, after two weeks they all were seeing me. So it's obvious. I didn't go to the finance department but made my way to Abir's chamber. He had told me to visit him once I reach office. I did as he said. Otherwise I had no plan to meet him. I was just angry on him. I don't know but I was furious.

I took a deep breath before knocking the door...

"Come in! " he said in a bossy manner, but as soon as his eyes landed on me it became soft. Our eyes met and the anger in me flew away like a dust. I was angry on him for not giving me enough attention.

He hits me like ecstasy.

"Welcome back! Mrs Mishti Rajvansh! " he said in a welcoming manner, I smiled and blinked my eyes. Butterfly would have sounded better but anyway!

"You will do all your work here, in my cabin till you recover completely. I have arranged everything here! " he said ponting at the corner, a large desk and a chair was placed there. I nodded and made my way to it. Before I could do, he pulled back my chair for me and I sat down. He will do these small small things for me and I will think about it for next ten minutes.

I opened the laptop, due to the brightness my eyes burnt. I closed it instantly and chose to go through all the files. I felt so strange and lazy to start my work all over again. I was doing my work after whole two weeks so it's little difficult for me to even sit for more than one hour.

Abir went for his meeting while I was getting bored. I pushed the files to a side and placing my head on the desk I closed my eyes. "Coffee time! " I woke up abruptly, Abir came inside holding two cups. I stretched my body lazily, he handed me a cup. To my surprise he sat on my desk in front of me. I tried my best to concentrate on my coffee but damn?

He was sitting on the desk, one of his feet was touching the floor, his both sleeves were rolled up till his elbows exposing those sexy veiny hands, his perfect settled hair and moreover he was wearing a white formal. The atmosphere became hot, I felt suffocated. He was looking like a guy coming straight out a romance novel and I was going all gaga over him. He was talking about all the work and meetings, I was too doing my work.

Important work.

Staring at him.

I noticed his lips, a drop of coffee was left on his lower lip, he sucked it and I lost it there. Damn I need to have a grip on my fucking hormones, his lips were so so so... nothing. I jerked my head back and sighed. Finally after torturing me for five freaking minutes, he left. I became insane around his aura, but it's not my fault, it's his.

I again went back to my work. I was absent so I was clueless about my work. Taking my file I stood up. Abit was sitting on a sofa, his headphones were on, he was watching something on his phone. I could have called him but then again he would have sat on my desk and I would have lost my mind. I could not be able to concentrate on my work.

As I reached near him, he looked up and kept his phone on the sofa. I showed him the file and was just going near him, my sandal got stuck in the carpet and I fell straight on him. I didn't fell on him deliberately, I promise. I fell by chance.

"Upps are you okay? " he asked, wrapping his one hand around my waist, I hummed in response. When I tried to get up, I found my hair strand tangled on his shirt button. I adjusted myself on his lap and tried to pull my hair. "Actually I have problem with this file! " I said handing him the file, "Open the button instead of pulling your hair! " he said and took the file from my hand. I gulped down before opening the button of his shirt.

He pulled me close to him , wrapping his one hand around me he placed the file on my lap.

Sir I can sit on the sofa?

I felt so comfortable feeling his warmth, he was busy explaining to me but I had already lost my brain cells . I slapped myself mentally for coming here, it's a worse idea. I was sitting on his lap like a little kid and he was explaining me like my mother, lol. But my unholy thoughts made my state of mind worse  ..

I quickly got up when someone entered inside, it's his secretary. "I am sorry sir! " he turned back and left. "Are you okay? " he asked, placing his one hand above my hand. I felt dizzy for a moment but now I was okay.

"Can I take little rest, I am tired! " I said, he nodded. "Come with me, " I followed him, he made his way to a room attached to the cabin. It's a small room but big enough for someone to rest. I muttered a thank you , closing the door he left.

I took off my dupatta and laid back on the bed. The bed was so comforting. I fall into deep slumber as I was tired. I did my lunch there only, with Abir but then again slept back. To my surprise he didn't say anything.

When I opened my eyelids, I was welcomed by complete darkness. I could not see anything, horror gripped into my soul. I felt scared. I got off the bed and started walking towards the front. The sudden sound of a vase falling on the ground made me flinched at my place. I was moving my hand in the air and it resulted into this. I was panicking from inside but tried to keep myself calm.

Thankfully I reached the door, but when I twisted it, it didn't open. The room was dark, I had no idea about the switch position. I started trembling. "Abir open the door! " I shouted and hit the door twice but there was no response. My phone was outside even. I felt difficulties in breathing.

"Abir! " I said placing my hand on my chest, the horrible incident started flashing in front of my eyes. "Abir! " I called him for the third time, I heard  footsteps sound approaching towards me, so I took a step back. The next moment light peeped inside the room as Abir opened the door. From inside I was dying, I was so scared.

I felt tears forming in my eyes, but I didn't want to show him my weak side. "I am so sorry! " he pulled me into his embrace and rubbed my shoulder. "I accidentally locked the door, I am really sorry, " he was panicking more than me. When I felt his comforting touch around me, I couldn't hold my tears and started crying.

"Ssh ssh! Please don't cry, it's my mistake. I don't know how it got locked, " he whispered and squeezed me in his arms. I felt safe and comforting. But the next moment he placed his lips on my side head, it was his way of comforting me but I felt a different kind of emotion .

He kept his lips on my head for just a few seconds and I felt like a forever. He pressed my head on his chest once again before detaching me from himself, he was still holding my hand but I felt the sudden emptiness as soon as he broke our hug .

His embrace is my home..

I wiped my tears away , he was constantly brushing my hair making sure I was okay. He was concerned, it's nothing special but why I felt so special. "What's the time? "

"It's 7:30 ! "

"Oh I should go home, dadi must be waiting for me! " I said, he nodded in agreement. We both walked outside, he was still holding my hand. The fact that he didn't leave my hand till the car.

Isn't he making everything hard for me?

We were on our way when he stopped the car in front of an ice cream parlour. "Would you like to have an ice cream? " he asked, my answer was obvious. Who would say a No for an ice cream? "Of course! I would love to, " I mumbled, I wanted to say I would love to have an ice cream date with you.

But it was inappropriate. Huh.

We both got out of the car, he went inside the shop to buy ice cream while I was trying to sit on the bonnet of the car. Due to the slippery, I ended up sliding down. "Wait, I will help you! " I heard him saying, he reached me in no second. Placing the ice creams on the bonnet, he held me from my waist and made me sit above the bonnet. Just his one simple touch made my heartbeat faster. I took the cup and started licking my ice cream.

He was standing just in front of me, I tried to not look at him while he was licking the ice cream because I will end up getting infinite unholy thoughts about him. My mind acts crazy around him. I was more interested in him rather than my favorite chocolate flavour ice cream. I gave him the empty cup, he threw both the cups into the dustbin.

"You are such a kid! " he mocked shaking his head in disbelief, I didn't understand anything but then I felt his thumb on my lips. There was some cream left on my upper lip, he wiped it away. My heart almost stopped beating but I acted normal. "Let's go! I am getting late, " I said and stood up. We both went inside the car and he started the engine.

I was stuck in a situation where I didn't want to stay with him but also didn't want to leave him. I feel happy around him for no fucking reason. It's dangerous. And after the incident he has become so soft towards me that he's making it hard for me to not think about him.

Abir played this song, a better way to make my situation worse. I looked outside through the window while he was busy tapping on the steering. I had already told him the direction. He stopped the car in front of our apartment. I wanted to invite him to our house but then I didn't want him to feel unhappy about dadi's behavior. God knows why I was concerned about his happiness.

"Okay Good night! " I said opening the seatbelt, "Wait a minute, " he said holding my hand. I lifted my eyebrows, he made me look at him and started adjusting my hair. His fingers were moving on my cheek to fix a few hair strands, I felt a zoo in my tummy. "Your hair is looking little messy, I don't want your dadi to say that your boss gives you a lot of work when you are sick ! " he chuckled, I rolled my eyes.

"Now you are looking good! " he said and squeezed my cheeks, I blinked my eyes in surprise . It feels so different nowadays. He makes the ordinary things special . "Good night! "

I came out of the car, he waited outside the gate till I went inside my apartment. I was feeling like crying, I was angry and frustrated. Dadi welcomed me with a bright warm smile, I returned a fake smile. Making an excuse I went to my room and locked it from inside. Changing my dress I wore my night wear and fell on the bed. Every single moment started flashing in front of my eyes but it's breaking my heart.

I have started expecting a life with him, it's not what I should do. I was angry on myself for being attached with him while he was just treating me as his friend. Why life have to be so messed up every time?

My phone started ringing, it's around 9:40. Abir was calling me, I didn't pick up his call. Have you taken your medicine? He will ask this question and I didn't want to hear it. I was tired. He sent a message. Have you taken your medicine?

Good.

I threw the phone to the side and slept on the bed. After rolling and tossing on the bed I got some sleep. I had skipped my medicines but I was too lazy to take it so I slept , holding the pillow close to my chest I fell in deep slumber.

Happy Birthday Mishtiiiieeeee..

I snapped my head up in shock, both dadi and Naina were standing in front of me with a wide smile. How did they enter inside? Oh they must have unlocked it through the key. Wait? Birthday? Oh my God, I forgot it's my birthday.

Naina jumped on me and took me in a bone crushing hug. "Happy Birthday di! " she wished me, "Oho, so much respect, di and all! " I commented, "It's a reminder that you are getting older! " I rolled my eyes at her statement. Dadi sat beside me, I kissed her cheek and hugged her. "Thank you, I have completely forgot about it! "

"Nothing new! " she replied, I chuckled.

"Even it's your birthday I know you will not take a leave but please come home early. I will make special dinner for you, "

"Okay okay, I will come early but give me my breakfast, I will be late for office! "

She left to kitchen, Naina nudged on my shoulder and gave me a flirty smile. "What? "

"Umm you are going somewhere with Abir bhai na? Um umm! " she teased me. "He doesn't even know it's my birthday and don't you dare to even say him anything! "

"What? Why? I will tell him, "

"Then I will not buy your favourite chocolates , "

"Yarr di! This is unfair! "

I didn't say anything and went to take a shower. After completing my morning chores I started getting ready for office. I wore a saree today. It's my birthday and I love to wear traditional on this day.

The saree was not appropriate for the office, so I wore it in a decent manner. I always fix my hair in a bun but kept it open today. Dadi applied tikka on my forehead, I took her blessings then did my breakfast. Like yesterday the driver dropped me in my office. I directly went to Abir's chamber but didn't knock on the door . He was doing his work but sensing my presence he looked up.

"Good morning! " he greeted me, I smiled in response and went to my desk. "You are looking different today, anything special? " he asked me, I shook my head in a No. "You are seeing me in a saree after a long time, that's why! " I lied, he was not satisfied with my answer but then continued to do his work.

Which type of person he is? I didn't pick up his call yesterday, he didn't even ask the reason behind it. I was hell angry . It doesn't even affect him. I didn't look at him and kept myself involved in my work.

Around 5:30 I was roaming on the terrace, the cold wind was making my body relaxed. "I am sorry I am sorry I am sorry! " I froze on my place hearing Abir, he came running to me and took me in a hug. My eyes widened , "Happy Birthday! " he wished me, I let out a deep breath and muttered a thank you.

"Why didn't you tell me about your birthday? "

"I don't celebrate my birthday! "

"Big lie. Big fat lie. Anyway I don't have time for all this, come with me! "

He dragged me along with him, we went to the ground floor and then got inside the car. He didn't even let me speak. "Where are we going? "

"You will get to know! "

"Okay! "

He stopped the car in front of a shopping mall. I wanted to ask so many questions but he had something on his mind , I didn't want to ruin my birthday surprise lol. The staff welcomed us.

"Mam please come with us! " one lady gestured me, I looked at Abir and he blinked his eyes in assurance . The lady took me into a room. They gave me a gown and said me to change my clothes. It's such a lovely dress that I couldn't deny it.

They did a light make up on my face. I applied a perfume and wore a heel. I was getting Disney Princess vibes. I always wanted to celebrate my birthday like this, Naina must have told him about it. I will kill her. Now he will spend a lot of money to make my birthday special. I didn't want him to spend money on me. "You are looking so beautiful mam! " the lady mentioned, I smiled politely and came out of the room.

Abir was walking impatiently in the hall, when his eyes landed on me he stopped walking. The way he was staring at me, I felt shy. I could not match his gaze, lowering my gaze I went near him. "Thank you for this! " I said pointing at my dress, he was still staring at me. I bit my lower lip being conscious about everything.

"Umm let's go! " he quickly turned his feet and proceeded to go further. One complement? Anyway. I followed him. He made me sit properly in the car, the fabric of the gown was so soft. After half an hour we stopped in front of a small house. A guard opened the gate for us, I became shocked when my eyes landed on the name plate.

Ava..

Did he bring me to his mom's house. I gulped down and didn't react. After parking the car he guided me towards the backside of the house. It's completely dark but the next moment Abir clapped for once and the surroundings became lightened with small colourful lights. I was amazed seeing the decorations.

"I managed to arrange this ! " I heard him saying, I started walking towards the garden. It's so beautiful.

I could not blink my eyes. This is exactly how I wanted to celebrate my birthday. No party no friends only a few close people. I took a round around myself while watching the beauty until flower petals started falling on me. I saw Abir clicking my picture. A bright smile lingered on my lips..

Everything was so well decorated that I couldn't even blink.

"Sit there! " he said pointing at the swing.

I did as he said, he captured a lot of pictures of me from different angles. I was living my fairytale life. He was wearing a formal suit, I wanted to take a picture with him but could not ask.

Keeping the camera on the table, he came to me and pushed the swing gently. I leaned back and closed my eyes while the swing was moving back and forth in slow motion. Flower petals were falling on me. It was a moment I will never forget in my lifetime.

"Sir! Here is the cake, " Abir stopped the swing and went to bring the cake. I was still sitting on the swing, he kept the cake box on my lap and lightened the candle. "Make a wish! " I closed my eyes to make a wish but all I could see was his face. I tried to imagine other things but it didn't happen. I just blew the candle and cut the cake. He was clapping his hands together while wishing me. I first fed him , he fed me too. Then I took a piece for myself.

He sat down on his knees and started cutting the cake into small pieces to distribute it among the guards. He stood up to take the box but I forwarded my hand and took another piece of cake.

"My birthday, I will eat more! " I said proudly, his face dropped hearing my words. I didn't know what happened to him. He didn't say anything and left to give the cakes to the guards .

"What happened ? Did I say something wrong? " I asked as he returned back, he faked a smile and shook his head negatively.

"Yuvani used to say the same line on her every birthday, so.. Leave it! "

"I am so sorry, I didn't want to remind you about her! "

"When you are around, I don't remember anyone. Don't feel sad, forget it! "

His words made my heart flutter, I felt a knot forming in my stomach.

"Can I have a dance with the beautiful Princess? " he asked and forwarded his hand. "Sure! " I placed my palm on his.

He slid his hand around my waist, I kept my hand on his chest and intertwined our other hand together . We both moved our body in sync. Holding my finger he twirled me and then pulled me into him in a jerk. My heart beat started beating fast when our bodies collided with each other. Our eyes were locked.

We were dancing perfectly until my heel got stuck in a hole of the ground and I lost my balance. But to my luck the swing was behind me and I fell on it along with Abir. Before I could fall back on the ground I held the rope tightly, Abir fell upon me. His lips brushed on the crook of my neck, shivers ran down my spine. I felt a jolt of current in my every bone. He pulled himself back immediately and muttered a sorry. I tucked a hair strand behind my ear and stared at the ground.

"Umm give some poses, I will click your pictures! " he said breaking the awkward silence, I nodded and started posing for pictures.

It was one of my best birthdays. I had slapped him on his birthday for which I still regret but the way he lightened my mood and celebrated my birthday, I will never forget it. This day I will always feel sad by remembering him and our moments..
