Let's Get Into the story

Third persons pov:

     After pragyas parents left she and her sister bulbul went to take some rest in the guest rooms of the pack house. 

     But, abhi’s parents called him to have a little chat.  Abhi sighed knowing what is about to come soon. 

Abhi’s pov:

     I met my parents in my dad’s office room in our house.  The moment I stepped in the room, they turned their heads towards me with a glare set in their face.

“I am disappointed abhi” neil stated.

     “Ouch!?”  abhi sassily said but deep down he is hurt. Hurt, because that is what he is..

A disappointment.  To his father. To his mother. To his pack. Even to his ‘mate’.

     “ENOUGH ABHI!!” this is it was his mom ragini who yelled.

     “mom-“

     “Don’t ‘mom’ me abhi.  what were you thinking when you rejected your mate? Do you understand there are things the future head alpha aka you need to fulfil in order to take over the pack right?  Which is giving ur pack a luna? When you tried to rejected her as mate, you didn’t only break a promise.  You broke your mate’s heart.  You broke your packs trust by rejecting their future lune”, she exclaimed, scolding abhi with her eyes filled with hurt.

“What kind of alpha rejects his mate who is an omega?  Have you ever thought about the pain she has to go through just because she is born as an omega in her pack?  You broke my trust as well abhi! I expected a lot in you…”  his father neil spat with disappointment laced in his heart..

     “And you did all this for who?  For A snake who only wanted your money till now?”  ragini spat with venom mentioning about tanu.

     “What?  Tanu?  NO! YOU ARE LYING TANU WOULD NEVER-“

     “she is abhi”  neil calmly stated and played a clip of video which showed tanu stealing the pack’s money using a key that beloned to abhi.

Abhi’s face paled.  He couldn’t believe it. 

  “she said her mom was sick. Maybe she stole it to pay for her medical bills”, abhi tried to convince his parents and himself. 

     “abhi, she doesn’t have a mom. Her mother died years ago when they were attacked by vampires in her previous pack.  That’s why she and her father joined our pack after that attack”, neil said calmly but also a bit sad, because after all it must really hurt his son to finally know about the truth of his ‘lover’. 

     “Her house is empty abhi.  No trace of her or her father”, neil added convinced she ran away with the pack’s money with her father after she stole it.

     Abhi’s face was blank of any emotions.  Even his mother couldn’t read whats going on, in his head.  Abhi sighed.

“OK! Fine, shouldn’t have expected more from her anyways”, he said a bit of hatred laced in his voice. 

“she will pay for this”, he decided. 

     “Mom, Dad, I am sorry. I really am. I know I disappointed and hurted a lot with my reckless behaviour.  But please I forgive me and give me one more chance to change everything”, his voice cracked a bit as he begged his parent’s forgiveness.

     Neil and ragini looked and each other and nodded. 

Ragini took a deep breath and said, “if your mate forgives you and accepts you as her mate then we will forgive you”.

     Abhi nodded and mumbled a thanks while walking out of the room knowing that he is dismissed.

     Even if he ducked this up he can always make it right.

He took a deep breath with his eyes closed and counted 1, 2, 3 and let all his worries go.

He went to his mate’s room and knocked the room but he didn’t get a reply so he entered to watch his mate rolled in the mattress with a blanket.   Cute!

      I walked near her and patted her head.  She must have had it really hard.  And continued to pat her hair which he found incredibly soft to touch.

He smiled at his beautiful mate who is sleeping peacefully under his watch.  Her lips was formed a pout in her sleep, and he was tempted to wipe that pout away by claiming her lips.

     He snapped out of his wolf’s dirty thoughts.  He was not sure if it was his wolf’s thoughts or his.

He shook his head and finally woke her from her slumber. She looked cute with her hair dishevelled in a mess, a beautiful mess. 

He wanted to held her close and whisper to her how beautiful she is.

    “we have to talk”, he decided to say it instead.

PRAGYA’S POV:
 
        “There are ur clothes in that suit case, fresh up and we will leave somewhere to have a talk”, he said pointing a case and left.

  After I was ready I went to him.  He took me to the forest near his pack.  As I never really went outside my pack, everything seemed new to me.

I liked the mild breeze and warm sun hitting my skin in the forest, it felt fresh. 

     Suddenly he stopped walking and pointed somewhere, I followed where his fingers are pointing to find a small waterfall in the forest. 

We went there and enjoyed the view. 

     “So, when are you going to talk?”  I asked him breaking the silence.  I asked him a bit harsh because I am still angry at him.

     He sighed, “Pragya, I know I was a jerk to you.  But there is a reason why I did that”.

“Its because you have a girlfriend isn’t it? I know.. I understand. But it hurts a lot because waited for you all my life you know-” I tried to say thing I want to say but the is a lump formed in my neck didn’t let me.

I felt like crying.  The one who I waited for all my life already have someone else.

     “Not as long as me though” he cut me off.

     “I was 12 when I came to know what a fated mate is. Ever since I dreamed about having one.  I waited for my ma- I waited for you. But when I turned 18 you never showed up. The people around me started talking stuff like I will never find my mate because I don’t have one.  I felt really sad.  I believed what they said. Somehow that witch of my ex, tanu manipulated me to become his boyfriend telling me that we are destined and shit because both of us didn’t have a mate at that time.  I was desperate for love so I said yes.  But my wolf never liked her.  She was not bad, I did like her so I kept her around and promised to her all that...But my wolf never liked her.  She was not bad, I did like her so I kept her around and promised to her all that. But Now, I know she only loved my money. A snake.  But past is past.  Now I have you. I finally found you, my mate.  and what I did was really stupid, so. Will you please forgive me?”   Pragya listened to everything he said.

     “I will not forgive you abhi” pragya said....
