Chaper 9
Everyone was relieved upon Don's return and Dumon was taken to be healed. GG can't do anything to fix Dumon's broken mind and hands him off to the SpellCaster. The SpellCasters try every spell they can to try and fix Dumon broken mind but nothing works. No matter what they did Dumon didn't regain consciousness. The guests vacation was nearly over but Nash didn't want to leave, he heard that Dumon was broken beyond repair but he still wanted to try and help him in anyway that he could.
"Please father let me go see him, I want to help him."
"No, there's nothing you can do to help him Nash. At most you'll just be in the way." The King told his son.
Dumon has since been put back in a mental capsule in the hopes that maybe he'll miraculously heal, but so far nothing has happened. He brain activity has ceased completely and his vitals are slowly dropping little by little, he looks pale as if he's sick and his chest barely rise and falls with each breath he takes. Against his fathers wishes he goes to see Dumon anyway, finding him in the capsule room. His capsule is the only one in use right now. Nash puts his hand on the capsule and looks up at Dumon. He doesn't look like he's in any pain and is at peace.
"I know we don't know each other, but please, don't go. From the moment I saw you I could tell that your different from all the others, I could see how special you truly are." Nash whispers hoping Dumon could hear him.
Dumon remains still and lifeless, his body unmoving expect for the small rise and fall of his chest as he breathes. Nash feels crushed and defeated, he wants so badly to hold Dumon in his arms that he does the unthinkable. He brakes the capsule to get to Dumon, the glass on the capsule brakes after a few good hits and the liquid spills out onto the floor. Nash pulls Dumon's lifeless boy out of the capsule and falls to his knees hugging him tightly.
"Please don't leave me or the people here who care for you. We need you." Nash whisper into his ear hugging him tightly.
Don sneaks into the room feeling a disturbance there but keeps himself hidden from site, he sees that Nash has taken Dumon out of his capsule. Dumon lays lifeless in Nash's arms, his skin seems to be growing paler in color and even feels a bit cold to the touch.
"Please don't leave me." Nash begs, taking his human form which he doesn't due that often. His Barain emblem necklace falling to the certain of his chest.
Don shares Nash's grief but stays where he is instead of trying to comfort him.
"Please don't leave me." Nash beg as he begins to cry, he would do anything to have Dumon wake up.
Dumon's breathing was becoming shallower and shallower, his skin growing colder. With his brain unable to function properly his body begins to shut down, his life slowly fading away in Nash's arms.
