Epilogue
Rakshit looked at the silver hanging on her neck and touched the R shaped locked before smiling at her.
Drishti:- bhai ke lea hai
She tried covering up but he knew what it was for. He laughed seeing her attempts of covering it just because he was teasing her for loving him.
He smiled for a bleak second before turning to the other side and asking for hee hand. She gladly slipped her hand in his and walked with him towards the table.
It was their date. Although Rakshit had to through several troubles in proving that he indeed loved her and that Lavanya thing was a lie, they were together without much trouble from any third party.
Drishti looked at the decorations happily, the loveliest thing about the decorations was how elegantly they were done. It was neither anything too normal or anything too decorative. Just a perfect atmosphere to blend in with the feelings which were finally allowed to sink from the surface and run in deeper.
Silver and black decorations added to the extra calmness just like they always did to me. Flowers were kept, but only at the table which made it much more eloquent. The wise and unexaggerated use of flowers, the color coordination, the limited decore and the blanket of stars above us seemed perfect.
Rakshit:- tumhe acha laga?
Rakshit rubbed the back of his neck nervously, something he had been a lot lately.
Drishti:- theek hi hai
She said, intentionally making faces of disinterest that scared him. He wanted this to be special for her but her reponse wasn't good.
Drishti:- mazak tha
She said, kissing his cheeks.
Rakshit:- good. Nahi to mein tumhe yahan se neche phek deta.
Rakshit looked at her astonished face. Understanding the obvious reason of the act he wrapped his hands around her waist as he pulled her closer.
If anyone said that she did not look pissed, it would be an absolute lie. Her face clearly held some of the worst signs of annoyance which flew away once Rakshit started laughing at her.
Drishti:- Are we just going to keep standing or there is something else planned for us?
She knocked his shoulder and pushed him off her with gentleness.
She felt his pinky finger circling around her own pinky as he lead her towards the table and pulled the chair for her. As soon as she sat down, he was on his knees, right in front of her holding my hands close to his chest.
Rakshit:- You are precious to me Drishti and will always be. I don't want to make big promises like I will do this for you, will do that for you but I will try my best to keep you happy.
She knew he wasn't good at words but who needed words when actions did more?
He traces her lips with an intent gaze that sends shivers down her spine
Rakshit:- I will try that these lips would continue smiling for most of our life
His hands now moved to her eyes, caressing the bottom of them
Rakshit:- If you ever cry I will be wuth you. And reason for your tears hopefully would never be me again Drishti, I love you
He mouthed, wiping away the tear that just escaped Drishti's eyes.
Drishti:- I love you more
She smiled as he stood up pulling her with him. She was determined to tell him how she feel but he was not willing to listen to anything.
Because it was enough for the time. She loved him, he loved her, thus they didn't feel the need to use sentences when they both were bad at it.
Together:- I love you
Their lips met in a loving kiss as the rain pour outside, celebrating their love.
****
"Ah!" Yelled Rakshit as Drishti was sitting on the bed turning her face to the opposite side, her arms crossed arcoss her chest.
It had been two years of their wedding but things never changed.
Rakshit:- Drishti I'm sorry na. Agli bar se nahi karunga.
Drishti:- nahi! Tumhara har bar yahi hai. Mujhe tumse koi bat nahi krni.
Rakshit:- Drishti please na. Acha sorry ek bar aur.
He tried holding her but she pushed him off the bed and laid on the her stomach, tucking a pillow under head as usual.
Rakshit:- nahi krta na age se aisa! Itna gussa bhi kya hai.
He cried and remembered what had happened. In an attempt to make her happy he went out to buy something sweet for her to eat and thus forget the clothes in the washing machine which he put as it was his turn to do the laundry.
Moreover he mixed the white and the colored clothes- so yeah, he did a huge mistake since all their white clothes were green, blue and pink now.
Drishti:- sab kuch mujhe hi krna prta hai! Tumse ek kam bhi dhang se nahi hota! Age se mere ghar mein koi kam mat krna.
Rakshit (murmurs):- ghar to hum dono ne apni apni kamai dal ke lea hai pr ispe mera hak kyu nahi hai?
Drishti:- kuch bola?
He panicked.
He didn't want to anger her even more so it was the best that his feelings were inside him.
Rakshit:- nahi nahi. Kuch bhi to nahi.
He says beside her and keeps a hand on her back that goes to her head and holds it like a football.
Rakshit:- tumhara sir bahut acha hai
Now that wasn't what she would want to hear.
Rakshit and romantic talks. It was like these two words never existed together. Everytime he tried talking cheesey, she would question herself on why she evem listened to him talk.
Drishti:- wow! Thank you!
She yelled as she turned around and laid on her back. He sighed, knowing that his dialogue which he supposed was a tough competitor to those bollywood romantics everyone awed at.
Keeping his head on her stomach he wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her closer.
Rakshit:- ek to mera sir dard kar raha hai upar se tumhe meri nahi kapro ki chinta hai. Huh! Mujhse to pyar hi nahi koi.
Drishti:- acha?
Her voice softened. Despite being mad at him, she knew he worked hard. Even she did work hard but Rakshit was still a part of Romi's mafia and thus his work required high physical skills that needed constant training.
Sitting in a proper position she took his head in her lap and caressed his head as he closed his eyes.
Drishti:- Rakshit, oo Rakshit
His eyes opened faster than they shut as he tried to get away from her but pulled back by her by his head and pinned harshly to her lap.
Rakshit:- Drishti no! Please!
Drishti:- Tum ho- ek number ke nikame!
Now her voice wasn't something which would sooth his imaginary headache but only cause a real one. That was her lullaby she sang in the way of the song, Waalian.
(Listen to it if you want to imagine how she sang it)
Drishti:- tumhare jaisa bande yaha haseen koi na, bhukkad pagal befkoof batmeez koi na, tumne jab mere ghar mein kadam rakha tha, use zyada samay koi na kharab koi gaya.
He listened to her with a depressed face but didn't dare utter a word for she was still caressing his head lovingly and if he said anything he would just smack his forehead.
Drishti:- khush to thi mein bahut pehle, tumhare ane ke bad barbad ho gai, chor dekho dhund dhund kaise harte, jab hamare bed ke neche saman(illegal weapons) tumne chupaya, mein dimaag apna har tumhare age gai, common sense meri suicide kar gai, akhir mein pagal mein puri ho gai, useless ho jo tum chahae jo jaeeeee!
Cleared her throat as if she was a professional.
(Begins her own tune)
Drishti:- na tumhe koi akal
Na tumne kabhi mujhe kuch acha dia
He bhagwan, ye kaise banda bana dia!
And literal tears came out of his eyes because her words made no sense.
Drishti:- jab tak! Tum ho mere sang-
Zindagi nere bari khatre mein!
Kapre mere rang birange!
She stopped singing once she felt sobbing and looked at Rakshit who was cleaning his tears.
All he wanted was some time with her.
Some peaceful time.
Drishti:- Rakshit kya hua? Are tntn mat lo, ye to sirf starting hai. Meine mukhra abhi start bhi nahi kia.
Rakshit:- Drishti please! Krna bhi mat nahi to mein mar jaunga! Sachi mein. Bas bahut ho gaya! Ek kam karo agar yahi krna hota hai to bhagwan ka vasta tum kam par hi raha karo.
Drishti:- hey! Tumne meri itni surili avaz aur mere pyar se likhe gane ka apman kia hai!
Rakshit:- char minute aur sunta to khan phat jate mere!
An hour passed
Rakshit was seen trying to apologize but Drishti keot ignoring him and banged the dishes in the sink to show her anger before actually cleaning them like a sane person.
Rakshit:- are meri jaan, lao ye mein kar dun
He tried beinh sweet but inside he was scared shitless. Rakshit Shergill but-
>>>>>>> Drishti Shergill
And the Supremacy never ended.
She put the dishes at their places after wiping off the layer of water with a cotton cloth and went back to her room.
Rakshit:- ye iska bahut ho gaya ab.
He thought and went behind her.
Picking her from the back he threw her on the bed despite her attempts to get free and threw a blanket on her. He took a pillow in hands and started hitting her till the blanket automatically fell off her.
Rakshit:- ah aoh!
He said with lips forming an o as he saw Drishti's hairs messed up and her duppata on torn from a place.
And he knew he was dead.
