Everything was blurry as Jin's tears fell from his jet black eyes. He didn't want to let her go but he knew that this was for the better. Jin and Kate's relationship was toxic. They were once a happy couple but someone break them. It was Jealousy that turned their love into pride and anger.

Both of them lost each other's trusts. Fights and tears were part of their every night. They were emotionally hurting each other. For two years, they were like that until Jin decided to let her go even if it kills him. He loved her more than anything but it wasn't healthy anymore. They needed to grow. They needed to find each other's path. After all, Jin believed that God has a better plan for them. He believed that maybe, it wasn't their season yet so Jin made a promise to himself. It was to wait for her until the day when they are both ready.

Jin went on with his life as an engineering student and Kate, as a business economics major. Kate was on her fourth year when Jin passed the board exam. Both of them were doing great in life whilst creating their own path.

Five years later, destiny interfered, Jin and Kate met again.

Euphoria filled Jin's heart after seeing Kate, the woman whom he first and last fall for. His love for her did not change or if so, it deepens. But Jin knew that he can only love her now from afar.

"Congratulations on your upcoming wedding," Jin, with a painful smile, greeted Kate when they met on their highschool friends' reunion. Jin wasn't surprised. Time changes everything; it just that he had hoped that she would wait for him. That maybe, Kate still believes in destiny and in all the hopeful words that love has created.

"Thanks." Kate replied, and with trembling hands, Jin took the sealed wedding invitation which she handed. Silence filled the air as pain tormented Jin's fragile heart. He didn't want to face it but he needed to, for her happiness.

"But you're wrong," Kate corrected, "it wasn't really my wedding; it's my sister's." A meaningful smile formed from Kate's pink lips after saying it.

"It's been five years, Jin. Aren't you tired of waiting?" Kate asked and smiled at him, "because I do."
