{ Sophia's POV }

For someone like me who never saw huge amount of blood, Liya covered in blood was so shocking... I was even reminded of a horror movie I watched few years back, The movie was so bloody that I stopped watching horrors.

As Liya looked at her red wet hands I did what any girl would do... I screamed...

My heart started beating crazily when I saw Keira fall.

I was thankful that Zay popped out of nowhere, for someone who was not at any class.

I literally thought that he went home.

For someone who challenged Keira... he looked quite... 'worried'.

He looked like he will kill the person who did that to Keira.

When the nurse called us inside, I went in ready to see a bloody mess... and guess what it true. The room was covered in bloody tissues and bandages. And Keira was laid down on the bed on her front... her upper body completely 'naked' .

We... including Zay gasped, when we saw her. Not because we saw a pretty girl who was 'not' wearing a shirt nor a bra. We gasped to see the back of this beautiful girl covered with bloody scars.

Just seeing the scars, my eyes started watering.

How much pain did she suffer. Not only that, she was at school, literally talking to us as if nothing happened.

"The wound in her back is due to whipping. The bleeding ones are made recently, but there are other scars which looks like it is made one or two years back." the doctor explains.

"not only that, the slashes seems to be not treated. Thus the wounds are not fully healed and it seems she was whipped before the previous marks healed. Also due to frequent blood loss, usually she should've died, but it looks like this young lady is stronger that what we thought." he continues.

It is after the doctor finishes that I hear someone sob. I turn to look at Liya to find tearsvleaking from her eyes... something I've never seen in my life.

I then find my eyes blurring.

"I don't know about the one who is doing this to her. But I suggest that you should complain, Mr.Thomas. She needs enough rest. I prefer you let her sleep. Also please don't cover her, wearing clothing will hurt her." the doctor concludes and leaves.

I look at Zay to find him fuming with anger.

Why is he angry, its not as if he... or does he like her...

Half an hour later, I saw Keira eyes twitching.

Zay goes and stands behind a curtain.

When she was fully awake, "H...how...how d...did you hold on?" I barely ask, as I burst into tears.

"Who?" Liya interjects.

Keira kept quiet and we got the answer.

The doctor came in and asked us to not to make her talk, injects her with a sedative and leaves.

The angry Liya drags me just the second after Keira closes her eyes.

"Where are you going?" Zay asks.

"Payback. And please don't follow us. You can go home." Liya replies.

It was easy to find Rachel. We just asked one of the students and they told that she will be at Risa and Dila 's home. They are twins, who basically are Rachel's 'minions'.

And well, it was easy to find their house too.

We just searched for a bright pink sports car.

We rang the bell, and a tired looking lady opened the door, "yes, may I ask who you are?" she asked. "We are looking for Rachel Hans." I say.
"Just a minute, come inside" she says and goes upstairs towards a room with blaring music.

5 minutes later Rachel, Dila and Risa comes down.

"We only want to have a talk with Rachel." I say to them. "If you want to talk with her, that will be in front of us." Dila says and her sister nods in agreement.

"Well, we only want to talk with Rachel, after all it's about her family member that you guys might not even know she had." Liya says emphasizing her words.

Rachel expression went from sassy look to a total dreadful one.

"Ummm, you guys go upstairs, I will come back after a few minutes." Rachel says to the twins and they goes back to their room, puzzled.

Rachel leads us to another room situated at the end of the house to remove us from prying ears of the people in the house.

Rachel starts as soon as she locked the door ,"So, what's your deal, huh, for coming all the way to this house, it must be a big deal. If it's not — " slap...
The room only had Rachel whisper. She could not even complete her sentence when Liya silenced her. Rachel stood in front of us, her face turned turned rightward, her eyes as big as Jupiter.
She must have been shocked. I guess it's the first time since anyone have slapped her bitchy face. Oh, I guess a lot of people might have dreamed to see this moment. Too bad only I witnessed this amazing event.
But I am sad, because I wanted to be the person to slap her. I guess Rachel came out of her shock.

She looked straight at us, still holding her left cheek and shouts, "How dare you... Don't you know who I am. You slapped the wrong per—" slap... Another slap echoed in the room, this time it was me.

Rachel, her head turned left, holding her right hand in her cheek, was a marvelous sight.

"I know what you and your family did to Keira yesterday." Liya says in a tone full of hate. "Next time it won't be just slap and not in a closed area. It would be in front of the whole school population. And also me and Liya learnt boxing. So be warned." I say to her in the same tone.

After that we did not wait a single second there. We exited the room leaving Rachel who had red handprints on both her cheeks.

I turned back to look at her one more time... one look... that's all it took to confirm that she will not do anything to our Keira. After all girls like Rachel will even kill a person to keep their social life and popularity intact.

We returned to the hospital as fast as we can. It's not a good idea to leave
Keira alone.

We entered her room just in time. Of course,  there was no sight of Zay anywhere near the hospital. Guess he left after all. And he I thought he cared for her.

We asked a nurse for her condition, she told she woke up just now and the doctor is discussing with her.

"Actually, you need to be here for a few days."I hear the doctor say. But Keira insists that she need to leave and that she will take care of her body. "Fine, I guess I will prescribe some medicines. But you have to come here frequently until I say that you are cured 'completely'." the doctor says after thinking for some time and leaves.

"Thank you, both of you for staying with me till this time." Keira says looking at the wall clock.

WHAT

"We just came now after leaving before." I say to her. "Was someone else here?" Liya asks. But we both know who it was... The only other person who knew about Keira being at the hospital... The person who is nowhere in sight. The person who left Keira alone when we went out.... or so we thought...

I see Keira look at her hands. It looks warm... was he holding her hands till now...

So he does care... does he... like her...
