For a few hours since Rachel broke the news of my parents' murder, I literally couldn't move nor speak.

I couldn't even feel any type of emotions.

All I did was cry.

Like a new born baby...

Every one stayed away from me... giving me space.

Everyone but Zay.

Zay...

He stuck to me as if we were glued together... Like a magnet.

But, him, holding me gave me a sense of peace.

He was making sure that I didn't collapse.

We were sitting in the living room, my head on Zay's shoulder when Rachel called.

Apparently, she went back home as her parents came back and I didn't know.

I didn't even know that I had dinner with Zay's family... I didn't even see them. My mind was not in this world at all.

The few hours after the news and before Rachel called was fuzzy. I only remember a few parts here and there.

Rachel called at night and revealed another news.

It was then that I snapped back to my consciousness.

The shocking part was that when Rachel asked her so called parents the story and when they told her everything the sneaky b*tch recorded it for evidence.

And I didn't call her b*tch because I'm pissed.... but because I liked what she did.

In other words, she is a good b*tch.

She also said to stay at Zay's house for a few days, 'cause if I came home now Franks would definitely sell me off.

Just after the call Ryan and Jack went out with all the evidences.

When I asked where they went, Zay said that they went to the Police Station.

I was alone in the huge balcony, looking at the stars, when I heard someone call me.

"Are you feeling well? Keira" A beautiful woman asked.

I look at her without answering.

"I'm Elizabeth Thomas..... Zay's mother." She says.

"Oh... I'm Keira Scarlet... and I'm Zay's....... umm.. Zay's classmate?" I stand up and introduce myself to her rather like a question. I seriously don't know where we actually stand.

"Aren't you Zay's girlfriend?" She asks me, smiling.

"Umm...."

"You are the one who he kissed.... not once but twice...isn't?" she asks, still smiling.

"I'm sorry... "

"Oh dear, look at you... you are sweating darling... Am I intimidating?" She asks and have a hearty laugh.

I smile along with her.

"It seems like you didn't notice us coming in neither having dinner."

"Us?" I ask her.

"Me, Zay's father and his sisters." She says, raising one of her eyebrows.

She laughs as I couldn't answer.

"My husband, Zachary, looks exactly like an older version of Zay.... My first child, Elena looks like me... Zay is the second and lastly my last child, Zera, you could say she is pretty much a mix of Zach and me. You will understand when you meet them."

I nod.

"She was my friend." She states.

I look at her, questionably.

"Keara... your mother. We were good friends since Zach and Daniel were best buddies. It was shocking to hear that Daniel was expelled before the senior game." She sighs.

"But all of us were happy when we heard that he was financially stable... We were very happy when he was named as one of the billionaires of the world. Their marriage was beautiful... Both of us were pregnant at that time... I was a few months ahead."

"After we had children, the time we spend together decreased.... I was always going around the world with my husband, while Keara and Daniel stayed at one place. We went to Spain to do a business deal, Zach forgot to switch off his phone and it started ringing at the meeting, he didn't take the call and switched it off."

After the meeting we usually keep a party, when we reached home, he saw tons of missed call from everyone, from Mr. Harrington to our family. Just then Ryan's father called... He was happy from signing the deal but his face shriveled up when Raphael told something."

"When the call ended he sat right where he was standing, called his secretary to book the tickets immediately. I asked him the reason.... 'He's gone' That's all he told me."

"Then Elena started to scram for me, I went to her. The T.V was on and the headlines said 'CHAIRMAN OF THE KINGS COMPANY, DANIEL ROSS DIES IN A HIT-AND-RUN' and-"

"Its okay, you don't have to say." I tell her.

"After the incident we never saw either of their families... The only thing we heard was the news of her death." She says.

"Now, how about we talk about the naughty things that Zay did." She says to me, to take me out from misery.

I nod.

{ ZAY'S POV }

"Zera... Have you seen Keira." I ask my sister.

"Nop."

I searched in all the places she knows of my house. I started worrying about her.

I hope she doesn't do anything bad.

I was near the huge balcony we have, when I heard someone laugh.

{ This is the balcony - minus the trees and plants.... and add chairs)

"Did he seriously do that?" I hear a melodious voice ask someone.

It felt like a huge brick was taken away from my chest. I sighed, thanking God, for keeping her safe.

"Yes, he did." I heard my mom's voice.

And I heard her have a hearty laugh.

Oh no....

Is mom telling her.... oh sh*t.

I run to the place where they are sitting and talking.

A startled Scarlet looks at me and after two seconds starts laughing more than before.

"Mom.... what did you tell her?" I ask.

"Just a few stories..."

"Like what?" I ask again.

"Like... how you used to eat your Elena's crayons.... and how you used to like the sole of our shoes and- "

"Stop...... mom." I plead her.

"Okay...okay.... I will stop.... At least I told her all the important ones." She says.

"I will leave you two now." Mom says and leaves.

"You looked so cute when you were quivering under your mother." She says and laughs lightly.

I look at her annoyed.

"Was it tasty.... Hmm.. I guess I'll cook crayon pasta and crayon cake if you ask me to cook." She says, acting innocent.

"Oh shut up." I say.

"I'm not gonna keep quiet.... What will you do?" She rebels.

"I have ways to make you shut that pretty little lips. Why don't you keep talking and we'll see." I answer and move closer to her.

She keeps quiet.... stunned.

"I....I'm - " She starts.... But I shut her up.

My lips molded onto her, moving slowly.

She too started kissing me back.

Oh sweet love.

If I get to do this every single day, I don't ever wanna go away from her.

To tell you the truth, I does not have any experience kissing. The kiss at Rachel's house... at the party was my first... and I don't know what pushed me to do that.

Kissing Keira felt so good... so right...

And I don't ever want to stop it.

I want her.

We stop as we couldn't breathe.

We started giving each other small pecks and I started moving down to her neck, nibbling and kissing her sweet skin.

"I love you, Scarlet."

I felt her stiffen.

I realized that I said it out loud.

I slowly meet her eyes, to see them happy.

She's happy I told her that.

I held her hand and kissed her palm and her knuckles.

"I love you.... Scarlet... I love you so much." I tell her.

Her face becomes beet red.

It now or never.

"Keira..... Will....... Will you be my... girlfriend?" I say the girlfriend part low.

"What?"

"I asked... will... WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND?" I ask her, closing my eyes.... I don't know why she is making me so flustered....

No one ever made me feel like this.

I slowly open my eyes.

A tear falls from her beautiful eyes.

"No...no... love... shh... don't cry... I shouldn't have asked now." I tell her.

"No.... I'm .... I'm happy." She says.

She then looks at me... joins her forehead on mine.

"Yes.... Zay." She says.
