January 23, morning, Graphen residents, 6:23 A.M

It was early in the morning at the Graphen residences. Makoto was sound asleep. Well he was until he heard some noises coming from downstairs. Saber must be doing something down there. Makoto decided to get up and check. When he got down he saw Saber in the kitchen trying to cook something.

Saber: Hmm...

Makoto: Saber?

Saber: Oh master, what are you doing up

Makoto: I heard some noises. Didn't know it was you.

Saber: Sorry if I woke you. I just wanted to try doing something nice for you.

Makoto: Well thanks.

Saber: I not really a good cook, I'm trying my best,

Makoto: That's fine, I could help you out if you want.

Saber: Um sure. Thank you Master.

Makoto taught Saber some basics of cooking. After about half an hour they managed to cook up something.

A little bit later

Makoto: That was really good. You and I make a great team in the kitchen.

Saber: Master...

Makoto: Sorry. Anyway I'm gonna get changed.

Saber: Why?

Makoto: Well I wanna have a little relaxing day.

Saber: Don't you have school today?

Makoto: Yeah but I already called in sick. Besides This Grail stuff has really been stressing me out. Also you should get changed as well, some time ago Yuko brought clothes for you. As good as my mom's old cloths look on you its winter time and you need something to fit you.

Saber: Understandable.

Makoto: Also you could consider this another scouting experience but on the ground.

Saber: Yeah but its more a of a relaxation day.

Makoto: ...Go get dressed...

Sometime later

The both of them were on the streets of Fubuki city. Saber was wearing a more winter like dress.

(We all can agree she is cute)

Saber: So where do we go first.

Makoto: First off, the shopping district.

Saber: Why?

Makoto: I actually need to get some ingredients.

Saber: Ok, I have to ask, where do you get your money from.

Makoto: I work part time jobs, and also I get the money from my father.

Saber: What does your father do?

Makoto: I don't... really know. He never told me. All I know is that he does is travel around the world and do business.

Saber: Hm...

Makoto: What?

Saber: Never mind.

Makoto: Ok.

Makoto went up on head and into the Market district. Saber followed him. The whole place was crowded. Saber looked at the shops. The modern world was something after all. She had been given knowledge of it from the grail, but still seeing everything was still a surprise.

Makoto: Over here.

Her master called out to her. She made her way to him.

Makoto: I'm gonna head in this store. You wanna come in.

Saber: I have to, it is my duty to protect you after all.

Makoto: Oh yeah...

Saber: Something wrong?

Makoto: Nothing...

Makoto: Does she really have to think of herself as a bodyguard or so?

Unknown to them, both were being watched. A woman with magenta hair was watching them. It was Bazzet. In all honesty she didn't expect to find the two be here.

Bazzet: ...

Seeing the two acting causal she decided not to watch them. It may be her job to tail them at times but here it was just normal business and nothing else.

Mini-timeskip

Both Makoto and Saber were now walking again. Makoto was carrying two bags. Saber insisted on carrying them but Makoto said no.

Saber: So where are we going next?

Makoto: To a shop.

Saber: What type of shop?

Makoto: An auto-repair shop.

Saber: Um why?

Makoto: I have a motorcycle in repair.

Saber: You ride a motorcycle?

Makoto: Yup. I got it some time ago then I accidentally recked it... So I went to the repair shop to get it fixed. Though I doubt it is fixed up yet. Just gonna see the progress of it.

Saber: How did you reck it.

Makoto: Well actually some guys drove in front of me. Swerved it into a wall. Thank goodness I jumped off because my skull would have been busted.

Saber: Well I'm glad you are alive and ok Makoto.

Finally the both of them made it to the shop.

Makoto: Yo Jack! You here?!

There was the sound of metal hitting the floor before a man came out. His whole face was cover in dirt. He had brown hair with some black in it. Must be from the dirt. Other than that he was a nice looking guy.

Makoto started to speak, however when he spoke he sounded foreign.

Makoto(english): How you do my man?

Jack(English): Pretty good. Oh I see you got a friend with you. A girl no less. Are you two-

Makoto(english): No we are not. She is just a friend.

Jack nodded. He looked over to Saber.

Jack: The name is Jack Hanggins. And you are?

Saber: Oh um, my name. It's-

Makoto: Sakura, Sakura Aki.

Jack: Well nice to meet you miss Aki.

Saber gave a sweatdrop as she shook his hand. Makoto have a thumbs up to her while Jack wasn't looking.

Makoto: Anyway Jack how is the old girl coming along.

Jack: She's almost done. Give me a few more days and she is all fixed.

Makoto: And how exactly is a few more days.

Jack: Say about Five.

Makoto: That's good enough for me. Anyway I think it's about time for us to head home.

Jack: Hey Makoto, can I talk with you for a second.

Makoto: Oh sure.

Jack pulled Makoto off to the side leaving Saber confused. She waited for around two minutes before the two came back.

Jack: Alright you two have fun.

Saber: Huh?

Makoto: Let's go Sakura.

Makoto took Saber's hand and pulled her out.

Saber: Ok Makoto, couple of questions. Who was he?

Makoto: An friend from New York City that's in America. Jack moved here some time go. We meet when I was taking some part time jobs and he taught me English.

Saber: Second question, what's with the made up name? Sakura Aki?

Makoto: Well I just can't call you Saber in public, it be weird. And what if an "enemy" heard.

Saber: Ok. Last thing. What did Jack say to you.

Makoto: Oh nothing important. Hey it's still nice out, want to go to the park.

Saber: Sure Makoto. That would be nice to do.

Later

It was now petty late. Both Master and Servant spent their time making it to the park.

Makoto: Huh... I didn't think we would make here this late. God damn it...

Saber: It's fine, let's head home.

Makoto: Yeah... I think we can just take a shortcut through the park.

Both began walking. The sun was already down and the moon was rising.

Saber: This park... it's...

Makoto: I know. It has an odd feeling to it. A great disaster happened here. I guess the feeling of it never really disappeared. So many people died in this area...

Saber: Who's there!

Saber's outfit then changed to her servant wears. A man came out with two strange swords dragging across the ground. It was the man Koshi.

Koshi; Well well well, a servant and a master alone in the park together. With no one around to see this. And don't try to escape. I am fats enough to kill you.

He pointed to Makoto.

Saber: Who are you?

Koshi: I am Koshi, a member of the Snake eyes. And tonight is a good night for me. I wanted to have some fun but it looks like I'm getting a lot more then just killing. A fight!

Makoto: Tch...

Makoto dropped his bags. Saber readied herself.

Makoto: ...

Saber: Master. Let me handle this.

Makoto: Ok Saber.

Koshi: Ah Saber... the strongest Servent besides Berserker. Well then... let's test out your strength! Now don't die before I have my fun!

Koshi charged at Saber and Saber did the same.
