Author's POV:

Currently Varisa's siting in the stands along with Maria and Natasa. In these few day's Varisa and Maria bonded quiet well and became friends. She had Agastya on her laps as he insisted on sitting with his bua.

Winning the toss GT chose to bat. The first wicket was down when Wriddhiman Saha got out in 5 runs on 11 balls and Wade came on his place. The next wicket was down in the 4th over as Wade got out by Avesh Khan. Hardik got out in 9th over. David miller also got out in 26 runs and the current score is 103-4. Shubman completed his half century showing a thumbs up towards me as I applauded cheerfully. GT set up a score of 145 to be chased by LSG.

After the break all of the GT players were on the ground taking spots for fielding, as Quinton and KL came to open for LSG. Their 1st wicket was down in the 3rd over. In the very next over i.e., the 4th over Kl got out. Wickets were falling one after the another, and the team got all out at 82. GT won by 62 runs, giving a crashing defeat to LSG.

Varisa's POV:

After the qualifiers match in Kolkata we are back in Ahmedabad for the finals as we qualified for the finals. I, Shahneel di and Nats bhabhi are on our way to the Narendra Modi stadium at Ahmedabad.

Within sometime we were in the stands and today I decided on wearing GT jersey with Shubman's name and jersey no. on it. I don't care if it causes rumors until Shubman doesn't have a problem with it, which I guess he doesn't.

RR won the toss and eventually chose to bat. The wickets fall down one by one. The team set a target of 131 runs in 20 overs.

After the break Shubman and Wriddhi sir came to open, but Wriddhi sir got out in the 2nd over. Wade who came after Wriddhi sir also got out making 8 runs in 10 balls. Harry bhai and Shubman had a great partnership of 63 runs but harry bhai too got out in 34 runs. 

David Miller came to bat scored 32 runs in 19 balls. Shubi finished the match hitting a six and we won the match by 7 wickets. Shahneel di, I and bhabhi shared a group hug, later descending to the ground for celebration. I congratulated Shubman side hugging him which I know might cause serious rumors, and as if I care.

We then went back to the hotel as we had a small celebration with cutting cake and a bit of dance before heading back to the room. The actual after party is on tomorrow evening. 

Varisa: congratulations mr. Gill!

Shubman: thank you mrs. Gill!

Varisa: mrs. nahi ms. Kohli shaadi k liye propose nhi kiya tumne mujhe abhi

Shubman: oh toh madam wants a proposal theek hai ji jaisa aap kaho!

Varisa: bol toh aise rahe ho jaise kahin bahar leja k propose karoge!

Shubman: tumhe shak hai mujhpe?

Varisa: maine aisa toh nhi bola!

Shubman: acha ji mujhe tang karne mein bada maza aa raha hai madam ko ruko abhi batata hun.

We were running in the whole room as Shubman was trying to get a hold on me, but me having Kohli genes I was able to escape. At last we both fell on the bed beside each other and he hovered over me pinning my hands above my head on the bed.

Varisa: Mr. Gill you need to take a shower, you stink!

Shubman: but I need my kiss

Varisa: take a shower first

Shubman: that means I'll get a kiss once I take shower

Varisa: chiii yaar Shubi nahao jaa k pehle

After that Shubi went to take a shower and I sat in front of the mirror wiping away my makeup and later changing into a comfy night wear co-ord.

Within 20 mins Shubman came out wrapping a towel around his waist, with water droplets dripping all over his toned chest and back. I was proudly gawking at my hot and handsome boyfriend.

Shubman: I know main hot hun but stop gawking at me meri girlfriend hai already

I decided to play along.

Varisa:  tumhari gf se zyada hot aur beautiful hoon, abhi bhi time hai chor do use.

Shubman: nhi nhi baba Hitler hai meri gf aur usse bhi bada Hitler uska bhai dono maar dalenge mujhe

I giggled a his comment and got of the bed hugging him, while he wrapped his arms around me engulfing my body in the warm hug.

Shubman's POV:

I'm on the bed scrolling through my phone as I'm ready for the party but my gf is still not. She is currently doing her hair and putting on the accessories as she is done with the dress nd makeup stuff and all. She's wearing an emerald green satin slip dress with a stiletto of same shade accessorizing with diamond earcuffs and diamond bracelet.

I'm wearing a white full sleeve polo shirt which my gf got me, pairing it up with a black formal pant. Accessorizing the look with a shoes from Nike and a watch from rolex with emerald green dial.

After Varisa was done with getting ready we came to di's room and we three came down to the venue selected for today's party.

Varisa's POV:

After coming to the venue we saw most of the players and their wives present. I and di went to Natasa bhabhi while Shubman went to Harry bhai who was holding Agastya in his arms.

Soon the vibe started building up as most of us were on the floor after taking shots of tequila and grooving on the Punjabi songs. The Dj then changed the track and set it to romantic one. My eyes slowly crept to Shubman who stood in front of me, as he pulled out his hand from the pocket asking for mine. I placed my hand in his as he slipped his arm on my waist pulling me closer, we moved our body in rhythm with our eyes still not leaving each other.

After 5 freaking hours the party came to an end as all of us headed back to our room after having dinner.

Author's POV:

Today all of the GT team and WAGs are returning to Mumbai, and currently they are in the flight that is about to land in half an hour.

The trio, Shahneel, Shubman and Varisa were sitting next to each other, that's when Shahneel broke the silence by announcing their parents arrival to Mumbai.

Shahneel: mumma papa kal Mumbai mein hain

Shubman: achi baat hai waise bhi bohot din ho gaye mumma papa se mile

The duo were talking when they noticed Varisa who seemed a bit tensed.

Shubman: baby what happened?

Shahneel: haan Ri kya hua u seem tensed

Varisa: di what if uncle aunty ko main pasand nhi aayi toh?

Shubman: why are you thinking negative?

Shahneel: haan aur mumma papa ko pata toh hai tum dono k bare mein

Varisa: di aapko kya lagta hai aunty mujhe reject toh nhi karengi na?

Shahneel: tujhe koi reject kar sakta hai kya?

Varisa: kya yaar aap toh mujhe chane k jhaad pe chadha rahe ho

Shubman: baby kuch nhi hoga! don't worry

Varisa: main bhai bhabhi se baat karti hun and then kal lunch ka plan karte hain! what say?

Shahneel: haan sahi hai

Shubman: mujhe puchna mat mujhe bas bata dena kab aana hai

Varisa: shaadi tumhe karni hai ya mujhe akele?

Shubman: shaadi toh karni hai

Within two hours they were outside the Kohli residence to drop Varisa home. After dropping the brother and sister duo headed to their apartment.

Varisa's POV:

Bhabhs opened the door as I pressed the bell. 

Anushka: arey Vari kaisa raha finals?

Varisa: bohot acha tha bhabhs and we won also 

Anushka: abhi se we and all haan! I see!

Varisa: kya bhabhs aap bhi btw  Shubman k mom dad Mumbai mein hain and we want ki aap aur bhai unse baat karo

Virat: yeh toh achi baat hai

Varisa: toh main Shubman ko bol dun kal Lunch ka?

Virat: haan bol de main Rohit aur Ritika ko bhi bol deta hun

Varisa: bhabhs main apne room mein ja rahi hun 

Anushka: haan rest kar tu

After coming in my room I went to the washroom and took a shower. Coming out of the washroom I sat in front of the mirror doing my skincare. I instantly dialed Shubman's no. and in no time he answered the call.

Shubman: yeah baby

Varisa: Shubman bhai and bhabhi want to invite all of you for lunch tomorrow

Shubman: we'll come tomorrow don't worry

Varisa: I just hope everything goes right.
