Varisa's POV:

I and Shahneel di were on our way to Brabourne stadium for the match against Punjab. we reached the stadium and in no time Nats bhabhi joined us in the suite. We already met the players before coming here, besides they need time to prepare themselves before facing the opponents.

GT won the toss and chose to bowl first. 

Soon the match started and in the very second over they managed to take a wicket. The next wicket was down in the 4th over and the current score was of 34 runs. GT kept taking wickets and Punjab was all out setting a score of 190 for GT to chase.

Shubman and Wade as always came to open with Wade on strike. He took a single passing the strike to Shubman. The very moment Shubman got the strike we were shown on the screen, highlighting my presence. The heck media wants to do, no privacy at all.

Our first wicket was down in the 3rd over with Wade who got out making 6 runs in 7 balls. Shubman and Sai were having a great partnership. In 2nd ball of the 7th over, Shubman hit the ball but fortunately his catch was dropped.

Shubman again made a half century and I could feel the joy and the proud feel creeping in me. He had a great score today of 53 in 29. Shubman was very close to his century with a score of 89 in 51. It indeed was an amazing score and we needed 57 runs in 33 balls now.

Sai eventually got out making 35 in 30 balls and Harry bhai came on strike. Harry bhai hit a six and his ball was caught but it slipped of the fielders hand. Pheww! That's a great relief.

We needed 32 more in 13 balls and Shubman was on strike. We three sat on the suite with our fingers crossed. Nervousness creeped in me and I could see Shubman who was all fine and not at all nervous. Well man is confident about himself which is a great thing.

Unfortunately Shubman got out in 96 and couldn't complete his century to which Harry bhai caressed his back mouthed him it's okay.

This surely affected him more I could see his head hung low. I picked up my phone and texted him a "played well champ!" text

It was cliffhanger situation with a score of 20 runs to be chased in 7 balls. Even Harry bhai got out at 27. Now the game got more intense with 17 runs in 4 balls.

AND WE WON THE MATCH! 

Tewatia hit two consecutive sixes, finishing the match.

After celebrating on the field and done with the formalities. The boys suggested an idea of going on dinner together. We came to one 8 commune as always, the safest place with no paps.

We had our dinner and went back to home.

The very next day i.e. today I have a flight for Nyc as I had to travel back due to some issue in the company and few photoshoots, interviews that were pending till date.

I was at the airport with Shahneel di and Shubman who came to see off. 

Shubman: When are you coming back?

Varisa: 20th I guess!

Shahneel: Have a great flight Ri!

Varisa: Thank you Sha!

Shahneel: I'll leave you both love birds in privacy now!

Shahneel di then walked to starbucks. Shubman hugged me tightly in his embrace. I felt the luckiest to be held tightly in his warm and secure embrace.

Shubman: Travel safely, don't over work yourself and don't skip meals!

Varisa: Ohk sir I will!

Shubman: good! Now go it's already time for your flight!

Varisa: Bye love!

Shubman: Bye baby!

He pecked on my forehead before I left for the checking.

NYC has always been a dream and special for me but this time I wanted to stay. I had someone for whom I would settle down in India.It's not like earlier I didn't wanted to stay, I did but at the same time a little part of me wanted to go to NYC. I'm going to NYC but my mind, my heart everything is in India. Well I guess I found my home already.

They say home is where the heart is!

The flight was about to land and I guess Noah would have came by now. For your info, I informed him about my arrival and he said he would be picking me up from the airport.

The nose wheel of the aircrafts coming in contact with the soil of NYC indicating the arrival. Within 10 minutes I was at the baggage reclaim area waiting for the baggage I carried all the way from India.

After collecting my stuffs, I was finally out of the airport feeling the gush of fresh oxygenated air all over my body. I saw Noah, who stood at a distance from me, while I was covered with paps. No matter if its India or US u gotta deal with paps everywhere.

In no time, the airport security got me out of the crowd carefully. 

Noah: Why u gotta be so famous man? Don't you feel Irritated.

Varisa: Well being rich famous and well known was a dream to me so why would I hate this? It's just when they hinder my privacy is what I hate.

Noah: Well I never got you earlier and neither will get now! Anyways let's grab a coffee!

Varisa: Ohhh that would be a great help Noah! I already feel the jet lag badly!

In a few minutes we stood outside starbucks. We ordered our coffee and sat on one of the tables. 

Noah: well well! I saw your post on the personal account with that Shub guy! Are you really dating him?

Varisa: well yeah I do! We are in a relationship for 2 months now!

Noah: Oh great! I'm happy for you!

Varisa: But you don't seem like! Are you hiding something from me?

Noah: It's just that Jake has always liked you and he was about to even propose you on the convocation day but couldn't!

Varisa: Damn it! Why I never knew about this! Was I the girl he always kept talking bout?

Noah: Yeah it has always been you and the day he saw those posts and the articles about your dating rumors he's behaving different he's not the jake we knew!

Varisa: Let's go for a day out tomorrow!

Noah: Varisa you need to solve this!

Varisa: That's what I'm telling you let's go for a day out!
