"Paul, wait up!!"

The crisp, white snow was falling steadily as the two figures were walking through the cold. One was a male trainer with purple hair and the other was a female coordinator with midnight blue tresses. The male was efficiently ignoring the female, but he wouldn't be able to continue it for long. 

The frozen trees swayed from the bitter cold wind as both climbed the icy Tengan Mountains. Snow swept across their path and made refuge in their hair as the girl called his name once again before tripping. "Pa—uwah!" 

Paul gave the girl, Dawn, a curious look. "How could anyone fall in snow?"  He thought to himself. Oh right, Dawn was such a klutz, so the possibilities were high. "You're such a moron," He muttered before walking back towards the struggling girl. He offered her his hand and when she didn't take it, he said, "Well, what are you waiting for? Do you want my help or not?" Ignorance was well laced with his voice. 

Dawn gave him a bright smile before taking his hand, but when she was up, she didn't let go (much to Paul's annoyance). Unfortunately, the amount of snow falling doubled, and became a blizzard. The blizzard forced two to take shelter inside a nearby cave. 

"It's cold," Dawn mumbled taking a seat in front of the fire Paul's Chimchar had made. Paul responded by giving her a look that said "No, really?" The young man got up and walked to the cave's entrance, staring out into the cold snow. "Paul, you're going to freeze," Dawn warned from her place before getting up to join him. 

"You are the one who's going to freeze," Paul replied before forcing her back to the fire. "Your hands are already freezing,". Sitting down, Paul pulled the freezing coordinator on to his lap to keep her warm. When they both realized what he had done, their cheeks turned crimson as they turned away from each other, their hearts pounding rapidly. 

After that fiasco, the two decided to stay away from each other as much as possible in that tiny cave. Unfortunately, Dawn just kept getting colder and colder, and was soon forced to sit next to Paul in hopes of finding warmth. 

Of course that didn't turn out well. A few harsh words later, Dawn found herself snuggled into Paul, his arms wrapped around her in order to keep her warm. Burying her head into the boy's chest, she found herself nodding off, but not before she sleepily planted a kiss on his unaware lips. 

"Thank you, Paul," She said falling asleep in his arms. He planted a kiss on her forehead. 

"You're welcome, Dawn."
