It was ironic really, how fate had hated him and yet it did the one thing that made him happiest. No, it hadn't always been that way. When they had first met, let's just say, they hated each others guts. It pretty much got worse when they started arguing for the first time.

The truth was, he had first thought of her as a loud, bratty klutz while she thought of him as a hard-headed, arrogant jerk. And fate did not really help much when it paired the two up against many odds. Truth be told, they were ready to rip each other's guys out. That was how bad it was between them— in the beginning anyway.

As they got more and more used to each other, let's just say their relationship was out of the gutter. Oh, fate still played many tricks on them, getting them wound up in many odd and uncomfortable situations (like that one time they were stuck in a cave together). 
As they spent even more time together, their feelings for each other grew. They say, after all, opposites attract, and how right that saying was. They were total opposites. He was the sun, and she the moon.

She was kind, gentle, and caring. While he was rough and harsh. He wanted to be a Pokémon trainer, and she a Pokémon coordinator. How opposite could you get with that? It was weird how fate always put two people together that were each other's polar opposite.

He seriously thought fate was demented, twisted, brilliant, and genius actually. But, fate was fate and knew it best. He could help but think back to all those times fate had put them together...
