Avni is waiting for him in their room in his palace. She was walking to and fro and was looking at all the decorations made.

"I am nervous!" She took a deep breath and rubbed her palm together and kept it on her cheeks.

"How should I address him?" she was still walking looking at the door each passing moment.

It's been a hour since she is waiting for him but he never came. She was resting on the bed and just slept without her knowing.

....

In the morning, Avni woke up with a sore neck.

"Ahh!...It's paining !" She hissed in pain and slowly got up and sat on the bed.

She looked at the other side and found him nowhere.

"Did he come last night ?. Did he saw me sleeping ? Shit!" She muttered under her breath and suddenly heard the sound of the door and looked at the direction.

Avni stood up from the bed seeing him and looked at him.

"I ...I am sorry ... Yesterday I was so tired I just slept..." She told him while he gave her no reaction making her confused.

He just went near the closet and tried to pick his things.

"What's with this environment?...Is he mad at me ?" She was wondering while he cleared his throat.

"I am not interested in you ...nor in this wedding " he told her while Avni blinked her eyes trying to register his words.

"Then why did you marry ?" She asked while he turned to look at her. He chuckled at her naiveness.

"As if you don't know ?" He asked her.

"No! I don't know " she told him honestly.

He put his things on the bed and walked near her. Avni started to take her step backward until she hit the wall. He came dangerously close to her.

"Because we are the match made in heaven. My father found a perfect match for me ..." He told her indirectly making her even more confused. He moved away from her and about to leave but stopped when she spoke again

"Wh...what do you mean by that ?" She asked him while he got annoyed.

"I don't have any superpowers just like you...So they made us get married!...Perfect match ...Two losers...You get it now ?" He slightly raised his voice after getting annoyed with her question.

"Superpower isn't everything!..." She told him after getting pissed off by him.

"But to others, it is !" He spat back.

"I don't care !..." She yelled back at this point while Neil just looked at her and left without saying anything.

"How can he call me a loser ?. He is the loser" she murmured cutely and sighed.

.....

"Is superpower everything?...I am happy without having one...He is same like my mother and father...nothing is different about him...he is same like everyone.." avni started walking to and fro while Sunheri was confused of why she is acting this way.

"My lady, can you please just sit for a moment?" She asked while Avni ignored her.

"What happened, my lady ?" She asked her again.

"He called me a loser !!" She told her while Sunheri remained silent.

"Loser ?...Me ?...Huh?!" She flipped her hair back.

They were called for breakfast. Avneil were living alone away from Neil's family. Everything is taken cared by the handmaiden here. Sunheri is there to only take care of Avni.

Avni entered and saw him already eating. She just sat and glared at him while he ignored her completely. She started eating and they acted like they don't know each other.

.....

"Master, You shouldn't be out here ...You have to be with Lady Avni !"  DD told him while he ignored him.

"Atleast try to know her na?" He insisted again.

"Will you shut up ?. And stop giving me orders !" He told him while he remained silent.

"I am not interested in knowing anyone !..." He told him.

"Is it because..." Before DD could say he interrupted.

"Don't you dare to talk about that thing !" He told while he zipped his mouth and just continued to give him company.

The whole day Avni was with Sunheri and Neil was nowhere to be seen. He didn't reach his palace night as well. And as usual Avni had to sleep alone.

.....

In the morning,

Neil came home and went to his room and saw her waiting for him.

"What are you doing here ?" He asked her with a cold expression.

"I was waiting for you..." She ran to him smiling.

"I forgot to give you something.." she told and showed him something.

"King Veldreith gave it to me!. We should have one for each other it seems...He told me to pass it on to you as you were not there that time" She showed him happily while Neil looked at her.

It's a Veldreith legacy blade that he had seen his mother and father carrying with each other.

"It looks so fancy...Can I also have one Mother ?" Neil who was 3 year old asked his mother.

"Ofcourse why not?!...If you grow up and find yourself a beautiful wife, I'll make a new one for you..." She replied smiling and caressed his hair.

"I want black color not the blue color which you are having..."he told while she nodded smiling at him.

He looked away and turned and was about to go but stopped when she hold him by the corner of his hand sleeve while he turned towards her again.

"I think you didn't get me straight!...If you are trying to act like my wife !. Then don't !... Atleast not infront of me.." he told her and just left making her sad.

He stood on the hallway and sighed. He caressed his hair and got carried away by his thoughts.

"I forgot to take my sword " he thought and went back to his room.

He saw the black blade which she left on the table. He took it on his hand and saw his name carved on it. He just threw that in the drawer and left taking his sword.
