At the club, last night

Avni tried not to feel distracted by neil's presence at the club, she tried to focus only on her friends, but her heart kept diverting her to neil.

She secretly glaces at him, every couple of minute. And whenever she looks at him, all those visuals from the past night, start flashing in her mind.

She felt irritated with her mind thoughts, and looked in another direction.

But after few minustes she saw at him again, and this time he was not alone.

He was standing with a girl, and narrowed her eyes at this, suddenly feeling curious to know who she is and what is happening there exactly.

And this was the time when Neil also notices avni, his gaze falls on her finally.

He catches her starring at him, which brought an instant smile on his face.

Avni realized he just saw her, and she immediately shrugged her eyes off him. She feared why he saw her.

But something interesting was running in neil's mind. Knowing how curiously she was starring at him, he decided to tease her a little, just to know her true feelings for him.

He held the girl closer and began dancing with her intimately.

Avni again looked at him and found him dancing closely with that girl. Avni felt slightly jealous at that sight.

She dont know where it was coming from, but she was actually feeling jelaous.

She kept looking at them, when neil suddenly turned his back to her and hide the girl in his chest.

Avni eyes widened more at this, as he just made it look like he is kissing that girl.

Avni turned her face back to her friends, and she squeezed her eyes to not think of him anymore. She dont know what is happening with her.

On one side her mind kept irritating her with 'His' thoughts, and on the other side - his closeness with some other girl was affecting her alot.

She felt irritated and dont know what to do......she looked around and just took the glass kept at the bar table, and drank it without knowimg what it was.

After which she didn't stopped and start drinking one after another. Thinking this will help her overcome his obsession.

Saisha and karan just kept looking at her, with their mouths wide open at her drinking speed. She looked unstoppable.

Before they could even stop her, she was completely out of control and was fully drunk.

Avni stood up from there and left without saying anything. Her walk looks improper and disbalanced, showing how drunk she was.

After a couple of minutes, she went to use the ladies room.

But when she was just a step away from the washroom door, a hand catched her from waiste, turns her around and came face to face with her.

He looked deep in her eyes, while she was having a tough time controlling her increased heartbeat.

Their faces were so close that she can feel alcohol in his breathe.

Avni : N.. neil....

before she can say something, his lips crashed on hers, taking her into a deep and passionate kiss.

She can't help but close her eyes at his sudden move.

All the other thoughts left her mind, and now all she feel is - his warm lips against hers, his arms perfectly wrapped around her waiste, and his body pressed against hers.

Neil can't get enough of her and she also start responding with equal passion.

When neil pulls away to take a breathe, is when avni's mind cleared and she realised what is happening.

Avni : Y...you are drunk...

Neil : So are you....

Avni : This...this is wrong...

Neil : Really ? Does is feel wrong ?

he said huskily, after which he gave another peck on her lips, sucking on her lower lip seductively.

Avni disbalanced herself due to alcohal affect, but neil held her up close, not letting her fall.

Avni looked in his eyes after he broke the kiss...

Avni : th...things are not same now....

Neil : But our feelings are still same, exactly what we felt last time...

Avni looked at him and she felt at loss of words. She cant deny to what he said.

She too feels the same way what he is feeling for her right now. She too feels the urge to have him right now, but she just dont want to admit that.

Avni : B...but now i know who you are...

Neil : And does it make any difference to you....?

Huh....tell me, just because i turned out to be your boss, it changes your feeling for me....?

Avni : N..No....i...i mean yes,
No, i...i mean, not...not like that..... she stammered alot, unable to complete her sentences.

she looked completely confused and didn't know how to react to this situation.

Neil chuckled at her, as she is soo drunk that she dont even know what she is saying.

Neil : Avni you know what....you are very high right now,
Drinks handle nhi hoti to peeti kyu ho......he said as she was constantly disbalancing herself in neil's arms, and he had tough time holding her in place.

Avni : Oh really....lekin isme bhi tum...tumhari galti hai....she said pocking a finger on his chest.

Neil didnt understand what she said...he just found her extremely cute.

He smiled. After which he left her waiste and held her one hand ...

Neil : Come with me....

Neil start dragging her out, and she followed him in silence

After a few steps she suddenly stopped

Avni : Wait, my friends must be waiting...

Neil : Text them that you are not feeling well, and you left.

Avni just looked in his eyes and went completely lost. She did'nt heard what he said.

Neil left a sigh.

Considering her condition, He himself took her phone and messaged her friend that she is leaving.

After which he dragged her out of the club and reaching to the parking lot, he sat her inside the car and left from there, driving the car in full speed.

Avni woke up next day, just to find herself naked, in neil's bed.

She don't remember anything from the last night.

In the meanwhile neil entered the room, wearing only a trouser, while keeping his upper body on a full display.

Avni looked at him and start feeling nervous. She pulled the duvet more over her, as neil entered and sat next to her, passing a glass of lemonade to her.

Neil : Have it, tumhara hangover utar jayega.

Avni held the glass and start drinking. while she looked at him and tries to remember what happened last night.

Avni : Kya kal..kal raat ko bhi.....

Neil : kal raat ko bhi....aage....?
he whispered giving a teasing smile.

Avni : Neil please, stop teasing me now...i..i don't remember anything...

Neil : Kal raat ko... i brought you home in a drunk state ...and then......

he began telling her what happened last night, after he brought her home.

Flashback begins

As soon as they entered the apartment, neil began kissing her intimately, as he was also drunk and could not resist her anymore.

Avni also responded with equal greedyness. She even slipped her hand inside his shirt and began tracing his abs with her fingers.

This turns him on and he immediately pulled her up, wrapping her legs around his waiste, not breaking their kiss.

After that he brought her in the bedroom. Putting her down on the bed, he bends with her in his arms.

Neil : I love seeing you on my bed...he said seductively, while lying her completely on bed.

Avni : And i love when you makes me feel so special....she said in her low voice, while she looks in his eyes with so much love.

Neil chuckles and plants a kiss on her lips. Avni's heartbeat started racing fast.

He got busy in kissing her, and suddenly she pulls his shirt up and soon he was lying half naked in front of her.

Neil : You really have some problem with my shirt...don't you... he gave a devilish smile, considering how she always gets him off his shirt, he really enjoys this side of her.

And withing next blink of seconds, she was also out of her clothes and they both are now naked in front of each other.

They both looks deeply into each others eyes. And this time there was much more than lust, seen in their eyes.

There was something else which they were unable to understand.

They just kept adoring each other and got lost in each others eyes.

Neil kept admiring her, and the way she makes him feel was beyond words for him to express.

He then slowly came closer, she can feel the warmness of his breathe on her face. She closed her eyes, but.....

Suddenly she realised that they are doing the wrong thing all again.

Avni : Neil......stop.....

neil pulls away and stares at her confusingly.

Avni : We....we are drunk...

Neil : Last time also we were drunk...

Avni : Last time i didnt know you were my boss...

Neil sighs

Neil : So you came with me, just to tell me that we cant...

Avni : I...i came because i felt like that before....

Neil : then what happened now....?

Avni took a few minutes pause and stares at him before she say....

Avni : I am sorry , but i...i can't do it today.... she said keeping her hand on his chest, pushing him slightly off her.

Neil stares at her for a couple of minutes. He takes a deep breathe and then exhales slowly trying to calm himself down.

Neil : Goodnight avni...

he got up and left to the room next, without glancing back at her.

Avni knew she disappointed him.

She felt like she should go home now....But it was very late, and she was not in a condition to move, so decided to stay till morning. Withing next seconds she just crashed down and dozed off into deep slumber.

Avni took a breathe of relief, when neil told her nothing happened.

Avni : THANK GOD...but why don't i remember anything....?

Neil : No surprise, you were highly drunk...

Avni : Hmm...thats why i dont drink generally...

Neil : Really, then what happened yesterday....?

He lookes at her and she also stares at him in silence.

Avni : Pta nhi....i..i think i should leave now.

After getting dressed and gathering her things, she left. Neil insisted to drop her home but she told she will manages and neil agreed without arguing further.

The whole sunday went in silence for both of them. While each other's thoughts still kept irritating them.

The next day

Monday morning at office.

As avni entered inside, karan approached her

Karan : Are you feeling alright now ?

Avni looked clueless.

Karan : You left on saturday night, messaging that you are feeling sick. Did you get proper rest ?

Avni look thoughtless as she didn't remember when she messaged them, (because it was neil who did on her place).

Avni : I felt fine on sunday, thanks....she passed a smile to him.

Saisha joined them and she says...

Saisha : So you left with him again...?

Avni skipped a beat (Did she saw me again...? ) she though to herself in panick.

Saisha : Just kidding, by the way, Are you feeling better now ?

Avni nodded, and after few more chats, they got busy in their work.

Next few days passed by normally. Neil is strictly professional in office so it was easy for avni to face him.

They somehow turned into good friends in few days. That awkwardness between them, vanished gradually.

One day,

Avni was at her home when she received a message from her landlord.

"Sorry avni, you have to vacate the place in two days, as i need it for some urgent work.
I am extremely sorry as i cant give you another place also.
Please manage for a few months. "

Avni cant believe this just happened. Now she is homeless.

She got ready and went to office and talk to her friends about this new problem.

Saisha : Sorry avni, i could have helped but i already live with my roommate.

Avni : Its okay, i know.

Karan : Umm....if you don't mind i have a spare room in my apartment, you can shift in until you dont find yourself another apartment.

Avni thought alot. But knowing he has a soft corner for her, she dont want to complicate things further.

Avni : Thanks for the help karan, but i will manage.
I will find some place, dont worry. she said and passed a smile

After sometimes, as she was asking other interns too, samaria heard and came to know about that she is looking for an apartment on rent.
She approached to her and says...

Samaria : Avni...if you need any help, i can help.

Avni looked at her and didn't felt like taking any help from her. She can trust anyone except her.

Avni : No, thanks.

Samaira : I know we are not in good terms, but i can understand your problem. Anyway this is the address, just in case you change your mind.

She handed her a chit and left from there.

Avni thought a lot about this. And after she didnt find any other solution, she decided to try the place samaira offered. As she thinks there is no harm in trying atleast.

After the office, she reached to see the place as per the address given by samaira.

She knocked the door. While she looked around and the place didnt looked nice. There were cigaratte butts next to the doors, and avni felt not at ease.

( Am i at some wrong place ? she start thinking.....? )

In the meanwhile the door opened and a tall muscular man appears....

Man : Yes... ?

Avni : I..i am actually looking for an apartment on rent.

The man eyes at her from up to down. Avni start feeling uneasy.

Man : Boys will love you....he passed a comment, while checking her out in a filthy manner.

Avni took a deep breathe.
She immediately understood hat she is at the wrong place. She decides to just ran away, before anything bad happens.

But before she could escape, she bumped into another huge and bulky man. Who stares at her from top to toe.

She panicked instantly and started breathing heavily.

Man : I want you...

Her heart skipped a beat at how menacing those words sound.

Avni : I....i am not what you are thinking, I..i came here by mistake.

the sweatbeads started forming on her forehead...and her heart started beating fast.

Man : I dont care, but i want you right now....

Panicking, avni just began to run away from that place, in her full speed.
But that man just got angry and started following her.

Avni was having all the bad thoughts running in her mind, while her skin started getting sweaty.

He was still following her in speed

Avni realized that she can't run away from him, as he is big and will catch her soon.

She decides to hide somewhere. She looked around and saw a huge truck parked near the road, and hide herself behind that, just to buy herself some time.

Shivers ran down her body and she felt extremely scared.

What...what should i do..? Should i call someone ? Should i text....

she kept thinking what to do and what not to......and the only person came in her mind right now was...Neil.

She panickly searched for his number, and typed him a message...

Can you pick me up ? I am in huge trouble......her hands were shivering while typing.

Luckily, He reads the message on time and his reply came instantly

Where are you...?

She managed to send him her gps location, after which neil replied...

Neil : Hang in there, i will coming right now...!

She panickly waits for him, while cautiously keeping an eye on her chaser. As he was still out there, looking for her everywhere.

A few minutes later, she heard the sounds of a car, and her phone rings.

Seeing down at her phone, and looking at neil's name flashing on it,  her heart flips happily. She understood he is here.

But as she raises her eyes up, she found that huge and bulky man, standing right in front of her eyes. Her heart skipped a beat and she got freezed on the spot.

She didn't know how to make her way to neil's car now. But suddenly that man was replaced by neil. She saw neil standing in front of her.

As soon as she saw him, she fly right into his arms. She clutched her arms tightly around his waiste, hiding her face into his chest.

She can't help but sob a little, as tears found there ways out her eyes.

Avni : Thank god you made in time. I thought he will.....he will....
i....i got scared....

Neil senses the seriousness of that situation. His blood boiled imagining what could have happened. He embraces her in his protective arms.

Neil : Its okay, i am here now. No one can harm you.

Avni broke the hug, when she found that man lying down on the floor.

Avni : You knocked him down....?

Neil : What else you expect....

he said and she stares at him for a couple of minutes.

Neil held her hand and took her to his car. She sat inside, and in no time neil starts the engine and start driving.

Avni was still trying to overcome from that incident, it was horrifying her from inside.

Neil looks at her, and found her still scared. He kept his one hand on hers and said...

Neil : Its okay avni, everything is fine now.

Avni looked down, and wiped a few tears near her eyes. Trying to compose herself.

Neil : But how did you landed up here...? You know na its a brothel..?

Avni : I...i didnt know it before.
Samaira, she...she gave me this address. Telling someone is renting an apartment here...

Neil's eyes turned dark hearing that. Anger filled in his eyes.

Neil : That bitch. I can't believe she stooped so low in order to harm you. I will not going to leave her now.

Avni glances at him as she never saw him this angry.

Avni : I thought she is trying to help me. But i didnt knew she hates me this much. (she felt bad and a tear left her eyes)

That.... that man....he...he was after me, and the...the way he was looking at me, it..it felt horrible.....
i....i got so scared.....

Neil : Shhhh....its over now..

He picked up her hand and entwingled his fingers with hers. He gave kiss on the back of her hand in order to comfart her.

Neil : Its over avni. You are with me now. Dont stress over it too much,okay.

His voice was soothing and actually does wonders to calm her down. His presence makes her feel safe and secure.

After reaching avni's apartment. Neil entered inside along with her. He was not ready to leave her alone in that condition. Avni also felt warm and secure by his presence.

Neil suddenly notices some cuts on her hands.

Neil : You are wounded avni...he said and he picked her hand to check on her wounds. Care sparled in his eyes.

Avni can't help but admire his protectiveness towards her. She has never seen this side of him. She can't imagine that a strong and solid CEO can also be so caring.

After bandaging her wound himself, neil sat next to her. Avni looks smilingly at him. And soon she forgot everything. Neil's presence was enough for her to overcome that incident.

After sometimes, avni realised that its dinner time. He must be hungry too.

Avni : You must be hungry neil, should i get something for you ?

Neil : No, its fine. I am just leaving.

Avni : I insist, please have dinner.
I owe you this much atleast after your help.

Neil : You owe me nothing for that okay, you understand....he said in a stern tone, staring at her.

Avni stares at him in silence.

Neil  : But, dinner with you sounds good. he chuckled and smiled, bringing a smile on avni's face

Avni : Great.

And they both now head to the kitchen.

Neil : So what are you offering me then....? he said while settling on the dinner table next to the kitchen.

Avni : I can bake you some pizza...and that too very quickly.

Neil nodded with a happy smile. She starts cooking, while they keep up with the casual conversation.

........

After an hour.

Their pizza was ready, avni serves it into two plates. She looks very excited.

Taking the seat next to him, she put the plates down. One in front of him and other beneath her arms.

But as she puts her plate down, her arm hit her plate and the pizza slices flew in the air just to land on the floor.

Neil was about to have his bite, when he saw this weird incident happen, raising his brows in disbelief.

Avni : Shit....I...i am sorry, i know i am bit clumsy.

Neil sighs

Neil : No surprise...he whispered in a low voice, letting out a small laugh.

Avni : Huh...kuch kaha tumhe...?

Neil : No...nothing. Its fine, I....I totally get it.

Avni : But I ruined my dinner, what will i have now.

Avni looked worried, while some naughty ideas runs in neil's mind.
He let out a smirky smile.

Neil : Dont worry avni....i can share mine with you..... he said and slowly leaned towards her.

Avni stares at him. Neil passed a naughty smile while leaning more closer towards her....

He seductively grabs a slice from his plate (without losing the stare) and slowly stretches his hand to her...

Avni kept starring at him with a slight smile. She gets close to him to take the bite from his hands, when suddenly he pulls his hand away....

Avni narrowed her eyes at him, while his eyes glint deviously.

Neil : There is no free meal in this world avni..

avni have him a look...

Avni : Technically its you having a
free meal right now mr khanna.....

Neil : But you said you owe me this.
he chuckled

Avni looked at him with a smile. She never felt so relaxed with neil. And now seeing him in a playful mood for the first time, all her tension seems to vanish.

Avni : Tell me then, what should i do to earn my meal....?

Neil passed a devilish smile before he say....

Neil : Nothing much, for now Just a Kiss would do.....he winked at her.

Avni started blushing heavily.

Avni : No thanks, i can have some snacks later. You enjoy your dinner.

She denies his offer, while she started blushing and steals eyes from him.

Neil smiled and laughed it out.

Neil : Acha fine have it.....

he again stretched his hands for her to have a bite.

Avni : No..its...its fine neil.

Neil : Oh come on, have it now.
Vese bhi I can't let you starve.

he said showing his care and concern.
Avni cant help but adore his words.

She then slowly bent closer and had a bite from his hands, and neil smiled.

After that, They both shared the food from one plate and felt so much warmth and homely.

After the dinner, neil stares at her deeply for a couple of minutes. Slowly his face nears her and she holds her breathe.

Is he going to kiss me ? her breathing becomes shallow, and her heart speeds up.

One more inch and his lips will connect hers.

But neil takes a deep breathe and he pulls away.

Avni looked him in disbelief.

His eyes are not meeting her now, and she realizes something is bothering him.

Avni : What happened ?

Neil looks at her

Neil : Avni, i want to talk to you about something....but i don't know where to start from.

Avni lookes in his eyes, and there was so much honesty and a different kind of spark shining in his eyes.

She didn't understand what it was but wants him to continue...

Avni : Say it neil...she said placing her hand on his.

Neil takes a deep breathe. He held her hands in his, stares in her eyes, and says....

Neil : Avni, i never used to believe in love before. I never believed that i can ever fall in love with someone.

That one night stand with you, i thought that would be just another fling for me. BUT.....

But after that night, i can't stop myself from thinking about you.....

Every minute, every second, it was you....it was JUST YOU, roaming around my mind all the time.

Mere saath aisa pehle kabhi nahi hua...and i was unable to understand that strange feelings which i felt for the first time.

And then, the day i saw you in office, is when i started realizing my feelings for you. Day by day that feeling started getting stronger and stronger.

And today, when i saw you scared, in the middle of that incident....My heart ached, and my blood boiled.

I don't know what i could have done to him, if he would have touched you.

And now i know one thing for sure... that I don't want to live even a single day without you.

I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU AVNI. I CAN'T...!

.....as he said that,butterflies flickers in avni's stomach. Her heart started beating fast, and she can't understand how to react.

The fact that she feels the same for him, is making her breathe sink and she can't handle her emotions right now.

Neil saw her eyes blushing. She slowly looked down and neil smiled seeing her like that.

Neil : I don't even need your answer avni, because your eyes says everything.....

And besides, I know How you feel jealous seeing me around other girls, it clearly indicate....THAT YOU DONT LIKE SHARING ME....RIGHT ?

he says smirkingly, and when avni raised her eyes to look at him, he winked with smile.

AND THAT'S HOW.....A ONE NIGHT STAND, turned into A HAPPILY EVER AFTER !
