Avni just pinched herself, hoping it all to be just a dream. But the reality was standing right in front of her.

The hot guy from the club was none other than but NEIL KHANNA , the CEO of Richmond.

She was trying to process all these when saisha leaned and whispered to her...

Saisha - I thought CEO to be some oldie, but he is too good to be true. I am sure you had a great time with him.

Avni - Will you please stop teasing me now, its not funny at all. My dream job is almost at risk.

Saisha : Relax, just take it easy. Maybe he never notices you.

Avni : I wish he never...

Taking a deep breathe, avni tried to notice on what he is saying. She took a few steps backwards and hide herself behind a few interns. She surely dont want him to notice her.

Neil continued.....

Neil : As you all know, its a two week internship... and after that, i will be announcing the Top 5 who will be the permanant employees of Richmond.

Avni was trying hard to focus on his words, but all what was running in her mind were the visuals from the past night. She can't concentrate on anything else, when he is standing in front.

Neil : I would like to work with each one of you personally, to see how valuable you are for the firm.

Avni widened her eyes at this...

Each one of us....? That means getting unnoticed, is next to impossible......avni thought to herself , and nervousness grown inside her.

Neil finished, he announced the names of first two intern he will work with today and left to his cabin.

Avni took a breathe of relief that she don't have to face him today.

At the cafetaria

Avni was sitting at a table, sipping her coffee in peace, when saisha joined her by saying...

Saisha : Everyone is jealous of you in the office....

Avni chocked her coffee hearing that, she widened her eyes at her.....when she laughed a bit and cleared her doubts.

Saisha : Chill, its not about Mr khanna. Dont worry, I will not tell anyone.

Avni : Then...?

Saisha : Its about karan. He seems interested in you, and girls are getting jealous of that.

Avni sighed. She can't imagine if everyone gets to know about her secret.

Avni : Please yaar...i am already all messed up. Ab ek or problem handle nhi kar sakti.

Saisha : I think you are just overthinking. Just do your work and forget about everything else.

Avni : I think you are right, i should just focus on my work. That's more important to me.

Avni completed her work in peace and left to her home. She lyed on her bed after having a hectic day at work.

At night

Neil's hands covers her waiste. She looked deep in his dark brown eyes. He came closer and closer, and start nuzzling in her neck giving her all the shivers ran down her body.

Her eyes gets closed, feeling him so close. she didn't want anything but his touch.

Neil : You drive me crazy avni...

Avni : You makes me feel different, i don't feel myself anymore.

Neil : How do you feel then....he whispered in her ear,biting her earlobe.

Avni's heart raced fast, her breathe got uneven.

Avni : Its all you....over me...she whispered seductively, feeling his warm breathe over her neck.

He suddenly threw her on bed and hovered over her.....

......and avni woke up.

Its 3 a.m. at night. Her hear is beating loudly. Sweat covers her skin, as she never had such dreams before.

She can't believe she is having such kind of dreams. Things she just want to forget, is not leaving her dreams either.

She closed her eyes and lyed back to go to sleep. But her mind is only fixed at Neil. He has occupied her mind way too much.

Next day at work.

What if today is the day ? What if he choses me today ?.......all these thoughts increases her nervousness at work.

She can't focus on work, thinking what will happen once they come face to face.

Will it be the last day of my work ?

What if he gets angry....and what if he fires me....?  I will lose my dream job.

Saisha : Avni....avni.....

Avni snapped out of her thoughts and just noticed that saisha is standing in front of her.

Saisha : Where are you lost ?

Avni : N...nothing....

Saisha : Did you heard, we have a new intern joined us today. She is Samaira. And she is going to be a trouble, as.....

Before she could complete, a very hot and sexy girl walk by them and greeted them.

Samaira : Hi girls, I am samaira.

Saisha looked at avni, and then they both looked at her.

Samaira : I am new here, will you help me guide to the CEO's cabin ?

She said seductively, her intensions were clearly visible on her face.

Avni snapped at saisha, and understood what she was referring at.

Samaira : Anyways, i will find it myself. And i heard he will choose 5 interns at the end. Is it true ?
Huh, count me in girls. Now there are only 4 places for you all to work for. See you later....she said and left in full attitude and style.

Avni : She is such a.....

Saisha : I know....

In the evening

Avni left to get herself some coffee. She was passing by, when she saw Mr. Khanna standing there.

She freezed on the spot. She gulped down  the saliva, and start taking steps backward.

She nervously turned around to leave.....when she realize he was not alone.

She turned back again and gaze at them. It was Samaira clinging into him.

Avni' eyes widened in shock.

Neil's face was not visible, he was facing his back towards avni.

Avni : What the hell is she doing with him ? And is he also....?

There were sparks of jealousy seen in her eyes. She was eavesdropping at them from a distant.

Saisha : Ahhaan... keeping an eye on your man......saisha just came and teasing her...

Avni : That bitch samaira....

she said burning in jealousy, starring at them, without realising that saisha is present here.

Saisha (shockingly) : Wait a minute....Are....are you seriously getting jealous ?

and thats when avni realised what she was doing. She immediately turned to her and tried acting normal.

Avni :Wh..what...n..n..n..no...
Wh....why would i be....she steal eyes from her and immediately left the place feeling awkward.

Saisha stood there smiling at her..

This is definately more than just a one night stand....she thought to herself, seeing the weird behavioural changes in avni.

The days passed by and avni managed to escape his eyes everytime. But this was the last day of the week, and only two interns were left to work with CEO.

Avni reaches office, fidgeting with her fingers, as she can't keep calm now. She has to face him today, and there is no escaping today.

Neil entered the hall to announce the names. He was looking in his files when he announced,

Neil -  The next two interns to work with me are.....SAMAIRA and......(he took a little pause before he say )....and AVNI.

Samaira stepped forward happily.

Shakingky and nervously, avni also took few steps forward. And neil's eyes fell on her finally.

Their gazes meet, and avni freezes on her spot again. She looked in his eyes finally. She looked nervous.

She can see the spark of recognition in his eyes, as he looked at her with a smile.

Avni and neil hold each other's gaze for a couple of minutes before he shakes it off, and looked at samaira...

Neil : Girls....folllow me to my cabin..

he said and left to his cabin, followed by samaira and avni.

When she was close to samaira, she whispered in her ear.

Samaira : He will definitely choose me, over you.

she passed a cunning smile, but avni just ignored her away.

They enters his lavish cabin, found him already sitted at his chair, and he directs them to have their seats.

Neil : Have you heard of Nike brand...

Samaira : Yes..ofcourse..

Neil looked at her and noticed her quite over excited. Then he shifted his gaze to avni, and found her little nervous and silent.

Neil : We are working for them. Your task for today is, to make a fresh advertisement for them. You will have all the information, and i need it by today evening itself.

Do you guys want to work together or separately ? he asked looking at both

Avni : Together...

Samaira : I prefer separately...i don't want to work with her.

Avni looked at her, and again ignored her, rolling her eyes at her.

Neil : Let me decide then. Okay fine work seperately for now.

But let me tell you samaira, you have already put yourself down.
As i don't prefer those employees who can't work in teams. So just see yourself, before you speak anything in front of me.....he fired at her in a strict bossy tone.

A slight smile came on avni's face hearing that. This cleared all her doubts she had about him.

He doesn't look interested in her, which cleared the doubt that he is not that type of man she thought of him. She felt relieved.

However Samaira felt offended. She gave a cunning look to avni.

Neil : Get back to work girls. You have less time.

They both sat in a corner having their laptops in their hands. Neil gets busy in his own work.

Avni tried not to share glances with him. But occasionally her eyes shifted to him and she cant stop adoring him. She cant help but admire him every minute.

Neil catches her starring at him, and he gave a slight smile. Avni felt nervous and immediately looked down at her laptop.

Next couple of hours went in silence.

Neil : You can take a half an hour break....he said coming to them.

They both stood and looked at him.

Avni : Thanks...

Neil : I look strict, but i don't torture my employees.....I have a soft heart too.....he said glancing at avni, while giving a smirky smile to her.

He is secretly enjoying this hide and seek with her. He loves to tease her.

Avni looked at him, and then she looked down to avoid this awkwardness.

Samaira : Thanks Mr Khanna, it is very grateful of you.....she gave a fake laugh, trying to earn some brownie points.

This breaks his moment and he gave a disappointed look, rolling his eyes at her.

Neil : Go, and i will see you after the lunch break.

They both left without looking back.

At cafetaria

Saisha : So, how was it  ?

Avni : Not as scary as i thought...He makes it easy for me.

Saisha : Ohhh...he seems to be extra nice to you...she teases her with that.

Avni : He is nice to everyone. Except that samaira....I think he hates her too.....she gave a happy smile.

Samaira : Hmmm.....and this makes you more than happy....she gave a teasing smile.

Avni blushed at her statement. She start focusing on her coffee while having good thoughts about neil.

He is not like the kind i thought of him. He is not a playboy. I am sure he is a nice guy...I am sure there is a very soft heart, behind his tough skin. she thought to herself, smilingly.

After an hour they get back to work.

Few hours later Avni completed her assignment and so does samaira. They both presented their work to neil and he carefully studied their work.

Neil : You did great girl.

Avni sighed with relief that finally its over. Samaira have a flick to her hairs, filled with attitude.

Samaira : And who was better...?

She invited the insult herself.

Neil glared at her for a second, watching how cunning she is, and then he said...

Neil : It was not in my plan to choose, but since you ask, Its avni.
She did better than you.

Samaira : Why...?

Neil : First of all she has a positive attitude to work, unlike you. And secondly i liked her ideas more.

Samaira : Is it because you are still angry at me...?

( she is referring to the time when she tried to get close to him, a few days ago, but he got very angry at her and left by giving her a warning  )

Neil : I don't mix my personal life with professional, and you should also learn that.
Now leave me and avni alone, please.

Avni skipped a heartbeat hearing that.
(Why me...? Is he angry at me also...? Oh no, i feel scared now....she thought to herself feeling nervous)

Samaira : But why her....? she said glaring at avni....

Neil : I need to discuss her work. And besides i am boss here. You better learn to follow my orders.

Avni can sense smoke coming out of her ears, when she angrily storms out of the cabin.

While they heard the door getting closed, Neil slowly took his steps forward to avni.

Avni skipped another beat. She looked at him and felt uneasy. Her breathe got uneven. She start stepping back a little fearing what he has to discuss with her.

Avni (nervously) : Y...you want to d..discuss project....?

Neil : Not at all...

They both stood still in front of each other.

Neil closes his eyes and took a deep breathe. This releases this tension and he open his eyes feeling at ease.

He just want to be neil now, not any CEO in front of avni.

Neil : I want to talk about us...

( Shit, how will i face him now..." she thought herself,  panick was clearly visible on her face.)

Avni : Huh...?

Neil : Tell me, how much do you want this internship ?

Avni : This is my dream.

Neil : This complicate it more, doesnt it...?

Avni was unable to figure out whether he is angry ? Annoyed ?....or just testing her out.

Avni : I...i am sorry...

Neil : Unless you didn't know who i was...

Avni : I didn't....i swear i didn't know who you was.

Neil looked in her eyes. He felt the same feelings he had back then, at the club. He was getting distracted.

Neil : I...i  think we should not discuss it now. People will start talking. Come in my office after everyone leaves.

Avni : Hmm...she just nodded and didnt take a minute to leave thw space.

What is happening to me ? Why i feel so lost in front of her....? he talked to himself after she left.

At 7 p.m.

Office was empty. Avni made some excuses to not let her friends know why she is staying back. She cant let things get worsen for her.

After everyone left she hesitantly went to neil's cabin. She knocked and he asked her to come in.

Neil looked up and he stares at her for a couple of minute. Avni tried to act normal and gave a smile in return.

Neil : You know, i felt disappointed, when i woke up and you were not there.

Avni took a moment to realize that he is actually talking about the night they spent together. She didn't expect him to say this as the first thing.

Avni : I....i was getting late for the work.

Neil : Right.

he gets up from the chair and walks around the table to be in front of her.

Neil : What if i say that i can fire you from the job..... he was just trying to tease her a little,  as he can see how her eyes turned nervous at this.

Avni looked up at him, as he stood so close to her.

Avni : I....i....i said i didn't know you before...

Neil steps closer. Her breathe hitches and she tries to compose herself.

Neil : But you are a good intern. I can't do that....he said and he inches even more closer to her.

Nervousness grows and she can feel herself losing.

Avni : Wh...what are you doing...she said as she can feel his breathe now, he seems to be too close.

Neil : I don't know....i am stuck between two thoughts.

Avni : Me and your principles...?

Neil : Yes, Right now i don't want to think about my principles. Why you feel so special....?

Avni : I....i am not special....she whisper as her heartbeats started racing fast.

Neil : But you are special.....he said

His hand began touching her skin. She feels like she want it too.

But she pulls away, which falls his hand on the side. But his eyes were still stuck at her.

Neil : I am sorry.....

he felt guilty. He closed his eyes and took a deep breathe.

Neil : I didn't mean to hurt you......

Avni looked in his eyes. She felt miserable. She want to tell him that she also feels the same for him, but right now she don't want to take it further. She remain silent.

She tried stepping out of the cabin when his voice stopped her.

Neil : Wait, i will give you lift.

Avni : Its fine, i can go on my own.

Neil : You get late because of me...
It's my duty to get you home safely..... he said walking and coming in front of her.

Avni looked in his eyes, and she cant deny him.

They reached to the parking. Neil opened the door of his car and let her in first.

The ride began.

Avni : Thanks for the lift.

Neil : You don't need to...he said and passes a sweet smile to her.

Avni cant help but adore his caring side.

Avni : You are not like what everyone thinks of you....

Neil : Really...? What everyone thinks of me....?

Avni : That you are very strict and stone hearted. They think you are a robot, without any feelings in you.

Neil : Quite accurate. he said and concentrate on the road while driving .

Avni : Not at all.....you seems to be robot because you are very hardworking, and you want to make your company success.
And you are strict because that's the way to make employees work.
That's actually admirable.

But unforunately it comes with a price.

Neil : being hated by everyone...

Avni : I doubt anyone hates you...

This makes neil smile. He never heard anyone talking so nice about him. He wants to reply but they reached their destination.

Neil felt disappointed as the drive was short.

Avni passed a smile, and opened the door to leave but was stopped by neil.

Neil : Stay...

there was longingness in his eyes. he dont want to let her go.

Avni : Huh....?

Neil : I really enjoy your company...please dont go....

He said and avni pulled herself back at the seat. she dont know why she agreed so fast, but the intensity in his eyes didn't let her leave.

They looked in each others eyes. Neil pulled her closer , letting just an inch distance between them.

Avni looked lost in his eyes, while his eyes were also filled with desire.

Neil : I don't know why you make me feel like this. I am just not ready to let you go.

Avni can literally hear the sound of her heartbeats as it was beating so fast now.

Avni's eyes gets closed as he inches closer, and placed his lips smoothly on hers. He captured her lips for a smooth kiss. The kiss was more of an emotion.

Avni pulled away after few minutes when she felt the heat rising up.

Sadness flickers in neils eyes as she pulled back.

Avni : i...i think i should leave now....

Neil just nodded half heartedly.

Avni moved out of the car and left.

The next day

The week comes to an end. And it was saturday.

Avni recieved a call in the evening.

Saisha : Hey avni, we are planning for club tonight. Just get ready.

Hearing that, avni start having the flashes of the last time she went to club. She took a deep breathe remembering all that.

Avni : No....never.

Saisha : What...?

Avni : I....i mean i cant come. Sorry but i don't feel like partying tonight.

She tried to get out with an excuse, while the real reason was different.
She fear she might end up meeting neil again, and then one thing leads to another. No she dont want that thing to happen again.

Saisha : Come on avni....please.

Avni : Please understand yaar, i can't come.

Saisha : Avni please yaar, for me. Today is special. Mujhe tumhe kisi se milwana hain...

Avni smiled sensing what she meant..

Avni : What....? You had a boyfriend ? When did this happen...? she gave a happy smile

Saisha : Just come na....i will tell you everything.

Avni kept all her fears aside, and agreed. As she want to be there for her friend now.

Avni reached the same club and found her friends and some other interns at the bar counter. She approached them with a smile.

Avni : Hi guys...she sat next to them

Karan was also present there, and he looks happy seeing avni there.

Saisha passes some fishy smiles to him and avni.

Avni : So where is the lucky boy  ? she said looking at saisha

Karan : Lucky..? Who...?

he glared as if he had no idea what's going on.

Saisha just laughed out, after sipping her drink.

Saisha : Sorry babe, that was just a trick to get you here...

Avni eyes's widened at this shockingly. She can't believe she just got tricked.

Avni : WHAT THE HELL.....? she snapped angrily at her.

Saisha : I am so sorry.....she said hugging her.

Avni seems very pissed off, but later she patched up with her. As she can't be mad for long.

Karan : Avni, what will you have...should i order some Wine...?

Avni : Umm..no...no....i don't want anything.

She denied as she dont want to take any risk this time.

Saisha passed a teasing smile to her, knowing exactly why she don't want to drink.

Saisha : She can't handle drinks, especially from her last experience, i also prefer she stay sober only.......she said laughingly, at avni.

Avni just passed a glare at her.

Avni : Can't you just forget about that....she slowly whispered to her.

Saisha : Sorry sorry...i will stay quite now.

Karan : What happened last time ?

he asked to his curiousity. But before anyone could reply, saisha just screamed again....

Avni : What happened now...? Fir se ranbir kapoor dekh liya kyaa...?

Avni chucked at her smilingly...

Saisha : No babe, but someone even hotter.....Avni, you better hold some breathe....

(Avni looked confused, before she announced..

Saisha : Mr. Khanna, The CEO....
....he is here.

Avni freezed on her place, while her heart started beating fast in nervousness.

Avni : Is....is he actully here....

Saisha : Yes, right there....she said pointing in the direction where he was standing.

Avni didn't want anyone to read her face. She stays calm.

And when everyone gets busy in talking again, she secretly turned around, to have a gaze at him.

She can clearly spot him among the crowd, considering his charm and hotness, makes him stand apart from everyone else.

Thankfully he didn't noticed her yet.

She shrugged her eyes off him, trying not to focus on him. She distracted her mind to other things and began enjoying with her friends.

Next day.

Avni opened her eyes, disturbed by the sunrays falling on her face. She smiled as she felt warm and comfartable.

But wait, she just shot her eyes wide open, realizing that its not her bedroom.

She woke up with a jerk, looking inside her duvet, just to find herself completely naked.

Avni : NOT AGAINNNN.......
