Aditi: The day your dad found out that you have been going out with Shubman.

Sara: Oh fuck, What happened?

Flashback

It was night and Shubman and Sara were supposed to go a party with Saniya and Aarav. Everything was planned and perfect.
Sara was going to sneak out after everyone sleeps and Shubman would be down waiting for her.

If you ask Sara why she is ready to risk it all for Shubman she wouldn't have an answer. She doesn't love him, right?. Whereas Shubman was suprised with himself, he had never loved, screw that, never liked any woman as much as Sara. He didn't even realise when his songs went from hatred and anger to love and gentle all because of one person. Sara Tendulkar. His Sara Tendulkar.

Aditi and Ishan felt like they were living with a new person, a better person. Never in their life did they think their Shubman will change this much, that too because of a girl. They were at first confused, but the day he bought her to a temple for Aditi's birthday Pooja, they got answers to all their questions, Sara.

Sara very quietly tiptoed to the front door and opened it to see Shubman waiting outside in his car. She gave him a smile, closed the door and went towards the car.

Shubman: Looking good Tendulkar

Sara: You don't look bad yourself

Shubman smiled and started driving. During the entire ride, Sara kept rambling on and on while Shubman carefully listen to each and every word. For the first time in his life, he felt like he needed someone, he needed her and somewhere deep down she needed him as much as he needed her. But, humans and love, both are quite complicated.

Soon enough, they reached the bar and the party started. it's safe to say it was a total chaos. People were drinking, dancing, screaming and what not. Sara, Shubman, Saniya and Aarav were split apart and they didn't even realise it. Aarav found his way to Saniya but Sara and Shubman were still split apart from eachother and from them.

Sara was dancing, having the best time of her life, that's when she felt a man behind her. She got abit alert but continued dancing to the song. Suddenly, she felt a hand opening her zip. She turned around to see that man smirking at her. He came closer and closer, Sara became alert and started searching for her friends. That's when she spotted Shubman ordering a drink.

She quickly walked upto him, holding her zip to prevent the dress from falling. But, the man thought she was leading him to a room for privacy and started following her. She reached upto Shubman and grabbed his hand. He turned around to see Sara scared and a man behind her staring at her back. He got up and pushed Sara behind him.

Shubman: where are your eyes man?

Man: look at her bro! What a bomb!

Shubman twisted his hand and the man screamed in pain. He was about to punch him when Sara held his hand. Shubman left him and the man ran for his life.

He turned around to see Sara's teary eyes and trembling hands. His mind went blank and he took her hand in his and kissed them. She looked up and he wiped her tears. She hugged him sniffling into his shirt. He pushed her hair aside and his hands came in contact with her back.

She let out a soft moan as she felt his hand roaming around her back. He found her zip and gently pulled it up. She smiled and snuggled more into his warmth as he stroked her hair.

Shubman: Sara? Are you okay?

Sara: Can we go out? I need some fresh air.

Shubman: Sure

Shubman turned around and held her hand guiding her to the exit. As soon as they got out the cold air greeted them. Sara shivered under the air and Shubman gave her his coat.

They sat near a bench in a silence. And that moment, everything felt perfect, like how it should be. They felt like maybe this is where they belonged, with eachother.

Shubman turned his head to look at Sara admiring the sky. She looked back at him and smiled, oh that smile. It's going to be the end of him.

Shubman: Sara, have you ever fallen in love?

Sara: Ek bar. From highschool to second year of collage, I loved this guy, Ajai. Ajai was perfect. Good-looking, gentleman, one woman guy, great in sports, great in academics. He was everything anybody could ever ask for, but he wasn't mine. I liked him, I loved him, more than I can put in words. But, he didn't know, he'll never know.

Shubman: why did you never tell him?

Sara: Because, I loved him.

Shubman: I didn't get you

Sara: You will, one day.

Sara: what about you? Have you ever been in love?

Shubman: I don't know

Sara: Huh?

Shubman: I mean, my parents died when I was very young. I was raised by Ishan's family after that. They obviously loved me, but it's different when you have someone to call your own, someone who didn't love you because they had to but because they love who you are. I had never felt loved, until I met you.

Sara mind went blank and Shubman realised what he just said. He quickly got up ready to leave but Sara held his hand.

Sara: you like me?

Shubman: i- i- yes. Alot.

Sara: why did you never tell me?

Shubman: why would such a beautiful, educated, amazing woman like you date me-

But before Shubman could complete his sentence, she kissed him. His eyes widened in suprise. The Sara Tendulkar was kissing HIM? HIM?

Shubman regained his senses and kissed her back. He held her waist and pulled her closer while her arms found their way to his neck. Shubman had never felt butterflies or felt like he was having a heart attack while kissing another women. Sara was like an addiction. He needed her to be like this, with him everyday.

Sara pulled out and Shubman looked at her, still holding her close. She smiled and cupped his face in her hands.

Sara: you have me now and I love you.

Shubman: you what?

Sara: I love you Shubman, I love you!

Shubman: i- i-

Sara: it's okay, I'll wait. I'll wait my whole life.

Shubman: you will?

Sara: for you, always.

Shubman smiled and Sara wiped his tears. She tiptoed to reach his height while he chuckled and bent down, she kissed his forehead and he smiled.

Shubman: you are such a cutie baby

Sara: wo toh mai hu

Shubman: come let me drop you back or your dad will kill

Sara: haha, let's go

Shubman and Sara didn't inform Saniya and Aarav that they are leaving because they knew what the two would be doing.

They reached Sara's house and they both got off, Shubman stood near the car waving at Sara. She opened the door to see her dad glaring at her.

Advaith: Well, well, well look who we have here. Shubman Gill. Why Shubman? All other girls died that you are using my daughter?

Shubman: uncle-

Advaith: Don't call me that, don't even mention my name from your filthy mouth.

Sara: Bab-

Advaith: And you Sara? I trusted you. You are going to get married in six months and this is what you are doing?

Sara: But I don't want him baba. I want Shubman.

Shubman: Mr. Tendulkar I know you hate me but I am not using Sara or playing with her feelings. I genuinely like your daughter-

Advaith: Oh please, keep your lies to yourself. I don't want to hear anything. Come Sara.

He dragged Sara inside the house as Shubman watched her leaving. She left like everybody else. But, she will come back. He won't let her go, not so easily. Not until he is alive.

Present

Aditi was telling Sara what all happened and Sara was listening ever so carefully. Suddenly the door burst open and Shubman stood there sweating.

Shubman: Sara! Oh god! Are you okay? Why did you go out? What if Aditi wasn't here. I am not leaving you alone now. I swear to god. I was so scared my love. I thought I lost you.

Sara: Shub! Shub! I am okay! I am fine. I was just bored so I went. I am sorry. I won't do it again.

Aditi: Umm, maybe I should go?

Shubman: No! No! I am sorry, I was just so worried.

Aditi: How did you know she fainted?

Shubman: Our security told me, wait, why didn't you tell me?

Aditi: Umm, I have to go to sleep! Yes! Sleep! bye.

Aditi left while Shubman shaked his head. He looked at her and she looked at him. He turned his face to the other side and left for their room. She followed him like a lost puppy. He went into the washroom while she sat on the bed, pouting. He came back and laid down on the bed without even looking at her.

She hugged him from the back and he pushed her hands away. Her head started hurting again and she held her head, groaning. He quickly turned around to see her in pain. He laid her down on the bed and was going to massage her head but instead she pulled his t-shirt.

He looked down to see her struggling to cuddle him. He smiled and laid back down, she kept her head on his chest and he stroked her head giving her forehead kisses time to time.
