Po and the five had been sparring, for some time with Shifu observing them and now it was Po and Tigress turn. They walked to the centre of the courtyard.

Po: "Alright Tigress, prepare to be defeated by the Dragon warrior!"
Po shouted loudly and dramatically at the same time.

Tigress just rolled her eyes, at Po comment.
Tigress: "tell me Po, when was the last time you had actually beat me in a sparring match?"
She asked crossing her arms.
Po: "uhh, I think... uhhh."
Po said looking at his friends and Master, who shrugged.

Tigress: "That's what I thought."
She said, getting into a fighting stance.
Po: "Oh yeah, well today could be different, here comes the pandemonium!"
He yelled and got into his fighting stance.

With that he charged at Tigress, he aimed his right hand to her face but she ducked. She grabbed his leg, and spun Po around a few times in the air and dropped him into the ground. Po tried to get back up to his feet, but Tigress placed her right hand foot on his back keeping him down.

Shifu: "Good work, as for you Po try not be to be too confident."
Shifu said pointing his staff, at the dragon warrior.
Mantis: " Hah I win!" Mantis turned to Monkey "You my friend, owe me ten almond cookies."
He said to Monkey.

Monkey: "fine I really thought, Po wouldn't go down that fast."
Crane: "it's a new record."
He said

Tigress and Po walked to where, the rest of the five where standing.
Shifu: "that's enough for today, you all have the day to yourselves."
He said, all of a sudden Zeng flew into the courtyard by opening the door.

Zeng: "message for Master Tigress."
He said handing the scroll to Shifu, which he handed to Tigress.

Tigress opened it and as she read it her eyes slightly widened, and her lips formed a small smile. Po saw her smile and wonder who wrote that letter, right before she stopped smiling.
Po: "um who's it from?"
He asked

Tigress closed the scroll, and ignored Po question.
Tigress: "I'll see you at dinner, I'll be busy for the rest of the day."
She said walking quickly towards the doors, and leaving before anyone had the chance to ask her.
Mantis: "well that was... weird."
He said, looking at everyone who still standing there shocked.
Shifu: "I agree."
The rest of the five and Po, all looked at Master Shifu who was surprised by Tigress change of behaviour.

Kitchen
Mantis: "it feels good to win."
Mantis said eating his third almond cookie.
Viper: "you guys shouldn't bet on something, like sparring and why cookies?"
Mantis: "One sparring is easy to bet on, when it involves Po or Tigress and two there not just cookies." "There almond cookies, you really need to savour the taste to understand."

He threw the cookie in the air, and swallowed the last small piece.
Crane: "then why are you stuffing, them in your mouth?"
Crane asked
Monkey: "yeah for a little guy, you eat almond cookies faster than Po."
Monkey said, sipping on his cup of water.

Mantis: "I'm just enjoying my victory, and rolling in the dough." "And for now, I'll forget about that little guy comment."
He continued to eat the remaining, almond cookies.

They all rolled their eyes.
Viper:"well could you at least use a napkin?" "Your making a mess, on the kitchen table."
She said, handing him a napkin.
Mantis: "fine mom!"
He said mockingly.
Viper: "don't talk with your mouth open!"
Viper whacked her tail, on his head.

Bamboo Forest
Tigress was walking with her head facing the ground, she was hoping that her friends didn't suspect anything. She kept walking until she tripped on a rock, and was about to fall.

But she didn't fall, someone caught her before she hit the ground. She looked up and saw male black striped Orange Tiger, with ocean blue eyes he wore a leather jacket and was shirtless with bald training pants.

He had his right leg straight, his right leg bent supporting Tigress as his arms held her. They looked into each other eyes, and they realised who the other was. The leather jacket Tiger, helped Tigress stand but she was still surprised.

Tigo: "Glad I caught you, miss Hardcore."
He said, his smooth voice made Tigress shiver a bit.
Tigress: "T-Tigo?"
Tigress asked smiling at the young tiger.

He nodded and swept Tigress into a huge warm hug.
Tigo: "it's good to see you Tigress,I've missed you."
She hugged back, and wrapped her arms around his well built shoulders.
Tigress: "I have missed you too Tigo." She said breaking the hug. "I left and came here, as soon as I got your message."

Tigo: "So, how are things back at the Jade palace?"
He asked, as they where walking side by side.
Tigress: "It's good normal as usual, although Po is unpredictable." "How is your training?"

Tigo: "It's good I'm improving quite well."
He said, a coy smile appeared on Tigress face.
Tigress: "Let's just see how your training has improved, shall we?"
Tigress got into her fighting stance.

Tigo smirked, and got into his fighting stance.
Tigo: "I think I'm about to beat you in a sparring match, miss hardcore."
He teased, with her new nickname, which some surprise Tigress allowed him to call her that.

And the sparring began, between the two tigers.

Kitchen (Afternoon)

Po and the four members of the five, were all at the table starting to eat Po famous noodle soup. Viper looked around and noticed, her feline sister wasn't at the table.
Viper: "has anyone seen, Tigress today?"
She asked around the table to her friends.

Po: "not since she left after training, where do you think she is?"
Po asked, looking at the entrance of the kitchen expecting Tigress to walk in soon.
Mantis: "She might be training."
He said.

Shifu: "No, she isn't." They all turned around to the door, to see Master Shifu walking in. "I was just in the training hall, and I could tell that she hasn't been there."
Monkey: "well.. that's weird."
He stated the obvious point.
Po: "She's probably punching, the trees in the bamboo forest."
He shrugged, and continued to down the rest of his noodle soup.

Bamboo Forest

Tigress and Tigo had just finished their sparring match, which ended in a tie. Which lead them both to eat, and talk together in peace with nobody to disturb them.

Tigo had already packed enough food for both of them, which was rice and tofu. As Tigress finished her food, she set the empty plate down and stood up.

Tigress: "it's getting late, I should be going before my friends start to worry about me."
She said, deep down Tigress wanted to spend more time with Tigo she always liked his company. Even if he could be, a bi cheeky and immature at some times but she liked it just like Po.

Tigo: "no worries, same time tomorrow afternoon after your training?"
He asked, as he stood up placing his empty plate on top of Tigress.
Tigress: "Yes, after my training I shall come and visit you again." "Bye, Tigo."
She said and started to walk away.

Tigo: "Wait Tigress." He called out to her, and made her stop in her tracks. "I almost forgot I got something for you." Tigress watched him, as he went through his bag and he pulled out a small box.

Tigo: "I got this for you, I saw it and the store and thought of you."
He said handing Tigress, the small gift box and smiling at her. Tigress opened the box to reveal a necklace, with a gold chain and small image of a kung fu stance.

Tigress: "Tigo, I don't what to say, you shouldn't have."
Tigo: "of course I had to, your my best friend and besides this necklace isn't girly girly, it's more tomboy style, which is perfect just for you."
He said, and pointed to her and smiled.

Tigress: "thank you Tigo, no one has ever done something this nice for me before."
She said looking back at the necklace,and back to her close friend.
Tigo: "well, I'm happy to be the first, to do something nice for you."
Tigo chuckled, and patted her shoulder.

Tigress: "It's really nice necklace, how did you afford it?"
She asked curiously.
Tigo: "don't think about it miss hardcore, here let me help you put it on."
He kindly offered his assistance to her, by taking the necklace from her and went behind her putting it on her.

Then he went in front of Tigress, to see how it would look like on her.
Tigo: " wow, it suit you Tigress, now you should get going before your friends start to look out for you."
Tigress: "your right, see you tomorrow Tigo."
She said giving him a smile, and Tigo smiled back and watched her run on all fours back to the palace.

Kitchen

Po and the others including Shifu were finishing their dinner and talking. Until they heard footsteps, they looked to the door and saw Tigress walking in.
Po: "where have you been?"
Po asked Tigress.

Tigress didn't know what to say, she of course couldn't tell them about Tigo.
Tigress: "I was.. uh training in the bamboo forest."
She said it wasn't a total lie, her and Tigo were sparring. Tigress took a seat next to Viper, and drank some tea.

Viper: "So, how was your day Tigress?"
Viper asked
Tigress: "It was fine."
She said not making, eye contact with her and focussed on drinking on her tea.

Mantis: "who sent you, that message earlier?"
Mantis asked her, he and everyone else in the room wanted to know who sent her that message.
Tigress: "oh um.. just a friend of mine."
She said bluntly, Po eyes diverted to the necklace that Tigress was wearing.

Po: "where did you get that, cool necklace?"
Po asked
Tigress: "oh... my friend gave it to me."
She said, getting annoyed by their questions.
Viper: "you never wore a necklace before, even when I wanted you to."
Tigress ignored Vioer question, and sipped on her tea.

Monkey: "does this friend have a name?"
Monkey asked
Tigress: "yes he does, it's getting late I think I should get some rest."
She said finishing her tea fast, and walking out of the kitchen room before they would ask her anything else.

Crane: "that was weird."
Crane said once Tigress left the room
Monkey: "no kidding, who do you think her friend is?"
He asked.

Viper: "who knows, it could be her boyfriend or something."
Viper said sipping her tea, all the boys looked at her. After realising, what she just said. Po, Monkey,Mantis and Crane bursted out laughing.

Mantis: "that's a good one Viper!"
Mantis said in between his laughs.
Viper: "it could be true." Viper said seriously she thought for a second reflecting back to the past. "In fact back when we where teenagers, a lot of guys used to ask Tigress out." "Hit on her, and send her gifts like flowers and things like that."

Monkey: "no way."
Monkey said not believing Viper words.
Viper: "it's true, Master Shifu you remember don't you?"
Viper asked and they all turned to Shifu.

Shifu: "yes it is true, I would often see Zeng with love letters or flowers for Tigress sent by them." "And a few boys, would come to deliver it themselves."
Mantis: "wow."
Mantis said.

Po: "what did she do?
Po asked, interested at Tigress teenager love life including all the boys.
Shifu: "She would either throw them away, or send them back of course."
Shifu said, sounding pleased of Tigress actions.

Viper: "I remember this one time, one guy tired to kiss her once."
Viper said finishing her tea.
Shifu: "WHAT!" "I don't remember that, when was this and did he kiss her?"
Shifu asked, dropping his staff onto the wooden tiled floor,

Viper: "no she stopped him, and it was only about a year ago this happened."
Viper said placing his staff, against the kitchen table.
Crane: "woah, what happened?"
He asked.

Viper: "I don't know she told me to go back to the palace, and I never saw that guy again." Vioer explained they all widened their eyes. "She didn't kill him... I think."
Monkey chuckled a bit.
Monkey: "who are these guys, who failed to charm Tigress?"

Viper: "I didn't know their names but here are mostly snow leopards, lions, panthers, mountain cats, lynxes but there hasn't been a Tiger yet." Viper listed all the men. "But the guy, who tired to kiss her was a wolf."
Po eyes blinked at Viper words.

Po: "that's a lot of guys, and that's a brave wolf."
Po said

Viper: "that's why she stopped going to the village with me." "We couldn't go five minutes, without hearing some guy whistling her or asking her out." She said and leaned back at her chair and remember another thing. "But every so often, she used to go away for a few days, or every few months... I have no idea what she does though."

Crane: "yeah.. but doesn't she still do that?"
Crane asked, Po seemed to pick up on that.
Po: "yeah, she does Master Shifu what does she do?"

Shifu: "I don't know, I only allow her because Master Ogway had always told me that she trains to much." "And that, it was the only solution."
Shifu said.
Viper: "I honestly thought, she went to visit a boyfriend or friend something like that."
Viper said.

Po: "Tigress having a boyfriend?"
He shook his head.
Mantis: "what makes you think that, Viper?"
Mantis asked.

Viper: "because she always looked forward to leaving, and she comes back she is a little happier." "Haven't you guys noticed?" She asked the boys, who all shrugged. "Well trust me, something on her trip is making her happy which is a good thing."

Monkey: "well then who do you think, sent her that message today?"
Viper: "I don't know, but hopefully she will tell us."
She said.
Shifu: "I highly doubt that, now all of you it's late and you have training in the morning."
He said, and with that he left the kitchen thinking of Tigress secret friend. Po and the four said their good nights, to each other and went to their rooms.

China Emperor Palace
On the throne sat an elderly Lion, the emperor speaking to one of his servants. Until a messenger came running, into the room.

Messenger: "your majesty forgive me, but Japan has agreed to make peace as long there is a marriage." "For one of their, warriors."
The messenger said handing, the scroll to the lion.

Emperor: "perfect I will send for the matchmaker, to pick the most honourable mistress, for the warriors bride."
Said the Lion emperor, he got off his throne,
Messenger: "actually your majesty, uh.. the warrior has already chosen a bride for him to wed."
The messenger fiddling, with his fingers.

Emperor: "what?" "Who?"
The lion emperor asked.
Messenger: "her name, is in the scroll."
He signed, he knew it was the wrong decision.

The emperor opened the scroll, and read the entire letter, until he stopped on the female name and signed heavily.
Emperor: "oh I see...oh my." He our the scroll in the robe. "Send a message, for Master Shifu at the Jade palace at once!"
He ordered his messenger.

Messenger: "yes your majesty."
He said and left the room. Once the emperor was alone, he looked out the window and said.
Emperor: "Shifu my old friend... I hope she is ready for the change of her life."

Duh duh I think we all know who is female is. This is more of a longer chapter. Also what do you think of Tigo, will him and Tigress be friends all the time.

Also I found it funny when Viper mentioned Tigress teenager life.
