"Y/n! It's time to choose," Austin's voice boomed. "Which teo streamers will be sent home, and which ones will make the cut?"

You released a long, drawn-out exhale as you thought through your options. Eveyrone seemed genuinely fun to spend time with. The people they planned to invite were just as spontaneous and as kind as them. Out of all the pairs though, you felt like one of them got along a little too well, so to speak. The way they spoke to one another seemed slightly more romantic than platonic. And as much as you respected and supported their relationship, you knew you'd merely be a third wheel with them. In the end, the choice was simple: eliminate the lovers. You texted Austin your answer, and braced for the inevitable chaos.

"The results are in!!' Austin announced. "The players that will be going home are...DREAM AND GEORGE!!!"

Neither the chat nor the candidates were ready for the explosive news. Cries mourning the loss of DNF filled the chat, with green and blue hearts being spammed at an alarming rate. Dream and George were the. Loudest to react, demanding an answer to their elimination in a curious and light-hearted tone.

Austin spoke up before you could even think of how you should respond. "Well, Dream, it makes sense why you were dropped from the show, but George...I gotta say that was a shock..."

Dream almost lost his mind. "WHAAAT?! WHAAATT?!"

"How could you say that, Austin?" George wondered. "What do you mean?"

"George, George, George," Austin said, shaking his head. "I just looked over what you and Dream chose before the show, and I have to say, my heart hurts for you man." You gasped. It couldn't be-

"DREAM CHOSE HOST AND GEORGE CHOSE LOVE!!!"

Your heart stopped as the world around you came to a screeching halt. Nooo!! He chose love!! You screamed in your head. How could I let him go?! George, why?!

You balled your hands into fists and pressed them against your closed eyes. Frustration coursed through your body, but at the end of the day, you knew you had chosen wisely. A platonic relationship with George just wouldn't work out, not when he was already romantically interested with Dream. It was never meant to be.

Austin cleared his throat and addressed the ever-rambunctious group of content creators. "Dream, George, please say your final goodbyes."

"Y/n, it was really nice getting to know you on the show," Dream began. "The only reason I chose host was because I didn't know who you were. Hopefully, there are no hard feelings."

You giggled. "No, Dream. No hard feelings," you said, touched by the sentiment.

"Good. And hey, we'd love to have you on the SMP sometime, so I'm sure we'll see you soon!"

You beamed. "Thank you so much! Bye, Dream!"

With that, the faceless streamer disconnected from the livestream, leaving you with George. The Brit smiled. "I had a fun time on the show today. Sorry things didn't work out, Y/n, but I'm sure we can still be friends."

You grinned. "I'd like that! Thank you, George!" You both waved goodbye as George's screen faded to black; he was gone.

"Okay, guys! Next round is gonna be a little different!" Austin exclaimed. "We'll be playing a round of 'Truth or Dare', so stay tuned! We'll be right back!"
